Chihuahua is my favorite restaurant! The staff is super friendly and the food is super yummy! I love the burritos, but the fajitas and enchiladas are great too, and they have a wonderful salmon dish! **Delivery Review** Trying another Mexican restaurant through delivery on Uber Eats. Great selection on the menu with fantastic reviews, so had to give it a shot. Between two people, ordered the Pulled Pork Torta ($12), Guacamole ($17), and Chile Relleno ($17). Torta is your basic sandwich - layered with pork, tomato, lettuce, avocado, and sauce. Meat is marinated well, and the avocado/tomatoes are ripe. Toasted bread out the whole thing together. Guacamole is chunky and served alongside thick-cut tortilla chips. Could have used more spice and salt, but otherwise good. Chile Relleno is a full entree with a stuffed pepper, tangy sauce, and rice/beans. Delivery was fine, took a little longer than expected but not on the restaurant. Would like to try in person. read more

No stars for food, 5 stars for service but I'm going to average it with a 2. The nachos are not your typical nachos. Each chip had toppings on it as opposed to a whole plate of traditional nachos. This meant I couldn't eat them since I don't eat beef. Usually I can just eat around or under but nope. My mom didn't like them but my uncle ate them. He said they weren't horrible. The guacamole had so much lime juice it was inedible. I got the shrimp Diablo and it was some of the weirdest tasting shrimp I've ever had. My mom had the garlic shrimp and her shrimp tasted even worse to me. I never like to send food back. Id rather pay for my meal and get something to eat after but my mom asked if I could send it back and get something else. What a hidden gem ! I almost didn't want to share this place with the world because it's that good , but they totally deserve the recognition. I've been coming here for a while and everything is fresh and delicious- authentic Mexican food! I typically have their ceviche , pomegranate guacamole ( yes pomegranate, thank me later ) , their beef or carnitas tacos ( you can mix and match up to 3) and their flan (all featured in the pics) . This place was ho hum. Nothing to write home to Cancun about Appetizers: Nachos with beef were ok. Guacamole was under seasoned Nacho chips were nice and crispy. Main dishes: Quesadilla was purportedly good (friend ordered it). The problem was my dish. I ordered the mixed meat platter. Chorizo was good, chicken was good but the steak was rubbery and too well done (I asked for medium). I sent it back. It came back undercooked the second time. I sent it back AGAIN. It came back too well down and loaded with salt! Anyway, the chef should stick to me is a cuisine. He is bad at steak which is really an art form. I consider myself a steak connoisseur having frequented Lugers, S&M, Bobby Van's, Quality Meats, amongst other (best steak is still in Texas, sorry NY). Drink were ok. A little too sweet for my taste (more of a single malt and beer kind of guy). They gave us complementary coconut margaritas and banana tequila shots hi hi was very nice. I went with my beautiful wife and two of her friends. The eBay part of the night was the service. The girls were incredible hospitable and nice. I've only been here once, but I get the feeling that this is a solid, neighborhood staple. Me and my friends tried burritos, quesadillas, soup, and a mole chicken dish. We also had chips and guac for an appetizer. Everything is delicious and fresh. Portions are generous, and the prices are great for a sit-in restaurant. We also loved the service and vibrant decor. While I chatted with my friend and waited for our order they brought us some complimentary chips. they didn't come with regular salsa but some warm brown dip, not sure what it was but it was delicious. Soon our meal came and my tacos were great, since I wasn't super hungry I didn't finish them and took the rest home. I was shocked how good they tasted a day later being reheated in the microwave. Came in on a Tuesday night and it was pretty empty. The place itself is very clean and I enjoyed the romantic atmosphere/decoration. The waiters were very nice and friendly. Came here on Saturday night with my boyfriend, it wasnt to crowded so our host sat us right away. We ordered and received some sort of warm sauce and chips. I didnt care for whatever the sauce was but the chips were really good. I ordered the margarita and my boyfriend had a long island tea. The drinks were good pretty average. For my entree I had three different varieties of their tacos. One was pork and the other two steak, it was really good and moist I believe the pork also had pineapple. My boyfriend had the steak fajitas with came with rice, black beans and tortillas, he isnt very picky so I'll speak for him and say he enjoyed it.
