So ended up at Chili's --for Friday eve happy hour prior to hitting the sofa at home---just to chat with the husband and enjoy a snack---We sat at the bar--our bartender was fun, friendly, and just a nice guy....My lil' Ginger drink was prepared with care and also my vodka crans were served with a lime without me even asking---I love that....My husband was very pleased with his house rita also.... Appetizers were 5.00 so we decided on southwest egg rolls and nachos with chicken. The Nachos come out similar to a tostada or open faced quesadilla---every chip has cheese chicken and been and is slightly toasted/broiled so they are good and gooey...We were happy.. All of these companies enforcing all of these Covid restrictions for "health" reasons is completely ridiculous , they need to take a good hard look around at their establishments. The tables are filthy, the amount of crud embedded in the grout lines on the tables is disgusting (see picture), the floor were filthy and sticky and I was here for lunch can't imagine what it'll be like during dinner. The ceiling is grease covered in the restaurant around the heat duct diffusers. Very dirty place , but they are observing Covid suggestions so they can't be all bad...right??? The service was great, the food was just OK. Don't get a steak. It was way overcooked, even the server knew it when they served it. He was super nice about it, but I was hungry and didn't want to wait for a replacement. The sides were good. While service is important, we don't go to a restaurant for the service, you go for the food. I won't be rushing back anytime soon. read more

Had a bad experience last night. A group of 8 of us left a funeral to get something to eat and saw Chili's was open until 10pm. We sat by the bar and ordered appetizers, entrees, deserts and drinks and finished our food but 3 of our group continued to order drinks and all of us stayed to talk (worth mentioning NONE OF US were drunk). We tipped the waiter handsomely and about 9:15 we paid our check and prepared to leave but ended up staying another 10 minutes talking when the waiter came up behind my sister in law about 12" from the back of her head and very passive aggressively and loudly said, "BYE! HAVE A NICE NIGHT! BYE! SEE YOU LATER!!! BYE!!!" While this may not seem like the worse thing for a waiter to do, his manner was not polite or nice at all. It was a clear message that he wanted to go home early and apparently we were in his way. Then another woman came behind the other side of the table clapping her hands repeatedly right behind other members of our groups' heads as she walked by. The whole thing was just very aggressive and rude. It was completely uncalled for and probably the worst behavior I have ever seen from a wait staff. The place was not scheduled to close for another 30 minutes and it was very clear we were wrapping it up. I will never go back to this location! read more

My fiancé and I came to the bar on 11/23, around 730 pm to watch the game, have some drinks, and some appetizers. I would NOT recommend going to this bar, not because the drinks or food looked bad, but because of the service. The bartender was very rude and pushy, and the bar was not that busy. We sat down my fiancé ordered a margarita and I told the bartender I was still deciding. I asked him to change a tv to the game we came to watch and he was not very accommodating. He had a major attitude along with obvious annoyance towards me for asking him to change a tv and for not knowing what I wanted to drink right away. So I had my fiancé finish her drink and we headed right next door to Texas Roadhouse where the service was awesome and friendly. I have always been a fan of Chili's Bar and Grill as it has a pretty cool atmosphere, decent food, no wait, good service, and great Queso. They recently added a deal for two meals and an appetizer for $20. I don't know too many places you can go on a "date" and get two meals for $20. The wife and I also will occasionally call in an order and pick it up which is awesome because you can give a vehicle description and then you don't even need to get out of the car! I will say Chili's is a chain restaurant so that detracts from it a bit, but food is good, prices are reasonable (or cheap if you use a deal) and the service is usually really good. read more

