That is the only positive thing I can say for the experience I had at this location. The chicken salad (Carol's Classic) was days old. The food is solid. The staff at the window is usually polite. But they are consistently poor with accuracy if you ask for anything like "hold the tomatoes." I just brought home an order that I checked quickly to ensure the tomatoes were left off my sandwiches(they were- my last order they weren't, again) only to find that the extra scoop of pimento cheese I ordered was missing. If it were a one-off I'd let it go without comment, but with prices these days nobody can afford missing or wrong food. Some time ago there was a "You're responsible for checking your order" sign posted in the drive-thru window. I imagine that wasn't well-received and slowed things down in the line so it was removed. But it indicates people returning to complain about wrong orders isn't a unique or new issue. I'll try the other location, but not likely to return to or recommend this one, at least at the drive-thru. read more

What has happened to one of my favorite places? First, I understand the pandemic has caused delays in shipping ingredients and/or parts, but it seems they are out of items more often than not. Secondly, the service is HORRIBLE!! Are there any adults working there? I never thought I would see the day where a restaurant concept was based on chicken salad, but there it was, the Chicken Salad Chick. But actually it was pretty good. They have a number of different "flavors" of chicken salad. I had the BBQ and my coworker had the buffalo style. We both agreed it they were good. We also both also agreed that for better or worse the flavors weren't that strong. In other words the BBQ tasted like chicken salad with a hint of BBQ. Same with the buffalo. But he said he would have preferred it to be a bit more buffalo-y. That said if you like chicken salad you'll like this place because the chicken salad itself is quite good. With each sandwich you also get a side and cookie. The fruit salad was good and fresh. Inside the place is pretty nice. We got there at 12:30 and there wasn't much of a line but the tables were full. They have a nice place to eat outside as well. I think a sandwich with the side, cookie and a drink was about $10 which is maybe a little pricy but I think it's worth it for what you get. If I find myself in the area again I'll stop by and grab lunch. read more

I eat here at least once a week and I haven't come across anything on the menu that I don't like. The grape salad will change your life. It is sweet and delicious with a yummy brown sugar & nut topping. I was scared to try it because the name sounded crazy but I am SO glad that I did! The store is always clean and neat and the staff is very welcoming. Since we are regulars, they know us there! They are friendly and check in with you while you are dining. They seem to genuinely care about how your experience is. I have never had an issue with dining in or ordering through their drive through. It is really quick service and it doesn't disappoint. The food is always fresh. The bread is soft and yummy. There are 15 types of chicken salad with something to please any palate. My personal favorite is "Kickin' Kay Lynne" which is a delicious mixture of bacon, jalapeños, buffalo, ranch and cheddar cheese! The "Fancy Nancy" also does not disappoint! I have tried several others and they are tasty as well. I recommend CSC to everyone when they ask for a good place for a quick meal in Columbus. What can one say, the chicken salad was perfect, the restaurant was spotless, and the employees were very neat in appearance and very happily serving their customers. I got Lauryn' Lemon Basil and could not have been more pleased with my sandwich. Add the chips and diet coke and ooooh, it was so good! I ordered the traditional 2 scoops on a salad. The salad was just okay but it's salad so. But the chicken salad was really good. It tasted fresh but didn't have chunks of chicken so it seams processed but still very good.
