When it comes to service, this place really outdid itself! We had a large group for a birthday celebration and the staff was very accommodating to our table, and our server was great! I got the quarter chicken (dark) with two sides. Yucca wasn't the best but the chicken was very good! There was a DJ playing music and after our group ate, we all stood up and went to the "dance floor" and started dancing and just having a great time listening to Spanish music. The dj dropped off cards at everyone's table and you're able to make song requests as well Honestly a new experience for me when it comes to being in a latin restaurant like this and I would recommend. I ordered take out from here, and it was amazing! I went during noon so it wasn't too busy and I was attended fairly quickly. They have plenty of tables and even a stage for a live band/karaoke (pretty sure they have event nights!) They have a wide selection of Peruvian dishes which was really nice. I asked the server for some suggestions and ultimately decided on getting the fried fish fillet. For the price, it is definitely worth it because it was big and filling. I ended up having leftovers for dinner too. The fish was fried perfectly and the French fries were not too hard or soft! Their sauces are a must try, they complement any food perfectly. They have a full bar and can accommodate private events. I ate here for a private event where there was live music, and it was very professional and fun! Amazing service and even more amazing food! In my opinion, they have the best huancaina in the DMV (after my dad). Their lomo saltado is SOOOOO good, the meat is perfect every time-- so flavorful and tender. Their chicha morass is the drink I recommend best, last time we didn't love the maracuya but the food way more than made up for it. Can't wait to try their pollo a la brasa soon! read more

We've been here a handful of times since my last review and they definitely improved. We have tried tons of plates from here and they never disappoint. Today is Valentine's Day and my boyfriend and family were planning to have dinner at home. They made my boyfriend wait for 20 mins when I placed a pickup order for a whole chicken. Someone came out and told him they're working on the order. Time passes and they come out and say they ran out and someone should've called to let me know sooner. I called the location and spoke to three different people and each of them were rude. Finally, the manager Díaz said he'd refund the order and didn't offer anything else. What's the point of calling ahead to make an order when it just takes more time and eventually you don't even get your item. This was my first time ordering at this restaurant and I will never again order. I didn't my order at the end, no offer to make it right or to get something different, and on top of that all three people I spoke to on the phone were rude. If it's a special day like Valentines, do not go here. They are not organized and they will mess it up somehow and not do anything to make it right. read more

I've been here a few times thinking that the service has become better but no it's still the same. You will wait forever just to get a drink and food. They had a private event where they had a live rock band, so I understand that they were busy and the cooks were busy as well. I did ask for the 1/4 chicken but the waitress said they ran out of chicken around 9 PM. I tried to ask for Chilcanos Sandwich ( but they were out of chicken so no sandwich ). The food came out fast but it was plain and simple, like my love life. I added the spicy Verde sauce to my meal and it increased in flavor. I want to say the best thing I had was the Ceviche mixto. Horchata was on point too. They have outdoor and in door seating with a patio. I will give it another shot maybe when they aren't hosting an event. As soon we arrived, this establishment was full and thought this place would be great for a father's day dinner. The wait was as expected. Not too bad. There was a couple of people ahead of us. They were advised that a table for 2 was not available. We were 4 & a table was available for us shortly after and we were waved to the table. The Maracuya sour was also pretty good, I wouldn't recommend the alfajores though, there was definitely something missing from the recipe I grew up with. I know the times are tough and they are trying their hardest, but hopefully they are able to hire more staff to reduce the waiting time for the meal, we've been here twice and unfortunately nothing changed about it. Terrible. I'm Vietnamese. I walked in to grab a takeout order--1/4 chicken dark, yuca, and beans and rice. Maybe it was because they were not used to Asian clientele, or maybe it was because this is how they normally operate--I was given 1/4 chicken breast, JUST beans, and old yuca in an only partially filled takeout tray. The man who took my order smiled at me as he took my order--I even tipped 20%--and doubly smiled at me, super amused, when I returned to get a refund. If you are not Peruvian or don't speak Spanish, expect to be treated "less than." Better off to go to Crisp and Juicy, larger portions, cheaper, and experience with diverse clientele. read more

From appetizers such as leche de tigre, ceviche pescado, tamales de pollo, chicharron de calamar, and anticuchos. O was very hopeful for this place, it turned to be a HUGE disappointment, we waited close to an hour for our food which was not what we expected for the overpriced dishes and drinks. We order seafood which rates old and frozen, way too much salt, soy sauce and swimming in oil. It was so gross that we couldn't even finished our plates. Service was a disappointment as well, our server didn't even check on us to see if everything was ok, we had to go to the counter to ask for our bill and pay so we could get the heck out of there.
