I've ordered 2x from this restaurant whenever I crave for some Thai food. I love how affordable the lunch specials are. I always get the Pad Thai that comes with a portion of side salad and rice. The Mango sticky rice is very good. However, I don't think you need to add the side coconut sauce because the sticky rice is sweet already. Mangoes were perfectly ripe and sweet. As others have stated Customer service was fast, but not your typical friendly server. I may have gotten a small smile from the woman at the very end when I was paying. So if you want amazing customer service and friendly servers this is not the place but if you want fast, no funny-business service, then come here. 2. I'm Asian so I consider this Asian food. And all Asian food places have chopsticks as their usual utensil. Not here, it's just forks. So I had to ask for the chopsticks, knowing I wouldn't get a smile. I didn't get a smile. 3. The food came out in big proportions, that's a plus. I didn't know what I wanted, and I've never been here, so I went with the usual pad Thai lunch special as my gauge for the food. It's not hard to get it right, so with something so simple I wanted to see what the flavors, textures, and taste comes from this dish. I usually love a good saucy pad Thai dish that packs a punch, and it was very very saucy. Not a dry noodle in sight. But I think these were a little too saucy and the noodles were overcooked. But it got the job done and my craving was satiated. 4. This is probably the worst part - the bathroom. After paying I went to the restroom and there were probably 30 fruit flies in there. Now I've been to Asia and I've had my fair share of many different bathroom stalls, indoors and outdoors, where I had to wave tissue paper around my booty to prevent the fruit flies from landing on my skin or around my private areas when peeing. But never have I ever needed to do that in a restaurant in OC. There were some on the sink handle and on the paper towel I needed to use to dry my clean hands. Silver lining, it didn't smell bad in the restroom. But where did all those fruit flies come from?!? I didn't bring my phone into the restroom so no pictures to show you. Why not get rid of the flies before you open for business? Hope this does not translate to the kitchen area too. But let's just say even though I am now full, I've lost my appetite. Stopped by here on a whim for a quick lunch while shopping in the area. Was not a fan. The service was horrible (Hard to say horrible since we barely even got service). My sister is vegan so we mentioned that when ordering her dish just to make sure. When the salads came out, it had some thick mayo looking dressing on it. It definitely had dairy. No server ever came by to check on us for awhile after the salads were dropped so I just took the plates up to the counter myself and asked for salad with no dressing, just a few lemon wedges. The lady didn't say anything, but gave a rude look and snatched the plates back. She brought them back, with lime wedges.
