I was very surprised on the day of my birthday that I received a knock on the door. When my friend opened the door, someone from Chico's made a surprise drop of mini cheesecakes to me! And for some reason, there was even a mini Unicorn birthday cheesecake included in the batch! If it weren't for this campaign, I would never have heard of Chico's Cheesecakes. And as promised, here is my review of the cheesecakes. First off, the mini cheesecakes are super cute. In the bag, I found a lot of my favorite flavors (i.e. strawberry and pumpkin). The cheesecakes are delicious - it has a good flavor to it and I can tell they try to use natural ingredients. You can certainly taste the difference. Well I shared the pictures with my family and there are already order requests to bring some home for Thanksgiving. Thank you Chico's for the surprise cheesecakes! Convenient desserts in a jar perfect for parties or gifts! I really enjoyed the cherry cheesecake, the cherries were not overly sweet and the cheesecake was very dense! A great combo. I would love to try the other flavors especially the key lime pie which looks delicious. I think these would be perfect at bridal parties or baby showers! There are so many flavors to choose from. I got the chance to try Chico's via a Yelp event and as soon as I saw their menu I knew I needed to partake in a few additional flavors. I was not disappointed! I tried the Graham cracker crumble, Turtle, strawberry shortcake and Oreo. I also got the Unicorn but haven't tried it yet because it's for the event. Either way, these are perfect little bites if you just can't make up your mind or need individual desserts. In these COVID times, they're an excellent option for all occasions. The graham cracker crust could have a bit more butter (I love a dense crust), but overall these are very yummy. The delivery was fast and efficient and communication was great. read more

I was lucky enough to receive a cheesecake in a jar because of a Yelp Elite perk and it is one of the best cheesecakes that I have had! I love that it came in a little jar that is a very cute and convenient way to store it and it is also perfect for reusing so extra points for sustainability! It was the perfect portion of cheesecake - enough to satisfy but not so much that you're uncomfortable after eating the whole thing. I got the turtle cheesecake and it was absolutely delicious. The proportions were perfect and my favorite part about it was that it wasn't too sweet. Even with the graham cracker crust and the chocolate on top, it didn't taste overly sweet which is something that really turns me off from a lot of cheesecakes.
