I usually stop at this restaurant because it's on my way home but every time I come customer service go down the drain . Staff seems to be in such a hurry to get back to what they're doing that they don't even listen to your complete order. I've been to this location more than twice where my order is incomplete or wrong then when you ask for a correction Staff treats you like you're a bit inconvenience. Three star is mostly for the food people the prep in the back don't care whether or not there's one customer waiting or 10 customers waiting. I thought fortunately for me I'm the only person in the entire restaurant, but it still took 20 minutes to get my order! When complaining to the manager, Kimberly, who is new, but tried her best to get them motivated to finish up quickly. The people in the back doing the prep were more interested in discussing what they were gonna do for the weekend rather than to get me my sandwich! When arriving at chick salad chick we were greeted with smug looks and the cashiers looked as if they were miserable. They made us feel pretty dumb when asking a question about the free scoop promotion they are running for national chicken salad day. After we ordered the young lady came out and told us they were out of grape salad and needed us to make a substitution because they weren't making anymore. We substituted for potato soup (which wasn't very good might I add). In walk two girls that we over heard order grape salad and they didn't tell them they were out so I turned around to look and they were pulling bowls of it out of their fridge. I don't think this is very fair and I can't help to think this is racially motivated being they were rude to us off the rip and didn't make the same accommodations for the white guests they were serving vs bringing out bowls for the other guests that happen to be the same race as them. This restaurant has consistently been declining. I have had an issue with my order and/or food the last few times that I have stopped by. A month or so ago my order was incorrect. I ordered broccoli salad with no bacon. When I opened my food I saw that they did not provide the no bacon that I requested. They also failed to put my second scoop of chicken salad in my order. Today, I stopped by and ordered two scoops, and a side of broccoli salad. When I arrived home and was eating, I bit into something hard. There was a piece of plastic in my salad. I called and advised the manager. I am hoping they examine the salad to ensure someone does not accidentally swallow plastic. The mama her told me the broccoli salad is made fresh so she is not sure how the plastic got into the salad. She requested that I send her a picture. I'm on the fence about this place. I'd always heard pretty good things about Chicken Salad Chick and decided to give them a try while working at my office and realizing I hadn't packed my lunch. It's super easy to find as it's located in the area behind the QT on Paces ferry (right next to Meehan's) and there's plenty of free parking so no worries there. I got the Dixie Chick and a side Caesar salad and I was just left underwhelmed. The salad looked like my 2 year tore some lettuce with his hands, grabbed seven croutons, opened the jar of bacon bits, and dusted it with grated Parmesan cheese. The dressing had a weird taste to it and it was just the most basic salad I've had or looked at in quite some time. The actual chicken salad...just bland. With this being my first experience with CSC, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was expecting I guess a little flavor or something. It just tasted like unseasoned pulled chicken mixed with a bunch of mayo and celery. Overall the food just wasn't anything that left me thinking I'd be back here. On the flip side, the staff was amazing. As soon as j walked in, the young lady at the register who was assisting someone else at the time, greeted me with a huge smile and let me know she would be with me in a few moments. Today is ribbon cutting for the new Vinings location. YAY!!!! I'm so glad this company made its way closer to the city. My first taste of this good salad was a while ago at the Roswell location. And I fell in love Instantly. The creaminess of the salads are prefect... with just the right amount of everything. Now! I can say the price is a little over priced, BUT!!!! Please please please please pass on to greater management that Dillicious Diva needs to be made a year-round choice, not just a summer special! This is hands-down the BEST chicken salad on the menu! It's a shame to not have it available always! On a more critical note, I don't really understand the use of pickled jalapeños in Kickin Kay Lynne and the spicy pimento cheese. To me, it just tastes like someone upended the salt shaker into the mix. Wayyy too salty. I love a spicy option, but I wish there was one that wasn't so salty. As far as work my experience with chicken salad chick was complicated I wouldn't work here if you want a stubborn manager. Every time I had something serious to take care of I would be fully transparent to my manger Sonia , and each time she would show retaliation by taking me off the schedule, ignoring important text or calls and just being totally dismissive and rude . I decided to resign because it's better jobs out there but as far as this location the manager is extremely narcissistic and unfair . Just enough seasoning and the right portion of Mayo. My choice went perfectly w the tomato soup which was also delicious! I had never had chunky tomato soup. Usually it very well blended and smooth but this was not what I expect. It also tasted like maybe they added a touch of heavy cream and even a bit of citrus. Absolutely Devine! All in all it's a great concept. Different flavors of chicken salad served alone, on top a salad or on a sandwich. From savory or sweet, spicy they have you covered.
