    Homemade chicken empanadas (3)

Great place in Sunnyside. The food was fresh and came out hot. They make their chicken empanadas in house and they were delicious. My friends liked their tacos and the guac was excellent. I really liked my passionfruit marg. The service here is incredibly attentive. The ambiance is lively here. Would definitely come back again.

**Delivery Review** Trying another Mexican restaurant through delivery on Uber Eats. Great selection on the menu with fantastic reviews, so had to give it a shot. Between two people, ordered the Pulled Pork Torta ($12), Guacamole ($17), and Chile Relleno ($17). Torta is your basic sandwich - layered with pork, tomato, lettuce, avocado, and sauce. Meat is marinated well, and the avocado/tomatoes are ripe. Toasted bread out the whole thing together. Guacamole is chunky and served alongside thick-cut tortilla chips. Could have used more spice and salt, but otherwise good. Chile Relleno is a full entree with a stuffed pepper, tangy sauce, and rice/beans. Delivery was fine, took a little longer than expected but not on the restaurant. Would like to try in person.

No stars for food, 5 stars for service but I'm going to average it with a 2. The nachos are not your typical nachos. Each chip had toppings on it as opposed to a whole plate of traditional nachos. This meant I couldn't eat them since I don't eat beef. Usually I can just eat around or under but nope. My mom didn't like them but my uncle ate them. He said they weren't horrible. The guacamole had so much lime juice it was inedible. I got the shrimp Diablo and it was some of the weirdest tasting shrimp I've ever had. My mom had the garlic shrimp and her shrimp tasted even worse to me. I never like to send food back. Id rather pay for my meal and get something to eat after but my mom asked if I could send it back and get something else. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating they gave me new food right away and came to check if it was better.

What a hidden gem ! I almost didn't want to share this place with the world because it's that good , but they totally deserve the recognition. I've been coming here for a while and everything is fresh and delicious- authentic Mexican food! I typically have their ceviche , pomegranate guacamole ( yes pomegranate, thank me later ) , their beef or carnitas tacos ( you can mix and match up to 3) and their flan (all featured in the pics) . To drink I have their tamarind frozen margarita. I love the food , their warm service and the fact that it's a low key spot . I'm already counting the days to go back .

This place was ho hum. Nothing to write home to Cancun about Appetizers: Nachos with beef were ok. Guacamole was under seasoned Nacho chips were nice and crispy. Main dishes: Quesadilla was purportedly good (friend ordered it). The problem was my dish. I ordered the mixed meat platter. Chorizo was good, chicken was good but the steak was rubbery and too well done (I asked for medium). I sent it back. It came back undercooked the second time. I sent it back AGAIN. It came back too well down and loaded with salt! Anyway, the chef should stick to me is a cuisine. He is bad at steak which is really an art form. I consider myself a steak connoisseur having frequented Lugers, S&M, Bobby Van's, Quality Meats, amongst other (best steak is still in Texas, sorry NY). Drink were ok. A little too sweet for my taste (more of a single malt and beer kind of guy). They gave us complementary coconut margaritas and banana tequila shots hi hi was very nice. I went with my beautiful wife and two of her friends. The eBay part of the night was the service. The girls were incredible hospitable and nice. For four people, the bill came out to about $300 including rip, which is RIDICULOUSLY expensive for this part of town. Over the top actually. Not sure if I would go again a s there are better Mexican palace in town (and I've been to many!!!!!)

Best tacos in the world right next to my house!! Their chief deserves food Oscar! Huge in size the best ever in taste, 100% recommended! My new fav spot

Fresh Guacamole. It's delicious. No knead makes it as good as they do. And the price is right

Obsessed with this gem! I literally go once a week. It's so authentic, great prices and AMAZING service. I am so happy to have this in my community . You will not be disappointed! Please go here. Our fave menu items are the tortas, tacos, quesadillas. Very Authentic Mexican cuisine made with love

I miss the old Bliss Street Station bar but Chihuahua is fantastic. I ordered the mixed plate (chicken, steak and chorizo with rice and beans) came out sizzling. Probably the best thing I've eaten in a restaurant this year. Margaritas? Spicy and heavy poured. Lovely staff for even a Tuesday afternoon. Wifey had the vegetarian enchiladas. Everything was fresh. No canned mushrooms. The real deal. Come have that fiesta.

Do yourself a favor and order the Chorizo Tacos. Tasty, well seasoned and just enough to fill your hunger. We also had the Elote Appetizer, which was equally good. Definitely coming back for more!

Food here is amazing. Service is great the only downside to me was the quantity of food they definitely could serve bigger portions.

Chihuahua is the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant... I don't live in Sunnyside but I'd visit just for their food.

It ended up being the best decision we made all night. Emily, our server, was nice, attentive, and took great care of us. The food was just as fresh and delicious as at the taco stand at the QNM. The purple corn tortillas were incredible, the chicken was hot, juicy, and flavorful, the steak was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the mushroom taco. The restaurant has a fun, authentic Mexican vibe with colorful décor, a great playlist that really adds to the atmosphere, and it's honestly a cute spot if you want to snap a few photos. Everything was made fresh, and we'll definitely be back!

Also, the fryin cheese did not suit the soup at all- Oaxaca cheese tastes so much better with this type of soup & this is the only Mexican spot I know that uses something other than Oaxaca cheese. Needless to say, it did not work & rubbery cheese in soup is not it. I thought that maybe the soup from this place was a one off so I also ordered a couple tamales from here on a separate occasion as well. Unfortunately it was not a one off as the tamales were super dry & almost inedible because of that. I won't be returning back. Tamales super dry

Pretty much any and everything here is a hit so depending on your level of hunger the tacos, a sandwich, burrito, quesadilla, or nachos all make for good options. I'm a big fan of the alambre sandwich generously filled with chicken, al pastor, steak, green pepper, onions, and cheese and topped with chipotle mayo, avocado, and lettuce and the steak burrito smelled so good that I couldn't wait to get home and start on it so I took Queens Blvd all the way home and couldn't wait for red lights so I could savor another bite.
