I was excited to try this place, but was really underwhelmed. I got a 4pc boneless galbi combo with a baguette bowl and golden cheese fries. The chicken was decent, but the galbi sauce was much less flavor than I've had other places. But what was really odd to me were the fries. I'm not certain a mistake was not made as the powder they were coated in was pure sugar... not at all what I expect from a dusted cheese fry... it was so odd, I had to throw them out. The bread too was really sweet. It looked like it would be a cheesy garlicky side, but was sweet bread with sweetened cream cheese. It should be advertised as a dessert, and had it been my expectation/reality alignment would have been different. So 1 star for the food and a second star for the staff who were very nice, but there are definitely MUCH better food options in thar court. I won't name them here as I think it's classless to mention competitors in a review. read more

I was so excited when I saw that they had galbi pizza on the menu! It's a personal sized pizza covered with tons of pieces of seasoned chicken, gooey cheese, and drizzled in sauce. The crust was really crispy; I loved dipping the pizza in the spicy mayo sauce that came with the wings. Although I did like pizza overall, the taste of it wasn't what I expected to be associated with galbi. The wings were super juicy and delicious! It was my first time here, so Dara, the friendly cashier, suggested I try the pepper crispy wings. The skin was seasoned and super crispy, while the chicken itself was super tender and juicy on the inside. It paired well with the spicy mayo sauce. The chicken also came with a side of pickled radishes which were a great complement to the wings and pizza. During lunch, it was super busy in the food hall, but I was lucky to have found a seat, as the service person cleaning up after people have finished, were very prompt and quick in wiping down the tables. Came to pick up a couple things at one of my favorite stores HMART. If you're a big fan of Korean Fried Chicken, Goobne Chicken is a must try in the food court. We ordered 20 wings: 10 sweet & spicy, and 10 of another flavor. We both noticed that the wings had a nice fry job despite not being battered, and they were moist & meaty. Nonetheless, I would have liked more heat with my wings. The lady who took our order was super friendly & nice, and our order came out fairly quickly. As I mentioned in my other review, the food hall area is large and clean. No carts are allowed, that leads to more space to walk around. I would definitely return to GCW the next time I am at H Mart. Although oven-roasted, it did have a slight crisp to them, but it just doesn't hit the same as a FRIED chicken.
