Ugh. I've been to this location in Miami Lakes 4 times. The 1st time was great but then the last 3 times it's been like mediocre. The place is empty all the time and the last 3 times, they didn't have pita bread at all for my chop chop meal. The oriental chop chop was okay and didn't sit well in my stomach. I will never get that again. I've eaten at 4 other Chicken Kitchen locations in Miami-Dade County and never had an issue with them but this one disappoints me that on 3 separate visits like they had no pita bread. What's up with that? Plus they didn't want to give me a discount for not having it which is part of the chop chop meal. I stopped going because of that and go to the Doral location now. read more

Giving these guys an extra star! Yes they still occasionally forget a side dish (like my sweet potato on an UberEats order unless I add the note minding them) but it is one of the healthier fast food places available near my office. Since I started trying to eat healthier, I found out they do have some options like their plain chop chop with a side of lettuce and red peppers. These 8 oz are good to be split for lunch & dinner, plus the fresh tomato salsa that comes with it has a little bit of a kick. I've also enjoyed their no carb chop chop where I order lettuce or mixed greens instead of rice. Keep it up! read more

Came here looking for a quick lunch, and the food was delicious. I got the Mexican chop chop with sour cream, black beans and all the toppings with Fresh jalapeños and garlic sauce. The portions were good and the chicken was freshly grilled and packed even in the size small. The inside was clean and very modern. For starters , the place looks like a Ghost Town . The gentleman that was serving me forgot to put the black beans on my Mexican order , by the time I realized it I was half way into my meal . When I let them know about it , they said I didn't tell him , but the Mexican brings black beans in the meal . Didn't own up to his mistake . Wanted to rush my order with no one else to attend just so he can be twirling his fingers not doing nothing . Then the cashier lady didn't offer me no sauce for my meal that I was going to eat there . Then while I was there eating , they were talking horribly about a customer that couldn't speak English , saying hurry and her her ass out of here in Spanish . Had I not been a fan of the food, I would have certainly left, but I needed that Mexican Bowl. A 25 minute wait in line, is ridiculous. The guy prepping the food had his belly hanging out under the shirt , had no gloves on or mask. I saw him touch his AirPods, his phone and scratch his belly while he was prepping and preparing a meal to go. The lady that rang me up didn't offer a sauce until I realized that my sauce was missing from the bag. I asked her about it, she acted like it was my problem she said I don't know what sauce to give you , if you don't tell me which one you want with any attitude. I know it's hard to hire good help now in days or even harder to keep theM but if you don't have good help I think you are better off closing. read more

From the management to the cooks in the back, these are truly special people. They greet us with a genuine smile and you can tell that they truly take pride in what they do for the community. These incredible humans have made this my autistic son's favorite place to go. They make him feel like he's part of the family there, each and every time. They had Hispanic music playing in the background which just made you want to get out of your seat and dance. They are now charging for everything extra - extra cheese, extra jalapeno, extra onions, etc. They said it came from corporate to charge extra for those items now. The food tasted good - they served the rice in the bowl however the guy had to measure out the chicken before putting it in the bowl. I would have like an option on the menu with half rice and half lettuce versus just a "no-carb" option, that's just a salad. read more

The staff at this location is extremely rude. Their credit card machine was not working and when I got to the register after our 2 bowls were already prepared, they said sorry you have to pay cash or get cash from the ATM around the block. To avoid all that and my food getting cold I offered to pay the $11 I had and they said no can do. If it weren't for the fact that I already know that I usually like the food there I would give them a 1 star. Will definitely avoid that location. read more
