We were driving thru Benton Harbor and saw this cute winery online so we decided to stop in since it was a rainy afternoon. We were greeted by Jessica who was super nice. We did a flight of reds along with a Caramel Apple cider. We also ordered their whitefish dip (GF). She was so nice she bought my wife crackers and veggies since she's GF and a basket of regular crackers for me. The wines were very good as was the cider. We loved Third Times a Charm which was a red blend. We bought a bottle even tho it was pricey..39.00. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as live entertainment and food specials on certain nights of the week. Check their website for more details. A new to us winery in the Coloma/Patton Harbor area. The space itself is gorgeous. It's overlooking hills and vineyards, it has a massive patio. There's also plenty of indoor seating if the weather takes a turn. The wine was good. It did not stand out above other places places I've been to in the area, but I would definitely drink it again. My biggest complaint would've been that they had music playing on the speakers that was so loud we could hardly hear ourselves, even though we were sitting the furthest away from it. They were having a band coming in later, which is a great idea. But if it's not live music, why on earth would you have the music so loud. I hope that it is quieter next time we visit (which we will do again). Not really the atmosphere to sample wind in. I also wish the staff was a little more helpful at wines. No wineries is good at everything, so I like to ask what they do best or what they recommend. The person pouring just responded that everything was great, which isn't super helpful. This is such a cute vineyard and the service was excellent! We shared the Whitefish dip and our server brought out some celery and gluten free chips for me in a separate basket which was much appreciated. Just got done eating at this beautiful vineyard and having a flight of wine. Very nicely done huge outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard. Great food, music in the evenings which would be a lot of fun. You should try it. Prices are reasonable. read more

This was one of our stops for wine tour. They were able to accommodate our very large group which was great. Our group had over 20 people. The ladies explain everything they also offer food. I want to say the tasting was about 14 or $15 for four drinks. I'm unsure of the exact price since we did have a very large group and gratuity was added. You have the option of receiving sweet dry, or half sweet/dry, or slushy versus cider. The ladies that his sister us was very great and explained everything. Service was fast even with the food. I just would've like if we were able to pick any of it 4 drinks from the groups instead of just isolated to 1 group. Stopped by Vineyard 2121 on a Sunday and was happy to see they were open at 11am! This spot offers a little bit of everything with wine, cider, beer, cocktails, snacks, wood-fire pizza on top of events & live music nights. The inside was very spacious but their patio overlooking the vines was pretty. It was $15 for 4 tastings but they were served as a flight so one could sit outside and enjoy. We're from Georgia, heading to Mackinac Island. This looks yo be working toward--and largely there--to be a big winery. Like we're used to being "bus ready" for the weekend. Service awesome. Ambiance as well. I got them ham and cheese croissant not a big fan because the ham is real thick sliced and the croissants weren't soft or warm which would've made it much better. They do have woodfired pizzas and I'm sure when they have that on the weekend it's awesome but today is not the weekend. But a case at 25% off and a bottle of vodka to take home. After I started this review, I got to talk to the owner. He came out was so friendly! Such a sweet man and the lady working there was just as sweet. Stop #4 on our sister wine tour was Vineyard 2121... and we came for the wine slushies! They feature four flavors a day, and we were EXCITED. We did a combo of regular wine and slushIes, and thought they were all really great! Our favorite slushies from most to least was mango pina colada, lime, peach and then cherry. Tastings are a little more expensive at $15 for four glasses, but they are VERY filled and can easily be called 1/2-3/4 of a serving each. Service was great, and at this tasting there is actually seating available, which was such a treat after standing all day! Even though it was the priciest of all of our stops, I think it was the cherry on top of a great day, and would highly suggest ending your tour here as well! read more

