We have visited this location multiple times. It has been our go to place after trips through DIA. We always sit at the bar. It smells!!! The counter is sticky. The glasses are dirty. The general bar just smells like old beer. The shelves where the liquor is stored has disgusting stains and dried booze, underneath. As a large chain, this location needs lots of work before we return. read more

I once upon a time loved this location. It is the closest to my house. However over the years , many managers have come and gone. Services has changed and so has the food . The last three times I was there we have had issues. To say the least the place is ghetto!!! The staff is now at the point where some just don't care. Went there with my family to celebrate in September. It took us 45 minutes to get our food, and after that two of the eight plates were wrong. I witnessed the bartender argue with a client and chuck ice at another. The manager apologized for our food but did nothing to remedy the situation. Went back a week ago and my food was cold, sobs steak was over cooked and my daughters salad was old. Just saddens me this place is falling apart. read more

2 1/2 stars my ass y'all are liars. This Chili's location was the single-handedly best Chili's location I've ever been to. My food was sizzling hot and so was every single table around me. My fiancé and I went in for a drink and dinner due to a long stressful week. The waitress took our drink order and the drinks came out 5 or 10 minutes later. Too long to wait when it's not even busy in here. The waitress IGNORED our existence while she sat and talked with other customers and the bar tenders. I repeatedly tried to flag her down and she ignored us again. We finally went to the hostess and got seated somewhere else where Danielle came to help us, she was so friendly and more than happy to answer any questions we had. If we hadn't been seated in her area and treated so well by her I would NEVER come back here. Danielle needs a raise and the other waitress needs customer service classes. read more

Been to this place a few times this past summer. Sat in the bar area both times and I have to say that the employees are more concerned with entertaining themselves then they are with serving the customers. Heard the bartenders complaining about work hours and management to the servers among others things. Complaining about a job is something everyone has done but in front and near the customers? Horrible. This same bartender also would come by on the fly and I would really have to pay attention to see if she was actually talking to us. Especially if I wanted another drink. The first time this happened I thought maybe it was a one time deal but I went with the wife a few weeks later and the same experience with the same employees. Not even mentioning the cleanliness and appearance of the place. Other reviews mention this and are spot on so I wont repeat. With all the competing restaurants in this area I doubt we will ever go back. There are other places you can go to and enjoy a lunch or dinner that will enhance the evening not ruin it. Fantastic bartenders and bar crowd on Sunday football season! Lots of tvs with plenty of different games on. Great bar specials all day Sunday. Friendly staff! Good beer selection on tap with local beers as well as all the regulars. No wifi?!?! read more

Waited 20 minutes for a table (no big deal, but they'd told us 10) then nearly 30 minutes and we STILL had not even had a drink order placed... I have never walked out of a place before tonight. Just came back from lunch and this site really needs a deep clean. Sticky Menus, tables, catsup bottles, floors, cups.... it all needs a deep clean. It's the grossest chilis I've ever been. Cutlery and cups are stained. It made the food very unappealing. Imagine what the kitchen looks like if the public areas are bad. read more

Two-star quickly headed down to a one. Enjoyed this Chili's for years but each of my last three visits have been well below expectations. Service is good with only one difficult server out of three. As for the food, the salad was wilted and the ranch dressing was watered down. Vegetable side dish was served on paper, some of which was on the bare metal tray. Ribs were good but had to ask twice for hand wipes. No paper towels in the restroom, twice. Charged for game-play on the table Kiosk which was later removed. Kiosk turned off before I could finish my review. Very good service on my last visit but the onion rings were bottom of the fryer, double or triple breaded. The chicken was under cooked and the happy hour beer was weak. Close to home but sorry, may have to drive down the road. read more

thieves!!!! the management at chili's hires thieves, i accidently left my phone at chilis and realized it no more than 8 minutes later. when i called my phone to find it, it was already turned off, just 8 minutes later......this was no mis-placement one of their thieving staff members swiped it off the table while cleaning it and immediately turned it off so you could not use the locator to find it...save yourself the trouble and choose another restaurant to eat. applebees and ted's are right down the road. smfh :( read more

I used to go to this Chili's location atleast once a week (i just received a birthday gift because i signed up for Chili's text messages) which reminded me of my last experience at the Tower Rd location. This was a few months ago and i never will forget the bartender "La La". I stopped in my (former) favorite spot and grabbed a bar seat. Waited atleast 5 minutes while this "bartender" washed dishes and slammed things around before even acknowledged me. Completely rude, zero service skill and NASTY attitude. Clearly i was inconvenient for being there, but that's only the beginning. I ask for a bud light draft and a water, shouldnt be too hard. La La goes back to washing glasses, gets in a verbal altercation with someone in the kitchen and starts throwing a tantrum and smashes 2 pint glasses into the trashcan. Still waiting for my beer and water. She then asks everyone at the bar (besides me, im different looking than "her people" are) if they want a free shot.I watched as she made 8 shots and served them out. At this point (Im a former bartender) i got up and left. 15 minutes no service, bold and disgusting attitude, she seems racist and the fact that Chili's allows this means you dont need to send anymore offers. We got our food after waiting about an hour or something... but it wasn't all, my friend asked for a well done steak and she had to return it 2 times back to the kitchen because it still had blood in the middle. I stopped going to Chili's sometime back because they have cheapened their environment to feel more like fast food, albeit fast food with booze. When I eat there, I feel like I am not eating food. That is a hard concept to explain, but it is like the food looks like food, some of it tastes like food, but it isn't really food, in the same way that the stuff at Sonic isn't food. You go there to eat, not to dine, or nourish your soul, or feel better than before you went there, you just go to fill your stomach. And that is what my recent visit to the Tower road location was like. I must say that they do have a competitor in this regard, and that is Ruby Tuesday. read more