We just ate at Chili's in Arnold an d were pleased to find it was the first day for their frequent diner program which offers a free bowl of chips and homemade salsa. In addition to that you receive points for your meal which I presume can be redeemed after a certain total is reached. I ordered the chicken fajitas which were fantastic. The plates that were filled with all the various toppings were scattered across the entire table. My wife had the enchiladas and they were outstanding also. I know, I know - why bother reviewing a chain restaurant. But bare with me. I'm reviewing for those of us that don't always have a Benjamin and a half lying around to head to finer fare! For those of us only holding Mr. Jackson, we head to Chili's (or after a shopping spree where I have buyers remorse and feel as if I'm 'saving' money by eating thrifty :) Chili's in Arnold has yet to disappoint us - why do I approach in the pessimistic fashion? Because I have a specific, tweak this and that order - and each time, it magically comes out correct! Chili's is one of the only chains that has decent healthy fare (well, lets forget about sodium content for a minute). They have a nutritional menu readily available (yes I've looked at it more than once prior to ordering in the restaurant). Our 'usual' lunch/dinner consists of a basket of chips/salsa (with a bag to go and salsa to boot!) then we split a black bean burger on a wheat bun with low fat honey mustard (aka tweak tweak and tweak) with broccoli (please no butter - tweak #4). Interesting thing is you have to order a 'normal' burger and then ask for the b.bean pattie as a substitute. But hey, not a big deal if it means getting something 1/2 way healthy to put down your pie hole. Bottom line: we consistently leave here bellies satisfied with a pocket of jingle from our Jackson, and not needing to go buy bigger pants. Hooray! read more

Watch your bill !!! - Saturday 2/6/2021 We were charged for the table next to us which was more than double ours but with the electronic card pay at the table machines it's challenging to see itemized bills - when we finally figured it out - they claimed they deleted the transaction but couldn't give me a receipt - I insisted - had to wait 15 minutes for a manager - she finally came to the table - went back to the office & emailed her tech support group requesting 2, separate refunds to my card & gave me a printed copy of the emails - a week later & I still do not have the refund I was overcharged for - WOW!!! read more

I recently had surgery. I am just know able to eat regular food. This is one of my favorite locations. I stopped in for lunch. I ordered a soup and half sandwich lunch special. I felt so bad that all I could eat was half of the soup and had to take the rest to go. I really like the southwest chicken soup. They no longer serve a cup of soup. They only serve bowls of soup. The chicken sandwich was very good, even though I ate it the next day. read more

Third time not a charm. Thought we would give it another try, still bad. They were dead but still horrible service. You get seated and wait forever for anyone to acknowledge you. Then you have to get up and keep asking for what you want. They are at least consistent, always bad service and the food doesn't do as anything to make it worth the aggravation. My fiance had the shrimp tacos. These were the same tacos that I raved about in a previous review of a Chili's store, but no raving this time. They were bland and devoid of flavor compared my previous experience. The southwestern eggrolls are still the main reason that we go to Chili's and they didn't not disappoint. The margaritas are great and the Presidente is better than the standard. I had the honey chipotle chicken. Excellent high marks. read more

Took my customers to lunch here at their request. The atmosphere was your regular Chili's but I was a bit disappointed in the food. While my customers got exactly what they ordered, the service was more than acceptable and drinks were refilled quickly, my ribeye steak didn't include the sauteed mushrooms or grilled shrimp I ordered *and* it was a bit too salty in my opinion. I would eat there again just to play with the Ziosk machines though! Those things are awesome and in all my travels I had never seen them before. read more

Have usually been happy with takeout from Chili's however this last visit the portions were very skimpy. The full-size salad I ordered was the size of a side salad. I had to pay six dollars for three extra chicken strips. The appetizers I ordered also were smaller than what was served in the restaurant. read more

My wife and I eat at both Fenton and Arnold locations. We always enjoy or meals. Service has never been an issue and the staff is always very friendly. I'm sure we will return for lunch or dinner to both locations. read more

