Went here for lunch. The selections were just limited enough to ensure a perfect menu. Everything…read morewas very good. The salad had plenty of toppings to add. There were about a dozen main course items to choose from, mostly fried. There was enough items to make a full, non-fried meal. Two desserts to enjoy, both excellent. Never had an empty glass. Do note, we paid in advance; therefore, cash is needed at the end for a tip.

When I looked in Google and saw that they were open on Sunday I decided that I was taking him there. You come in and it is a down home feeling. You have to lay before you eat, not a big deal and for me and my husband it was about $30. They had fried and baked chicken, mashed potatoes, lime beans, black eyed peas, tomatoes and okra, and of course fried green tomatoes. The reviews we had seen had mentioned that item as being great and my husband can attest to the fact that they are delicious!!! The service was good and the people all checked up on us and made sure our drinks were filled and plates cleared away. We talked to one of the servers and they talked about how they were open on Sunday through Friday for lunch but closed and reopened on Friday nights for a seafood buffet. My husband and I looked at each other and went "Yes"! We will DEFINITELY be back to eat some more of their cooking. The menu is listed daily on their Facebook page so head over there to like and follow them to see what's for lunch everyday!

I watched as people shoveled in that horrible mess. They were ripping, pulling and biting hard into that chicken to get it off the bone. I watched as they struggled to chew that tough dry over fried chicken. The gravy is extremely salty. The fried livers were bland and tasteless. The gizzards were extremely tough and chewy with no taste. The green beans are from a can because the taste of tin is there. The greens were nasty and mushy. The sides were just bad.

It had a drive thru but we just walked there from the main streets downtown. We beat the church crowd and found a good seat. We didn't get the all you can eat meals but the little buffet looked yummy with a nice variety of food. We didn't get the 3 piece chicken dinner and we were able to pick our pieces and I was surprised the cost wasn't more if you picked 3 larger chicken pieces but maybe they didn't charge us cause we got 2 chicken legs and 1 breast. It came with 2 sides so we got potato salad and fried okra. All of it was on point! They started getting very crowded so we didn't stay long. But for $13 for our meal I thought it was a good deal and because we shared that was only $6.50 a person.

Came home for New Years & stopped here after seeing this place advertised on Facebook…read more Let's begin by saying.... The customer service was amazing. The Lemon Pound cake was very good. Moist. And a must buy. The shrimp were a nice and were "REAL" shrimp. Not sure where they were from but these aren't your imported shrimp. The style of French fries were a good choice. And fried to perfection. I will return and recommend.

So for dinner we decided to find a local restaurant to support near Biloxi. Based on the reviews, we chose Cat Daddy's. It gave me pause when we found out it was in a mall but we remembered even Chick Fil-A started in a mall. We get to the counter and asked for recommendations. We had our minds set on fish based on the presentation in pictures we had seen on Yelp. The fish available was whiting which was a red flag but we still proceeded. We were looking for Catfish based on the name and pictures on Yelp. We both decided on fish baskets one with fries and the other with potato salad. The fish was hot and had good flavor, except for the interior which seemed to have been previously frozen.. it just didn't seem fresh and had a greasy taste to it. I knew my sensitive stomach would rebel if I kept eating it so I chose to eat the hush puppies fries and potato salad which were good.. we were also disappointed to find that this place no longer sells dessert raved about in the reviews. But given the quality of the fish we might not have missed much. This place should look into fresher fish choices and move from the mall to places where customers will purchase a quality product. Mall patrons are typically looking for burgers, pizza and the like. I'm not a restaurateur but I suspect it isn't profitable existing in the mall and one may have to choose cheaper cuts of fish/meat just to survive. It saddens me to write this review but this is my honest opinion. I hope this is helpful to the owners and prospective patrons. It just wasn't what we were expecting.

Key deserves a huge shout out for being such a sweet and attentive server. I liked her tremendously. We had the boudin egg rolls and the Swamp Tour Sampler: jambalaya, crawfish étouffée, gumbo, and red beans and rice. For dessert, we had bread pudding with beignets. The Boudin egg rolls were the best thing I ate on my entire trip. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, every bite was heaven. The jambalaya was the best jambalaya I had on my trip as well. It had a fantastic smokiness and was not wet at all. I also loved the crawfish étouffée. It was creamy and loaded. The red beans and rice had a bit of a sweet edge that was not quite my taste. Try for yourself. The bread pudding was the perfect sendoff. Bite-size beignets were nestled in the bread pudding. It was a sweet, creamy, perfectly Mississippi dessert. I loved Parrain's so much that I bought a T-shirt. I generally don't like wearing clothes that serve as advertisements, but this place just has to be advertised all around the country. Key, thanks for a great lunch! If you're ever in Biloxi, Mississippi, you must go and try this little gem.
