Came here at the recommendation of some people and it kinda just fell flat. There was nothing particularly special about it (although there should be with those prices). The guacamole was $25 which shocked me considering it was extremely lacking in flavor. The carne asada tacos were good but, again, nothing special. Their Mexican rice contained corn kernels and there is no other version of rice that didn't contain corn so keep that in mind if you happen to have food intolerances (like me) or allergies. The service was, again, nothing particularly great. They were very slow, we had to repeatedly ask for things because they just wouldn't bring them to/would forget. It is a sit down restaurant with great prices. It isn't fancy but it is totally clean. They have a pretty broad menu. It is also one of the only spots that I can find in South Florida that serves Mole Chicken - the one made with cocoa sauce. They give you free appetizers of chips and salsa -- and they are happy to replenish it! Their meals are enough to take home an extra serving. Back in August of 2025 we came here with a party of 15 people for my sons going off to college last dinner. 2 days before this event my son and I ate here at Cancun grill and the waitress told us about their Tuesdays all you can eat tacos. She explained that you can order each kind of taco and even take them home if you don't finish them. In August when we decided to have our group dinner here we had no issues. Everyone was so helpful. The waiters were all very attentive, others even helped our own waiter due to our party size. However today my son goes back with a friend of his and not only was the waitress EXTREMELY rude. But she can barely speak any English to communicate properly. And she insisted you cannot take home what you didn't finish. She got the manager involved as well, which this was the SAME manager who gave us NO ISSUES back in August. Now it's one thing if the policy has changed, but to speak to your guest so poorly and rude with no type of etiquette is unacceptable. Threatening to fire the waitress of who allowed this back in August? When you, yourself, were the manager to sit our entire party and assisted us at times. Did you speak this way because these were young adults? Would you have spoken to a grown man this way? I highly doubt it!
