Stopped by flashpoint brewery today and had one of the best briskets. It melts in your mouth and is super flavorful. You can tell the owners took their time smoking and making the food. The Mac & cheese was my favorite. Will definitely be ordering again when they return!

Orange Pig is legit the type of food you HOPE to stumble on when you're out at breweries, but almost never do. In a sea of endless loaded tots and sauce soaked fusion this-and-that's served up by 20-something's, people with culinary expertise really stand out. Since our first discovery we don't let more than a week or two pass before we stalk them wherever they area. This is better smoked meat and sides than 99% of the brick and mortar BBQ restaurants out there, but has non of the pretention. They're also the kind of people that are so sweet you wish massive success upon them. Pro tip: don't sleep on the hand made deserts.

We stopped in and the Sunday afternoon at Flashpoint Brewing Company and what can go better with an ice cold beer... bbq. I ordered the barbecue platter which had three meats smoked chicken , prime beef brisket and pulled pork, homemade Mac n cheese. They had this orange habanero jicama slaw. I thought it would be super hot and overpowering but it was really nice combination with the citrus cilantro and habanero. All the food was super tender and you could cut all the meats with a plastic fork. Nachos were really good too.

Unreal catering at my buddy's Super Bowl party by the Orange Park Piggies. They featured a brisket + pulled pork smothered nachos, sourdough brisket melt sandwiches, Mac + cheese topped with pork belly dusted with Cheetos. Don't forget to grab some of their slaw, it's one of the best things I've had in a long time. Their wings were unbelievable, I was blown away with the flavor, and their service at my buddy's event was impeccable. We ordered and they brought it right out to us. I'll be definitely using Chef Michael + his team for our next event!

If there were more stars, we would give them!! Mike and Leslie are incredible. We stumbled across them two months ago and have been following them ever cents. A Texas Twinkie? A brisket taco? Or the loaded nachos... It's hard to know which is the best option so we just order them all. Their food is amazing, the brisket melts in your mouth and they even gave my husband Traeger tips. We love family businesses like this in our thankful that Flashpoint brewing hosts them. It's a wonder duo!

Got to try this food truck at Frisby winery in Rancho Mission Viejo. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned again the following week! I ordered the Prime Brisket Taco for $13. It's a bit pricey and it didn't quite fill me up, so hubby & I ordered a Mac & cheese to split. The brisket was super tender and tasty! I love that they add cheese to the taco. Hubby ordered the pulled pork taco and liked it as well. I also ordered a cornbread muffin with smoked apricot jam. That was just okay. May have been better if it was warmed up. The lady and guy working at the truck were super friendly and customer-service oriented. 5 stars for the service! So I've been going here since it opened and in the beginning it was good for Cali BBQ. Now? This place is amazing and can compete with the Big Boys in Texas. I have been disappointed by every BBQ place I have been in Northern and Southern California, but this place has amazing pork, beef and chicken. The owners are super friendly and down to earth. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu at Orange Pig Smokehouse. I am a big fan of the brisket, and the brisket melt was to die for. The meat is incredible, and the ingredients are always the best. Additionally the slaw was great. So unique, so fantastic. The banana pudding was also amazing, it was so refreshing after eating all the other food. The service here is always the best, and everyone on board is super friendly. Then I get an email from the Angie the director who changed the contract and lied about the drink cost trying to make it seem like she reduced the price, when the price had already been reduced in the original contract. The food was subpar, many complaints from our staff about the quality of the food. It's extremely shady business ethics they have and I would warn anyone from doing business with them! If you are already scheduled, save original copies of the contract as they will try and bait/switch you, then lie about it. Very disappointed overall.

I recently hired Orange Pig Smokehouse to cater for a party I was having Memorial Day Weekend and the food was nothing short of amazing! Mike and his team were able to assist me with setting a menu consisting of pulled pork, brisket, mac and cheese and some additional sides and toppings all of which were absolutely delicious. My guests were left completely full and continuously raved about how good the food was, even asking for contact information to have their own future events catered. I cannot recommend this place enough. You can tell Mike and his team are truly passionate about BBQ and they have an excellent product to show for it. I even pop in from time to time during their multiple pop-ups in the area throughout the week/weekends just to grab a quick bite. +Food showed up warm and ready to eat, prices are very reasonable for meat/quantity, and plenty of options to help you decide on a menu.
