Food and service were amazing! I ordered the fried catfish, green and yams. Food was made to order. Located in a plaza with plenty of parking. Highly recommend and cant wait to dine here again.

Great food & good hospitality. 10/10 no question, you need to come! Recommend jerk chicken over rice

The best hidden gem in the area with some good southern soul food. The location is decent and the inside is small but doable. Most people either call in ahead or visit and wait for their order. Either way, when you get your plate, the food comes out piping HOT! As you can see, you'll definitely get your monies worth and the food is as delicious as it looks. Please give this place a try!!!!!!

Hey guys long time no hear from! I thought I'd try a spot today for dinner after an appointment and I was excited about this venue from the other reviews. I ordered the 2 fried wings plate and how can I put this the chicken lacked flavor. I also ordered black eyed peas which were good but the real let down is the dressing. Extremely bland and just not executed well. On top of the fact that there is a 2 dollar upcharge for the dressing. Not good! And it's very dry I requested gravy and it didn't help at all. Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall. I wish these guys success but I won't be back.

Fried Chicken Whole Wings with Mac and cheese and Steamed Cabbage- very tasty

Solid southern cooking establishment. It won't win any ambiance in dining awards, however. I ordered the whole wing fried chicken and it was made to order. My food came out piping hot, crispy, and well seasoned. I chose Mac and cheese and cabbage for my sides. I am the only stewed cabbage fan in my house so I eat it when it is on the menu. I did find it odd that there wasn't a roll or corn bread served with the meal. Which, I am ok with because most of the time, it takes away from the meal. I don't live close enough to make it a regular take out place. It was a nice lunch option.

I found this place by scrolling on TikTok and discovered their page. I did an Uber eats pickup and was skeptical if the food would stay hot; let's say a 23 min drive home the food was indeed still hot. I got the fried catfish, cabbage, mac n cheese main and a fried whiting with mac and yams. Boooooooyyyy that fish is fried perfectly and seasoned well. I did not expect the food to still be crispy and hot when I got home but it was. That was the best catfish I ever had! The Mac was decent definitely creamy, the yams were soft and sweet. The cabbage I could tell they used red pepper flakes to season but it did need a touch of salt. It's a small hole n the wall in a shopping center, but the food is delicious no doubt. Today I wasn't looking for ambiance I wanted delicious food. Customer service 10/10 and they support the community!

Service was great and most of the sides were solid. Beans were sweet with pork sausage- really unique and I loved them. Mac and cheese, collards, and clack eyed peas were all great. The fried wings I had tasted like they were fried in the same oil as the fish. Not terrible just not what I was hoping for. Apple cobbler was one of the sweetest things I've put in my mouth- couldn't eat it. The red velvet cake was awesome. Cornbread is sweet (like I like it). There are lots of other things on the menu I'd love to try- will be back.

Today, for lunch, I had the grilled T-bone steak, cooked medium with collard greens and black eye peas. The steak was cooked perfectly and so tendered I could cut it with a plastic fork and knife. The collards were the best I've had in years. The people running the place and cooking are the best. Eating there, feels like you are home with family.

This is a large menu restaurant for sure . For this area that doesn't have lots of soul food i would say it's not bad for the area service is good so that's a plus!

Fried Pork Chop Steamed Cabbage and mac and cheese

Only a 2 star review because the customer service was great! Very comfortable environment. But the food is absolutely nasty. The pork chop tastes burnt and like old grease and the mac has no type of flavor and was nasty. the cabbage was pretty good but i'll won't be back.

Turkey Meatloaf 3 Cheese Mac and Cream Yams

It's a must I go back to try more dishes. It's been a while since I had quality soup food from a restaurant but R C's is bringing the flavor ! Both plates filled to the brim. Not pictured was the Lima beans and apple cobbler. I want them to go BIG! Take over Marietta R C & staff!

If you're in Marietta and craving some truly divine soul food, you have to stop by The Manna House…read more I ordered the catfish with mac 'n cheese, collard greens, and cornbread, and let me just say, this meal was worth every extra minute it took to get off I-75. Let's start with the catfish: perfectly crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside, and seasoned like somebody's grandma whispered the recipe in the chef's ear. Honestly, it was so good I almost asked for another plate just in case I missed something the first time. This is a 10/10, no notes kind of dish. Now, the collard greens? Whew! These greens deserve their own standing ovation. They were hands-down the best I've ever had--an 11/10, slap-yo-mama, text-everyone-you-know level of good. Perfectly seasoned, just the right amount of smokiness, and with a flavor that'll make you question every other batch of collards you've ever eaten. The mac 'n cheese was solid--cheesy and definitely satisfying. The cornbread? Sweet, moist, and the perfect sidekick to all the rich flavors on the plate. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the service was as warm as the food. The only catch (besides that incredible catfish)? It's a bit of a drive from the highway, so plan accordingly if you're popping in for lunch. But trust me, The Manna House is worth every minute of the detour. Just go ahead and clear your schedule--you'll want to savor every bite.

When I arrived, I grabbed a piece of chicken and it was already cold, so I decided to wait for them to bring out a fresh batch. Same thing with the chicken livers: cold and not refreshed the entire time we were eating. Near the end of the meal, I finally asked if they were planning to put out fresh chicken. I explained that I tried it when I got there (about 30 minutes earlier) and it was cold, and nothing had been replaced. The staff member said she could start working on some, so I waited. About 12 to 15 minutes later, they did bring out fresh chicken and fresh chicken livers, and honestly, when it's fresh it's actually pretty good. The mashed potatoes were another issue. They had a thick, crusty layer on top, and it looked like they dumped the old, dried-out potatoes from the previous pan over the fresh batch. I had to scrape off the crusty topping just to get to the fresh potatoes underneath. Overall, the food itself isn't terrible. The bigger problem is the way it's being handled. It felt like they were more focused on cutting costs and stretching old food than keeping the buffet fresh and consistent. My advice: if something you want looks like it's been sitting out too long, say something early before you sit down. If you wait, you may never see fresh food brought out.

I decided to have a tapas-style dinner with food from The Works and just had to grab some chicken from Delilah's. The menu is plentiful without being overwhelming, except when it comes to picking a favorite between the flavorful options. I knew that I didn't want or need a full meal and opted for their 3 whole wing option that came paired with cornbread. The young man who took my order was so polite and patient, as there were a few folks in line and waiting for previously placed orders. He let me know that my order would be ready in about 15 minutes so I took the time to continue my food-finding journey around the market. When I returned later, I had lost track of time and figured I'd just poke my head around their stall to see if my chicken was ready. It wasn't at that moment but I took some time to observe the process. There was only one guy in the open kitchen and prep area creating all of the meals and he was on the move. If I could add smells to my review, this one would smell like fried chicken and cornbread. It was all so fresh! When my order was ready, I only made one other stop before heading to my car to go home to my family... but not before I tested those whole wings from Delilah's. When I say that they were fresh out of the grease? Babehhh. It's like he just threw them right into the basket only seconds before. It was sooo crunchy, so juicy, just a fantastic wing.
