I use to go to the Arcadia location before it was closed. Their chicken sandwiches are amazing! You can actually taste the chicken and some heat. The menu is different a bit than the one in Arcadia. Everything basically is like a combo where it all comes with sides. I do miss how I was able to only get the sandwiches. You can replace the fries with coleslaw or Mac and cheese if you like. The tenders were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. They were well-seasoned with spice and paired well with their comeback sauce. Fries were average and were seasoned ok. They were your typical crinkle cut fry that a lot of hot chicken spots have and are nothing special. The pickles and bread are also typical of most hot chicken spots. This place used to be good, but nowadays this place is bad and isn't good at all, the food is old and it's not fresh at all. Also the workers here are incompetent and rude. Today (sunday at 2:30ish) my sister and I went up to pick up an order where I found out someone took our togo order. Usually this isn't an issue for us, but the male worker was so rude about the whole situation asking me to come in to verify that we didn't take the order already and pretend that we stole from them. We tried to explain to them that that wasn't the case and that maybe it's how their system works when coming to togo orders. They didn't check the order number, they don't check the receipt, they just leave the togos next to where people pick up their foods to eat inside. ANYONE can walk up see the name on the order and pretend that that's their order. He said this has never happened before and said I was trying to argue with him where all I wanted was my food. He didn't apologize for the inconvenience, he didn't even care about it, all he cared about was being right about how great their system is and how we looked sus for coming in for an order that was stolen from us. They ended up remaking it but needless to say I won't come back because the workers are incompetent and the quality of food lacks to what it was back then. There are better spots to grab fried chicken and honestly there's better places in the area to eat IHOP would give better service and BETTER FRIED CHICKEN than this place. read more

I won't be going back. They pre-cook a lot of things. I ordered a half chicken. The cashier asked the cook if they had any. He analyzed what was sitting under the warming lamp and said yes. I noticed from afar that there was cooked chicken sitting there and it already had a red Cajun coating. Well there's a big jump in heat from Hot to Extra Hot! I do not recommend Extra Hot to anybody. My nose was running! I am not critiquing them for the spiciness. I'm critiquing them for the freshness. I ordered it for dine in. The receipt showed "For Here" in big bold letters at the top. They gave it to me as a To Go order. They forgot to put Ranch in the bag. They didn't include a knife for the bone-in chicken. The chicken breast was placed in the box upside-down. With all the coating on it I couldn't tell, and my plastic knife was just not cutting through. I soon realized this and then flipped the chicken over. The coleslaw was good. The Mac n Cheese is probably the best thing on the menu. I truly is excellent. They don't have much of a drink selection. No soda. You can get lemonade or a large variety of cider or a small selection of beer. The Honey Blond was good. Last time I was there, the fries were very cold because they had been sitting there. I got the chicken sandwich combo and was more than full after the meal - no need for an extra tender or sandwich if you ask me! I came around 11am when they opened, and service was prompt and friendly. In terms of spice level, I got the extra spicy/extra hot since hot is usually too easy for me to eat. Management has left the place to deteriorate. I've been coming here since they opened and it's sad what's happened. Have to clean my own table every time. The staff ignore you when you arrive. The bathrooms are dirty and always out if soap. I assume the kitchen is the same. The chicken spice level is inconsistent. They got rid of their tap beers and only keep basic canned options. This is also the hangout for the highschool e-bike crew who pour themselves free water, no food and sit without being asked to leave.