I will not deny that I was super skeptical about coming here due to the awful reviews this place had....we went two nights in a row. We were visiting the area from California for a soccer tournament. The first night we were helped by Alex and everything was great. They were busy so he asked for patience and we gave it to him but the wait was not bad. We were satisfied with that visit. The next time we went with a group of 50 people....Chili's accommodated ya right away. Logan was the "parents" server and another girl took care of the soccer team. You would've never known that our party was so big because we didn't have to wait long for our food, everything was perfect, we were given complimentary chips and salsa for all, and Logan even took the time to recommend items from the menu. Both nights the host was extremely pleasant and quick to attend to us. Maybe because of the low ratings, management decided to do something about it and this is the result. I'm glad I didn't let the reviews keep me from visiting because we enjoyed both times! We live close to this Chili's and drive to the one off Alameda. The customer service is good, the place is clean but EVERY TIME their food is dry, old or bland. So today we didn't feel like driving to our normal one so we thought we would give this one a chance since it had been awhile since our last bad visit. Same ole' thing, and we get the same exact appetizer, meal and dessert always. The Texas Cheese Fries tasted like they collected everyone's leftover fries threw some cheese on it and served. Mine and my daughters burgers were dry and the buns hard. Annoyed but not having high hopes to began with, we ordered our usual dessert but to go, and that's when I decided to write a review. The Chocolate cookie ice cream was good, but my husbands cheesecake smelled and tasted like onions!! really? how is that possible. So it's back to taking that extra but well worth drive. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings, smoked wings and texas cheese fries to go. Got back to the office to find the buffalo chicken sandwich had barely enough sauce on it to qualify as buffalo chicken. The description said it came with lettuce and tomato, yet there wasn't any lettuce. I paid an extra dollar for onion rings and got 3 rings and 1 very tiny one. They also sent fries (terrible fries at that) which makes me think they realized at the last minute that they needed rings and just tossed in what was left. The "smoked" wings had no smoke flavor at all and I'm pretty sure they were baked. The cheese fries were not very cheesy and were cold. I won't be ordering any of those items again. read more

Deciding what restaurant to take your family to can be a real hassle. One person doesn't like Chinese food, the next person doesn't want one place, the next person doesn't want this, doesn't want that, ect. The conversation goes on and on and there is always one person that doesn't want a certain place. At least that is what you see with a big family like mine! There is a few places though, that has a wide food selection so it is usually the go-to place for my family. One specific restaurant like this is Chili's. Now I am not saying that Chili's is my ultimate favorite restaurant to go to, but I certainly do not mind going at all. I am one of those that likes to get the same thing to eat every single time I dine in at the same restaurant. Chili's is a very well-known sit down restaurant that- most times- has fast service if you need. You can go for lunch or dinner and be out of there in less than an hour. That aspect of the business is a very positive factor for the restaurant business. Customer service on the other hand is not the same. The local chili's that my family and I go to most often does not have the great customer service that everyone talks about. I was dining in with my boyfriend and parents one night when it changed my view of the employees. Took about ten minutes before we were greeted with poor people skills. So, as the dinner went on, it was like pulling weeds trying to get our server to wait on us. Then, the most shocking happened. If you've never been into Chili's before, they have small kiosk type things at each table for you to pay and give a review after your meal. Well, after we paid we were just finishing up our food when the server decides to come back to our table. She reaches over all of our food, all the way at the other end of the table to grab the kiosk and give herself a good review on behalf of my family. Of course- she gave herself all excellent reviews. That was one of the most shocking things I have ever seen, especially because she decided to do it right in front of us, knowing that we thought the service was quite awful. Not to completely bash on the restaurant, there are things that are very appealing to me. The food quality is great and the portions are even better for a particularly cheap price. If you go as often as I do, you will get that one plate of food every once in a while that just grosses you out. But, that rarely seems to happen. The food is not the same quality that you would find at a P.F. Changs or some fancy restaurant, but it is also not as pricey so it matches well. Chili's restaurants are also very family-friendly. You could use Chili's as a date spot, or just a fun family outing. It does have a louder environment than other places might have, but that's the fun of it. That means you could be just as loud with your group as well! I do encourage new customers to try Chili's out because the food is great, you just have to cross your fingers to get that one-of-a-kind server! read more