Was offered to wait 35 minutes and was considering it but then the hostess basically told us we should go to Applebee's instead that's right down the road. We didn't want Applebee's, which is why we went to Chili's, so we decided to order Togo. Our 15 minute togo order ended up being 35 instead. Those were the BEST nachos I've ever had at Chili's. And came out absolutely perfect, and as ordered!!! I don't give 5s to anybody but I have very specific requirements for my nachos here, and they far exceeded them with little direction. Chili's nachos are my favorite nachos if done right. My mother and I tried this location a few days ago and we'll never go again. The restaurant was dirty with a lot of dirt on the floor but I could live with that. Once my mother and I got our glasses, though, they were clearly dirty and a lipstick stain was still on my mother's glass! She had to return it and thankfully when she got it back, it was clean. Our utensils were uncleaned also and we returned those as well. Our food wasn't much better. It had no flavor and wasn't too warm, so we were both disappointed. Our waitress was nice but overall, the experience was awful. I would not recommend this location. read more

Chiles used to be one of my favorites but the last two times I've been to the Chiles in the Arnold Commons it was horrible. The food was cold and covered in sauces and spices to the point you couldn't enjoy the meal. The portions are no longer what they used to be either. Very disappointed. read more

My husband and I went in for lunch today and sat at the bar for 10 minutes while the bartender walked passed us about 10 times without any service. Finally came over and got my husband a beer and I asked for a water... I waited another 5 minutes for him to get that. Needless to say we just left. Won't be back. read more

I am giving them one star for the following reasons: 1) The menu's are filthy and it's obvious they aren't cleaned, 2) I used a straw and was able to pull out nasty crust from the grout lines in the tables. They aren't cleaned often either, 3) The food was sub-par at best. It was cold and I ordered fries as a side and got all of about 10, 4) the waitress really meant it when she said "Grab me if you need anything" because she only returned to the table (on her own) to take the order and deliver the food. We had to wave her down for drink refills and to complete the missing order parts. I really think this place has low expectations of it's employees because the manager came to our table, asked how our food was but walked away quickly. She was not interested in the slightest. There are tons of better places in the area to go to and I recommend skipping this place. read more

I just have to say. I'm VERY disappointed. The last now, 3 times I've been here in 4 months has been poor service. This time I tried carry out. When I arrived home, they had a whole 7 french fries in my hamburger order. It seems nowadays that places don't mind charging you a higher price, whatsoever but when it comes to the quality of the product, it falls WAY short. Needless to say I made a complaint with the manager, and had to drive back up to get another sandwich. Was compensated w $15 in cards. read more

I had recently gave this place a great review. However I see not every visit is good. We ordered the two for 25 which is a good price but was disappointed with this meal. Service was good but food was poor. First off the burger was very undercooked even blood coming out of it. They gave me another that was cooked. Then the desert was not good. Stopped in after a band concert for my daughter. We sat on the bar side and the bartender waited on us. He was fabulous. One of the best waiter we have had. Service was fast and accurate. The food was great. My husband had the prime rib burrito which is new and he said it was amazing. I always get the honey crispers. They are so good!! We were full and happy when we left. Ordered 2 for 22 and a kids meal. Daughter found a hair in Cajun chicken pasta. Server asked if she would like a replacement and she said not the Cajun chicken. Server asked if she would like anything else. Daughter ordered a turkey sandwich. All was ok. Bill came - $45. Server removed Cajun chicken which tripped the 2 for $22 to regular price - full price for fajitas and chips & salsa - almost $22. AND charged for the turkey sandwich. Manager said there just wasn't anything she could do because it was the computer. She FINALLY removed the chips and salsa and one drink. A manger can make that bill say anything she would like - and I should not have been penalized (or even had to ask) because the food was served with hair in it. read more

My server tonight was a very sweet guy named Evan. He was amazing. He helped me get a seat for my daughter and was very helpful. He also walked me though all the different meal choices and made my birthday awesome. He gave me a free desert for my birthday and made me feel so welcome. The place in general was very welcoming and pleasant. Everyone was very friendly and actually really wanted to make sure you had a great experience. I will definitely come back.
