I have no idea what is better, their service or their food! My family and I love coming here! Whether it id eating in or taking out, the owner always has the biggest smile on his face and the most amazing personality! I literally called thirty minutes before closing to put in an order and he took my order with ease! I estimated time there to be 845pm and i was still five minutes out when i called at 848pm and he said no problem! He'll wait for me and it just makes me feel so special! Calling this food hainan chicken is a stretch. This place was quite disappointing. Rice was dry. Chicken wasn't moist and lacked texture. It was so thin and unimpressive. Also no ginger scallion sauce which is a staple hainan chicken condiment. I also ordered the spicy chicken. It was absurdly hot for medium. Which isn't the end of the world, but it also just didn't taste good. Again the chicken was so thin, mostly breading in this case. Parking is ample and free right outside the restaurant. There are plenty of seatings inside to devour your meal right away. The grilled chicken with ginger rice was ok. I wasn't a big fan of the accompanying sauces and I found the chicken dry, tough, and chewy. The rice had zero ginger taste to it. The salad dressing was sweet and sour as was the sauce for the chicken. My favorite part of the meal ended up being the soup. The overall meal was in very tepid temperature. There's two self-ordering kisoks in the front. There's plenty of tables to sit down and dine in, but it seems like most people ordered their food to go. Service is fantastic and the place is super clean. Their Hainan chicken is delicious -- so juicy and flavorful. The only thing I wish they had is scallion oil sauce, but they do have a spicy sauce that usually comes with the pork belly. Honestly, it's amazing with the chicken too. It's pretty spicy though, so only get it if you love spice like I do. Today I tried the pork belly and it was awesome! Super crispy and perfect with the ginger rice, which is delicious. I could tell they care a lot about their food presentation and i respect that. Lastly the soup was the perfect palette cleanse - light in flavor but refreshing. I ordered online but if you go into the restaurant to order, there are two self-order kiosks. There's little staff interaction since they're usually standing in the back. It comes in a bento box rather than in those traditional styrofoam to go boxes, which is pretty unique. It's divided into four different sections, with the rice, chicken, soup, and veggies in their own section. The ginger rice was warm and tasty, and there was actual ginger in the rice. The chicken can be ordered at 3 different spice levels (mild, medium, or very spicy), and I ordered medium spicy. It wasn't too spicy but it definitely has a small kick. The chicken is also kinda tangy/sour as if lime was squeezed onto the chicken, but it was super tasty and seasoned really well. It's cut up into bite sized pieces which made it easy to eat.
