Look no further. Trust me…read more I have been to dental offices all over the U.S. I have poured so much money into my dental work, only to watch my teeth go one by one. For reference, I had a spot in my mouth that no matter what I did, the dental work kept failing, and no one could figure out why. I was temporarily living in Delray and went to Spodak for a cleaning. The office was incredibly modern and had every specialty under one roof. I haven't been able to find anything like that anywhere else. Dr. Spodak, who is the patriarch of the practice, came in and he was so warm and comforting. He had a terrific bedside manner. He looked at me and said, "You don't have bad teeth. You probably do your dental work all at once, and they offer to do the left side and then the right side." I nodded. For the first time, I felt truly seen in a dental chair. He explained that all of the dental work had caused my bite to become off and told me, essentially, that if we started then, he believed he could save my teeth. If we didn't, I would likely continue losing the other side. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money at that point. I asked if I could at least get a bite guard. He told me that it wasn't going to solve the problem. That might sound like a small thing, but to me it said everything about their integrity. They knew a bite guard was all I could afford, and instead of bringing me in and charging me $500 for something they didn't believe would actually help, they were honest with me. I eventually moved to Arizona. When I finally did have the money to address my teeth, I couldn't find one dentist here who could help me or, more importantly, really listen to what I was saying. They offered bite guards. They told me to brush and floss more. I am not joking when I say I have seen more than 30 general dentists and specialists combined. And through all of that, I kept coming back to the same thing: this wasn't simply a brushing-and-flossing problem. My bite was the problem. Out of all of those providers, Dr. Spodak was the only one who ever talked to me about actually trying to prevent further damage and save my teeth. Sometimes I honestly feel like dentistry has become more focused on fixing problems once they happen rather than figuring out how to prevent them in the first place. If I could go back, I would have stayed in Delray and continued seeing Dr. Spodak. I am seriously considering flying back there just for a visit.

I had braces removed a few years ago, so I found that kind of ridiculous. They also tried selling me on a root canal that my insurance wouldn't cover at their office. When I mentioned that I was going to get a second opinion and I would find somewhere my insurance covered, the sales lady said something to the effect of, "oh but be reallllyyy careful, not everyone does those types of procedures correctly and could damage it further", essentially using scare tactics to try to get me to book it through them right then and there. (News flash- second opinion said everything was fine). So I left feeling a little weird about this place, but I thought maybe my next cleaning in 6 months would be better and more streamlined/less sales-y. I set my next cleaning appointment for today at 11am. I have a text I replied and confirmed to for my appointment at 11am today. I took off work for 11am today for this appointment. At 8:09am I get a text asking if I'm on my way to my appointment at 8:00. I call the office and say that's weird, maybe they contacted the wrong patient because I'm staring at a text that says 11am. The woman on the phone tells me someone called me Tuesday and asked if I could change it to 8am and that the appointment is now already considered a cancellation and they can't see me at 11 either. I know that's not true, but I scroll through my call log anyway just to make sure I'm not going crazy, and confirmed I have no calls from spodak dental. They offered to see me at 3:00 instead. I reiterate that I took off work for 11am today so that isn't possible. If you're looking for a cut and dry dentist to give you an honest service, have you in and out of there, and not sell you on glitz and glam, fancy espresso machine in the lobby, shiny new state of the art equipment, and an office that can only be described as a resort lobby, this is not the place. The evaluation was efficient and comprehensive. More importantly, there was no effort to upsell me. Despite the effort of my previous dentist to convince me that several procedures were necessary. Interestingly Doctor Hermon, noticed every situation that my previous dentist had had declared to be in need of immediate repair, but he simply suggested that "we keep an eye on this."

The most honest and efficient Dentist's office I have ever visited!…read more I've lived in 3 states over the past 10 years where I've needed to find a new dentist. I've probably been to 7 or 8 different offices. By far, Greenberg Dental in Delray Beach blows them all away. Beginning with the nice lady at the desk, the first line of communication between the customer and the business, I waited maybe 5 minutes (I was completing my medical history during this time, so there really was no wait) and I was taken back to my chair to have the replacement of 2 crowns evaluated. My 4 front teeth are crowns, however, I only needed my 2 front teeth crowns replaced based upon their age and discoloring. I went to 4 other dentists in the Delray Beach area and each one tried to get me to either replace 3 of the 4 or all 4 to jack up the costs (by thousands of dollars). It was obvious this is what they were doing because I could see as plain as day, due to the faded coloring, that I only needed 2. All of the teeth were fine and healthy. This group never even implied that I needed more than the 2 replaced, they agreed, and we proceeded. We scheduled my next visit to get the temporary crowns while the new ones were being made and I was dreading this because across all the other crowns that I have gotten over 30 years - especially my 4 teeth in the front - the temporaries never match the color and I look stupid for 2 weeks while the real ones are being made. When I went in for the temps, Greenberg went the extra mile - at no additional cost - and matched the temporaries! This was HUGE because previously the color difference in my teeth had been so noticeable and distracting that I would have to shy away from meetings or Zooms for 2 weeks until the permanents came in. The temps went in without a hitch, I was there for maybe a 1/2 hour total which NEVER happens at the dentist and I was on my way. I was able to do meetings and Zooms because the temps matched perfectly. Not two weeks later, but one week later, the office calls and says the permanents are in and I could go in early to have them affixed. I went in 2 days later (based upon my schedule) and we were done! The teeth look amazing, they match perfectly - not just the color but the actual material for the type of porcelain crown so the density and overall look matches as well. An incredible job, I am switching dentists to Greenberg as they are very honest, responsive and incredibly proficient.

I am a former peace corps volunteer so to be in the government and abroad, you had to have no dental issues. So I have fillings and crowns that were 30 + years old! Over the past few years they have done my basic cleanings etc and updated my old silver mercury fillings. BUT I had a few dental emergencies and they took care of me and fixed the problems! Today on a Friday 1/3/25 @230 pm, I had a dental emergency and they took care of me and treated me with the care and concern of a small town doctor! (Being a repeat "client" probably helped) I ended up having to have one of my bottom teeth extracted as the old filling gave out! Of course they gave me all of the replacement options but I declined.
