I will write a full review shortly. Do not listen to the Bougie people who visited prior, without ever considering what the restaurant establishment. This place has great food, and provides a relaxing and pleasant experience.

Excellent, flavorful food! It's an upscale, but casual, dining experience. There is also outdoor seating. Great for a date night or romantic evening. They have a full bar and can accommodate private events. I ate here for a private event where there was live music, and it was very professional and fun! I highly recommend the Lomo Saltado (beef and vegetable stir fry with a side of fries or the Ceviche Mixto. The beef was cooked and seasoned perfectly! It made me wanting more. The food tasted authentic! We will definitely visit again!

Have returned after my last let down and it looks as if some major turn arounds were done to this place. Service and food is much better!

I like bringing my family and enjoy some Peruvian food. The service is a hit or miss, on their busy days service can be a bit slow and they do get busy fast as is a small place, but worth the wait! Food is delicious

Delicious Peruvian Pollo a la Brasa

Finally Pollo a la brasa like in Peru. The unique Peruvian seasoning and the freshness of the chicken. Thank you!!!! The fries and the salad just made me feel back in Peru.

Where do I start..... I feel like we came at a wrong time they had a busy night so I'll give layaway to my review. They had a private event where they had a live rock band, so I understand that they were busy and the cooks were busy as well. I did ask for the 1/4 chicken but the waitress said they ran out of chicken around 9 PM. I tried to ask for Chilcanos Sandwich ( but they were out of chicken so no sandwich ). The food came out fast but it was plain and simple, like my love life. I added the spicy Verde sauce to my meal and it increased in flavor. I want to say the best thing I had was the Ceviche mixto. Horchata was on point too. They have outdoor and in door seating with a patio. I will give it another shot maybe when they aren't hosting an event. We were badly waited on but I understand because they needed them inside for the event. 6.5/10.

Though what I really like about the place changed. When I first went all they offered was Chicken, Cole slaw, and fries. In a world of many option I actually thought this sent a message that we are so good we only offer a limited choice that's you will enjoy. Tbf the fries can't compete w McD or Chikfila Waffle fries but they were good. The service counter is modernized and they are efficient and friendly. The layout if the restaurant is still basic like the limited menu they used to have. No frills no gimmicks just good food. Still the same vibe The chicken was still very good. Other places are fairly close but Apollo Rico is just a touch better. The charred seasoning is evident. What tipped the scales for me in comparison to other places I've been is the green sauce. It liked fresh. It wasnt like other places where that has the consistency of ketchup it looked bright green and freshly made vs other places where it seems as if it was poured out a container.

We ordered a half chicken with yuca and beans as the sides. It was very quick, we got our food within seconds it felt like. The chicken was probably the most flavorful kind of Pollo a la Brasa that I have had. It wasn't too greasy either. Just very tasty. The beans were delicious!! I didn't think I would like them as much. The yuca was pretty good too. Nice and crispy. I do wish they had slightly more options for sides, maybe even an Arroz Chaufa. This is a no frills kinda place so don't expect anything too fancy. But it is clean! And that's what makes it more authentic and fun in my opinion! Will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Actually, the toughest part was fasting for 12 hours. After so much rest and a haircut, my hunger got the best of me. In addition to the delicious food I treated myself to a double Pisco Sour. Avoid the temptation to have a second unless you are being chauffeured home. I arrived at 5, a little early, and took a table. I waited quite a while and finally had to get up and find a waitress to ask for a menu. I ordered two appetizers and a main along with my double Pisco. Because the kitchen was not busy everything arrived at once. The Tiradito Al Olivo was excellent with the octopus chewy and fresh and the black olive foam tart and sweet reminiscent of a creamy blueberry yogurt. My favorite app though is Papa à la Huancaina. Who would believe a simple thick sliced steamed potato could be so delicious? The Lomo Saltado was the best I've have anywhere, even cold, with the beef so flavorful and tender you could consider your teeth optional. I highly recommend this place, but don't take a seat in the back.

I go my favorite, the aji de gallena and my friends got the octopus and arroz con mariscos. The food came very quickly and everything was great. The manager even came up to us and offered me some extra sauces when I asked for hot sauces. Definitely asked for the red, green and yellow sauce on the side. The ambiance is great. It's a huge place but can be slightly loud, although it could be the vibe of the place. We came on a randomly warm day in March so we sat outside.
