I was very hesitant to go here because of the Low yelp rating. I was pleasantly surprised.. we were seated right away. Server came right up to us. Our drinks were tasty and cold. My husband had a hamburger cooked perfectly. I had a grilled chicken sandwich. It was awesome. Both servings were very hardy. Amy, our server was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with her, even visited with the manager for a little bit. There were plenty of servers in the restaurant. Everybody seemed very happy.. Came here for lunch with my dad and Florida family and we received top notch service. The waitress ironically was named Tiffany as well and she was fantastic! We were a party of 10 and she did not mess up any of the orders. As a matter of a fact, we got a free extras and she was very attentive in checking in several times to see if we needed anything else. The food itself was good too, nothing 5 star of course but way better than Applebees and that was the quality of food I expected. I used the mobile app for my order. When I got my food home, it was missing some items and a lot of my menu items were cold, so I called. The agent that answered asked me to hold and she would get a manager. and she hung up. I called right back, she apologized and said that she would transfer me to the manager. I waited for over five minutes, and three different times an automated message came on and asked me if I still want to remain holding. After five minutes, it rang and then hung up on me. I called back a third time. The agent answered and said the managers told her that they did not have time to take my call and they would get back with me later or that I should call back in a couple hours. Driving down from The Villages to the big fleamarket at Auburndale we noticed very few restaurants, so after shopping we stopped here before the long ride back. My chicken avocado sandwich was cooked right on the Button, both chicken and bacon, and it was relatively cheap. The drinks were 2 for 1. So in terms of value it was a deal. Our server was great, didn't notice his name on the digital checkout device. He was pleasant and had good timing. One guy that was initially at the reception desk ran over to sweep something rather aggressively while muttering, and seemed to have an issue with a fellow employee that perhaps he should have discussed with her off stage. Anyway, this experience merits a 4 star, I was surprised to see a Yelp 2 star average when I checked in, certainly did not deserve that when we were there. read more

By far the worst Chilies I've ever been to. Been here four times and this will be the last. Ordered online and they ask for a tip so I leave an 18% tip for the to go order. Prepaid. I get there and check in at the correct time and wait 30 minutes before walking in to have them give me three boxes order I placed. I've already been there a long time so I leave only to get home and find out they completely omitted a burger. There was a box but no burger. One of the other burgers was missing half the ingredients. And was overcooked. Boy they really know how to screw up an order. They've messed up orders previously but never a whole burger. We' started eating at Chili's here in Auburndale this year. So perhaps it wasn't a great place to start but they must have certainly turned it around by 2025! Clean, fast and courteous wait staff, food is very good. So what more could you want? We've been to this Chilis multiple times. Sadly with each visit, the service and food quality just keeps going down. I took my two sons there on 3/8/25 mostly due to us having a gift card. Once sat, it took nearly 20 min for someone to greet the table. The food took an additional 45 minutes once ordered. My kids pasta was ice cold, and my burger was overcooked. Lunch had taken so long at this point, I didn't feel the need to ask for anything to be redone. Instead I just informed the server and was then told, "yeah our kitchen sucks today not much more I can do". Since the payment machine on the table was broken, I gave our gift card to the service for payment. She then came back to say that nothing is on the card and it's not going through. I paid by credit card, but also checked the card number on the website...... sure enough...... it had the full balance on it AND was active. I am going to get right to it on this one as it is a chain restaurant. -Before arrival- I downloaded the app to see how that would help my experience. Over all it's worth the DL. Joined the line from the app time was 11-21 min. App Bonus Alert: A couple came in behind us and they were told 30-35 min. Joining from the app is a great idea. They walked out and made it known they were going to Beef O Brady's. Maybe I'll try them sometime, never been. -Arrival- Check in was friendly and easy. We waited about 13 min. Got seated and waitress arrived within 2-3 minutes. -Food experience- The food was great for me and OK for my wife, yes a night without the kids! We did the 2 for 25$ for food and 2 for 1 margaritas @ 6.59 what a deal. They we're not watered down, surprisingly. They are a bit smaller than a normal marg, but it might have been the glass style used. It differed from the norm, stem with a large top, but either way it was a great night out for cheap. The drinks also came out very fast. The food deal: 2 for 25$ is 1 appetizer, 2 full entrees and 1 desert. Nice on the entree as usually you get a half portion like the 3 for 10$ deal Chili's also promotes. -The appetizer- We got the Texas cheese fries - These were awesome, so awesome I forgot to take a picture so I will describe. Fries, of