It's a small gesture, but it immediately made us feel welcomed. We decided to go with one of the combo meals, which came with boneless crispy fried chicken, cheese tteokbokki, and fried potstickers. We also added an order of corn cheese because... how could we not? The chicken lived up to the hype. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and coated in a sauce that had me licking my fingers without shame. The cheese tteokbokki was exactly what I was hoping for. Chewy rice cakes swimming in a rich, spicy, cheesy sauce that kept me coming back for another bite. The corn cheese deserves its own paragraph because wow... I understand why Korean restaurants serve this. Sweet corn covered in gooey melted cheese is one of those dishes that sounds simple but somehow disappears before you realize it. The fried potstickers rounded everything out nicely and added another crispy bite to the meal. And because apparently we hadn't eaten enough, we finished with Dippin' Dots for dessert. It was such a fun way to end the meal and brought back a little childhood nostalgia. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and the whole spread looked as good as it tasted. This is definitely a place I'll be coming back to whenever the Korean fried chicken craving hits.

The garlic has a little kick to it, while the soy ended up being my favorite. The sauce was savory, slightly sweet, and somehow the wings stayed incredibly crispy even after being coated. Next time I'd love to try the honey soy, and eventually work my way through all of the different flavors. The wings themselves are nice and meaty, so you definitely get your money's worth. We also ordered both the deep-fried gizzard and the stir-fried gizzard. They're completely different dishes, but both were excellent. The stir-fried version comes with jalapeños, garlic, and onions, and it was absolutely delicious. Be warned though--the jalapeños bring some serious heat. If you like spicy food, it's so worth ordering. The deep-fried gizzard was just as good. It comes with a smoky, spicy dipping sauce, but honestly it doesn't even need it because it's flavorful all on its own. My only small complaint is the portion size of the gizzards. They're huge. One order of the deep-fried gizzard is around $24 and could easily be shared by four or five people as an appetizer. For just a couple, I wish they offered a smaller portion at a lower price. After trying the gizzards, I have a feeling the original crispy wings would be delicious even without sauce. That said, the sauces we tried were so flavorful that I'd probably keep ordering them. The soy in particular was outstanding, and I loved that the wings stayed extra crispy from the first bite to the last. We'll definitely be back to try more flavors.

Here you choose your choice of rice cake + spice level and then add whatever toppings you'd like. It already comes preset with a good level of rice cakes, fish cakes, veggies and a boiled egg. I added sausage (+$3.50 for 6 pieces) and jjolmyun noodles (+$3.50). After adding those my total came to $22 for the tteokbokki (base price $15). The sausage I'd get again but the noodles were ehhh. They got soggy kind of quickly so I'll just get regular ramen next time. For type of rice cake just trust me and get the garaetteok!! It's made with rice flour and is the BEEEEST TEXTURE! Plus the name in Korean translates to "grandmas garae tteokbokki" so you have to order what they're known for! It comes in 3 long strips and they have scissors on the side for you to cut it up yourself. The texture is so perfectly soft and chewy. I cannot explain. It is simply the best like frozen regular rice/wheat ones cannot compete. For spice level, level 2 (out of 3) was perfect where it's slightly spicy but it builds the more you eat it and ends at a good medium-high. By the end I was like oooooh it's kicking in. But any less would be too mild and I feel like level 3 it'd be too spicy for me to finish it all and have a good time. Rice balls ($6)-- Comes in a big bowl with a pair of gloves and you mix and make your own rice balls. It's good! Good change of pace from the tteokbokki and helps with spice. It's not the mayo kind, just sesame oil and soy sauce or something but it's still good!! Gimmari ($4.50)-- Kind of tempura, glass noodle wrapped in seaweed. It's good but.... there's only 4 little pieces ????? It's so expensive. Like baby pieces. In comparison that whole rice ball bowl was only $6 so I just can't justify this pricing. Overall the flavor is AMAZINGGGG and price really isn't that bad if you order tteokbokki + rice balls. The fried stuff is expensive. I went on a Saturday the place was full of Korean families so it's like yk.. good sign that the place is good and authentic. They also sell fried chicken but I didn't order any. Parking is easy since there's a huge shared lot.