We stopped in here for a wine tasting. It was not disappointed! Riley was very cheerful and helpful. The wine was delicious and we sat outside and enjoy the view and listen to some music. However, we ordered a charcuterie board and that was a joke. For $19 I expected a nice spread. However, There were four bite-size pieces of ham and three little cheddar cheese wedges, there were spicy mustard and some other kind of spread that was good and then six long skinny cheese wrapped up in different kinds of meat and a little tiny thing of pickles.It said it came with fruit and chocolate. There was one sliced up strawberry !! I had to ask for the "starch" which a server did bring out. It did not come with any chocolate that it said on the menu but I didn't think about that until we had left. It was NOT worth $19 and was very disappointing. Came here not long ago for a bachelorette party outing. The charcuterie and wine was fine. We were told that you have to pay $10 to go outside where there was probably much more space as well as live music. That was disappointing--since we only had about an hour to be there before our dinner reservations, it wasn't worthwhile to pay the $10 to sit outside. Imagine non-wine drinkers liking this place!! They have a great selection of cider beers, alcoholic slushees, fancy cocktails and a few assorted beers for the people who don't want wine :). They also serve food, though a fairly limited selection. We went on a Friday for the wood fired pizzas. They were quite tasty but a bit pricey for a 12" pizza. But, the views are beautiful- the outside patio with fire pits is very nice. It was karaoke night but we've been there before for other entertainment which was very enjoyable. Love this winery! We've been going for years and they just keep improving! We love the wine flights as you can get more than wine. They also offer slushees and ciders in the flights and everything is DELICIOUS! The food has always been good here as well. We recently tried their Sunday Bloody Mary bar and found them very tasty! Vineyard 2121 has recently made their own vodka from grapes that boosted our bloody Mary's to the next level. We also ordered a Ham & Cran panini that was amazing! The service is always great and friendly! The ambience is great as well! They have a new extension of their patio with a full stage for live music. We will definitely be back more often!! read more

Not bad that they offer food and wine, however I wasn't super impressed with either. I got a French onion soup, but it took me a few minutes to even find the cheese in it. I decided to wait a few days before writing this review since the experience I had at Vinyard 2121 was so upsetting and I needed to really process what went down. My spouse and I have been going to this winery for a few years now. Up until this point, it's been our go to and we've brought family and friends here whenever they come to visit. We recently started bringing our Golden Retriever so she can enjoy the people and the patio. This weekend, we brought two friends from out of town and their two children for their wood fired pizzas. As kids can be, they were excited about the music and wanted to wonder a bit. They got out of our sight and the male owner came up to us and asked that they be kept within arms reach. Totally acceptable. It's their property and we should have kept a better watch on them. My spouse stayed with the kids while they explored the property and got too close to what was described as "very sharp" rocks. Why "very sharp rocks" are left out in public is beyond me but we did have someone watching the kids at all times after we were warned. This is when things got really ugly and really public. The male owner who was extremely intoxicated (similar experience described in other reviews) came over and herded us out of the winery. He didn't politely ask us to leave, he proceeded to berate us in front of the entire patio of guests. "Get out! You're done! You're not welcome here! Pack up your stuff and get out of here!" Once inside, he continued his antics; telling my friend that she clearly didn't read the 'expletive' child policy and yelling at one of the nice ladies behind the counter not to let any more 'expletive' kids in there. He also accused my friend of either bringing in outside alcohol or stealing drinks that we were not allowed to finish in her water bottle. It was such a pointless argument. My friend had to offer for him to smell the water before he dropped it. I wish that was all. He told my spouse and our friend that there were other wineries for people to go to "like us". My spouse and I are a liberal, married, gay couple. He also, for absolutely no reason at all, brought politics into this spectacle by suggesting that my friend "must have voted for Biden". It's really such a shame. This was, absolutely, our favorite place to go to since moving to the area. We left so sickened by this interaction that, not only will we never be coming back, but we'll do whatever we can to help people understand how terrible this owner is. We had brought our growler in with us to get refilled with their cherry cider. We were so angry and upset by how we were treated that my spouse returned the growler to the owner who was watching us from the main entrance until we left the premises. We were so disgusted by the way we were treated that we didn't want it in our house. Look, I get that our friends' kids may have gotten out of line and they needed to do a better job at listening to us. We totally accept that but what I cannot accept is how terrible an owner could treat their guests, some who were loyal for years, and in front of everyone as though he enjoyed the show he was putting on for everyone. It became clear that he's designing a space that's only accommodating to people that he relates to, that share his same political and social views. When we left, the nice lady who checked us out quietly mouthed "I'm really sorry..." I've recently read that he fired a team member for Tweeting that this owner would not let her wear a BLM mask during the pandemic. If it was due to keeping politics out of the workplace, he proved tonight that this was not the case. There are numerous reviews about how this owner has treated guests, most of them locals. He should not be a business owner. He doesn't know how to handle guests tactfully when something goes awry. He'd rather get drunk with his patron friends and bully guests who don't stand for what he stands for. He has a history of discrediting these reviews. We have witnesses that will prove him otherwise. read more