course, loaded with cheese, bacon, jalapeño and a thin ranch sauce on the side for dipping. Probably salad dressing. We demolished it and not just b/c we were hungry as we also had chips and dip before this arrived. App bonus Alert: If you have the app you can get chips and salsa or a non alcoholic beverage for free. Just another way to save, especially if the kids or other family/friends are with you. -The Entrees- Just bacon burger was more than just bacon. It also had cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, red onion, a garlic aioli sauce and 4 slices of bacon, not just 2 as most places give....OMG it was very good and juicy as sin, just like you would want and expect from a Burger, well done to this cook! The margarita chicken is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. The chicken was very dry as well as the tasting like microwaved, beans and rice. They did not taste like they were freshly cooked. The tomatoes were the only fresh taste on this plate! My wife fought through and ate what she could from it rather than sending it back and waiting for a new dish, that most likely would have not been any different, what a champ! The server was ok, but she was new so I do have understanding for that as I worked in restaurants for 15 years so I can understand learning the ropes at a new place. I took my wife there for her birthday and I found out that Chili's has a very strange approach to their wait staff. My family and I got chili's to go the other night. My husband ordered the bbq bacon burger which was good as usual. It is delicious and huge but if you are not a fan of a messy, juicy burger I would not recommend. I order the 6oz sirloin with a Caesar salad and corn. I order my steak medium rare and the thing was cooked well well done! I hate my steaks like this, it was chewy and way over cooked. The chips and salsa were good. The chips were very oily and not real crisp but the salsa was delicious per usual. I didn't get pics of everything because it was late and we were starving but I had to get a pic of the steak! I'm not much of a fan of the big chain restaurants. I can't even tell you the last time I went to a Friday's, Applebee's, or Red Lobster, but I like Chili's. I like the margaritas, the chips and salsa, and the enchilada soup. These are the only things I order, but they all make me very happy. I like to come and sit in the bar because margaritas are always 2 for 1 in the bar and you always get free chips and salsa in the bar and chips and salsa are one of my greatest vices in life. I never know when to stop. I'm very into soup. I love a good soup and Chili's Chicken Enchilada Soup is one of my favorite soups anywhere. I order it every time I go to Chili's. If you've never had it, you should try it. It is creamy, and cheesey with just a little bit of spice. They sprinkle tortilla strips and cheese on top. If you are still hungry for dessert might I recommend the skillet cookie. read more

Every year that we come down to this area, this is one of the places that we stop to eat at. It's close, convenient, and the service is pretty good. We usually go in with s large group but this time it was just me and my mother, hungry after a day at a local event. We sat at a booth in the bar area. Like Applebee's, they also have the table kiosks BUT you can only reorder drinks or order dessert from it. Games can also be played on them for a fee. You can pay from this device and it will print out a receipt too. We didn't use it this time. We wanted the tableside guacamole where they mix the guacamole in front of you but our waitress said they were out so we got the regular order of guac. The chips that came with the chips and salsa were weak. The chips were thin so they broke when scooping and some were greasy. The salsa was very watery. The guac was just ok. I ordered a simple Grilled Chicken Salad which was perfect and my mother got a Southwestern Trio consisting of a chicken quesadilla, chicken soft taco, and chicken enchilada. She said the enchilada was good but the soft taco was a disappointment. It just didn't have enough cheese for her. The quesadilla had shredded chicken and she wasn't a fan of that. They do not custom do your burger, they say "pink" or "gray" for the interior. We all said "pink" but we all got gray well done burgers with seared crunchy outside (to us, "burnt"). Very dry. We drowned in ketchup. The corn cob side dish looks great but I think they boil rather than grill. It was a soggy ear and not appetizing. Three burgers with a side (and water) equals $33 plus tip. My family and I have been coming here since this location first opened up. Most recently, my parents have started coming here regularly after church on Sundays and I tagged along. The waitress they always sit with was wonderful, attentive and had great recall. She gave great recommendations and everything came out perfectly. You can't go wrong with much on the menu, but my one recommendation would be if you order anything that includes grilled chicken to ask for it to be well done. When we finally got inside,we were approached by and old man and was asked how many in our party. We said 3 and was told it would be a 15 to 20 minute wait. Ten minutes later the same old man asked if we had checked in and we told him yes then he said he didn't have us on the wait list. Then said it would be another 15 to 20 minute wait. But we explained that we already have been waiting 10 so far. So at this point we decided to drive into winter haven to the other Chili's and were seated within a couple minutes after arriving.
