The problem with this place is the lack of customer service training for the employees. I experienced a very negative response from the entire team when I was told I would not be served because they did not have change for a $50 bill. I was finally offered my change in coins. When the young lady returned to the register with a cigar box filled with rolled coins, I refused them. A customer started running her mouth and told me that I should have compassion for the staff. This review is not about CSC's food but about it's service. Usually, my experience at CSC is delightful. Today, however, the cashier, Ashley, with her blue hair & heavy makeup was so bland, so unhelpful & so negative that it has marred my wanting to come back to this location. She never made eye contact, never smiled, spoke in a flat tone & when handing me my order, made little attempt to approach me to do so, instead waiting for me to stand so she didn't have to make the effort to move forward one foot. Their fresh quality chicken salad and ingredients are much better than that you get a McDonalds or a Subway. I got the jalapeño chicken salad on a croissant(which wasn't warmed or pressed), it was not spicy at all, and wasn't that well seasoned, I also ordered a scoop of the classic chicken salad. Same as the jalapeño, it wasn't bad but there wasn't much flavor. One thing I liked was that neither of the two were overly salted. The pickle spear was probably the better of any fast food/casual restaurant I've eaten at. The service was great and the seating made it seam as if it was a nice little restaurant. My son ordered a Turkey pesto sandwich. Seems pretty straightforward. We got to the car and no pesto. So he went back inside and asked for the missing pesto. He was immediately told they don't have any. Well, I feel like that should have been stated before the other was taken and paid for. I'm literally addicted to CSC. Wherever I go, I always check to see if there is one within 15-20 miles. This time was no different. I always get fruity Fran but I have sampled others. I actually came in about 10 minutes before closing(sorry lol) but that did not stop B from providing outstanding customer service to me. We ended up chatting for an extra 5-10 mins after I got my food. All in all, this place gets 5 stars from me. You can't beat delicious chicken salad AND great customer service.
