Waitress seemed like she couldn't care less about us or getting us food/drinks. Had to ask four times for our chips and salsas, ordered two salsas and still only got one. Do not recommend this chilis. The cheese bites were very good but everything else, especially the service, was not good. It took us a little to get seated and when we did get seated our table was dirty with chunks of food on it. The cheese curds were so good that we wanted to order a second order of them, but the waitress never put the order in so we never got them, and she was still going to charge us for them if we didn't tell her. On the menu, the steak fajitas said "sizzling fajitas..." then listened all the sides. I am picky about my food so I expect it to served the exact was it says it is going to be. I ordered it medium rare and when i got my food it was burnt and there was an orange VERY spicy sauce drizzled on top. There was also maybe a teaspoon of pico de gallo on my plate. So i asked for more pico and the waitress never brought it out so i had to ask someone else for it and they brought me another teaspoon, like please tell me what that is going to do!?!? Do not put fajitas on the menu if you are going to skimp on the sides and don't ask how a person wants their steak done if you are going to burn it anyways. The one thing I could suggest for this pasta, is a little bit more Alfredo sauce, but everything else was right on point. The Cajun seasoning added the needed kick and flavor and the chicken was grilled to perfection. Everything came together nicely. I'm not a big fan of garlic bread, but it was baked perfectly, not too hard and not too soft with the perfect amount of butter to make it soft but keep the outsides crisp. I'm usually weary of trying pastas at restaurants but this pasta just changed my mind. read more

I ate here for lunch one day. The food was ok, but the service was subpar. I got there and was seated right away. There were few other people in the restaurant. I sat down and ordered a margarita. Despite this, I never received a glass of water. How often do you eat at a restaurant in this country and get a glass of water automatically? Anyway, I ordered the mango lime chicken. I tried asking my waitress questions about it or about other things on the menu but she was no help. Eventually I got my food and ate it. The food was ok, but nothing special. Despite it being marked as spicy, all the heat was in the sauce, which was served on the side; it also meant that without the sauce, the chicken was rather bland. What a filthy , dirty restaurant. It's dirty as soon as you walk in. Sit at a booth by the window and it gets even better . Went to the beavercreek location on 4/30. Sat at a booth. Window sills full of crumbs, slim on the windows. This was at 1:00 pm, so it wasn't the end of the day. The credit card kiosk was so sticky and grimy, had to go wash up after touching it. Got chips and salsa. The salsa look like dirty dish water. Asked for another, and it was better. Why serve it up in the first place if it looked like that. Food was ok. Meh. We stopped here with a couple friends for dinner before a concert at Nutter and ordered their specialty margaritas. The first round, both my friend and I looked at each other and said, "is there any alcohol in this?" Second round definitely tasted like alcohol though, which is upsetting - do they skimp on the first round of $5 margaritas to get you to have seconds? I'm a lightweight, so usually one is enough, but not so a Chili's. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. I like to go there when I can because I love their Southwestern Eggrolls, but their are many other concerns. Their chicken strips have shrunk the size they used to be, their happy hour we found out is only for the bar, even though it doesn't say that on line, and I don't think I will choose it for a Friday night family dinner again. Tonight we brought my daughter in-law here for dinner (against my better judgement) and we paid for it in more then one way. - Oder was not put in, so it was very long wait. - When food came 2 of the orders were missing items. - The fajitas only filled 1/2 the plate. Smallest order we have ever seen. - From the first meal brought out to the last meal was a span of 20 minutes. - It took 3 conversations with the waitress to get the manager to finally come out as we were leaving. Mgr Seemed to be avoiding the issue. The waitress got us 1/2 off the meal, Mgr should have made it free. Left the waitress a good tip, she was very upset with the kitchen. I never have reviewed any restaurant and especially not a negative, but service was so slow, we waited for literally an hour at our table before we even got our chips and salsa. The salads were so bland, the fries sucked and were cold. The brisket quesadilla was haphazardly thrown together and didn't have anything but the brisket on it. The garlic toast was something you can find at the freezer section at Walmart and was half baked. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was a hot dog. I'd visited this location for the second time thinking my experience would be different but not. First visit I'd picked my meal up to go and the pick up area floor was very dirty. Besides the floors being filthy, my meal was incorrect. Second visit I decided to dine in to give a second chance and this visit was worse! The floor was as dirty as the first visit and they sat my spouse and I near a table that was left with food and dirty dishes that another guest had left. The severs didn't clear the tables nearly 20 mins after. It took 40 mins to receive our meal. Waiter Calli was nice but not sure why it took so long to receive our meal. The location was not busy. Haven't been to a a Chili's in years so I don't know if the whole chain has changed or if it's this specific location but we had a great dinner experience. Our server Meredith was awesome and on top of things and our food was pretty darn good. I got the smothered chicken burrito(I think that's the name) and it was way better than I was expecting. Even the black bean side was good. My husband got one of the burgers with a side of fries and really enjoyed it. We got the awesome blossom petals for the appetizer and it was fresh and hot and tasty. Overall a good meal and we're putting Chili's back into our rotation. I read other reviews as we were waiting to be seated and felt a bit remorseful at choosing Chili's for our lunch. However, as you can tell from my 4 star rating, I had a very positive experience. My only comment was that it took, perhaps a bit too long to be greeted and seated. Yet once seated the service was wonderful an our food was quite good. I ordered a rib-eye and it was cooked to perfection. The loaded mashed potatoes were quite good. My husband got a burger an it was very good as well. We'll definitely go back again. The wait was quoted 25 mins on a Saturday night and I believe we o lot waited 35, so not too terrible. Our server was rushed and not concerned with us- we had to ask for napkins and silverware when our meals came. I got fajitas and the meat was very tough. They were delivered without tortillas- that I then had to ask for twice, when they came they were tossed onto the table wrapped in foil without a plate or anything to construct the fajitas on. I'm not a big chain-restaurant guy... I love indy restaurants. However... Chili's gets very high marks across the board from me. A wide variety on their menu, decent service and atmosphere. I've eaten at Chili's many times... LOVE the chili queso dip! I get it almost every time I eat there. But what prompted me to write a review was the spicy shrimp tacos! omgosh! So flavorful, and an interesting mix of flavors at that. Very fresh! The term "flavor explosion" may be overused in advertising, but it certainly applies in this case! Trust me, if you like that sort of dish, in lieu of a burger or something more overtly Tex-Mex, you won't be disappointed. I have to say that I do love Chili's but sadly, not this location. Why you ask? I shall explain... We were seated by a very pleasant hostess who gave us menus that were in severe need of replacement. They were sticky and worn and just overall gross. I didn't even want to let my paws touch them. Yuck! Our waitress was very mediocre. She was not attentive at all. We asked her for a few minutes while we contemplated what we were going to order. Well she sure gave us a "few" minutes...like 10 of them. While that doesn't seem like an exorbitant amount of time, it is an eon when you are starving. Service didn't get much better than that. I got the all you can eat soup and salad. I was not asked if I wanted seconds until my salad plate and soup bowl had a long extended absence of food. When I did get my refill on soup I was unable to eat it all. I asked for a "to go" bowl and was denied. I was able to get the left-over chips to go however, taking the remaining bowl of soup was a big no-no. I can understand if I was asking for a new bowl to go home with. I could not understand why I could not wrap up the soup that I had already eaten. Apparently this is their policy, one I have never encountered before. Overall, the whole lack of customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth. Will we be back? Had the chicken sandwich and fries - both came out very hot and very fresh (I get the same thing at every Chilli's I go to and sometimes it is hit or miss). Be careful when you order steak. When my friend ordered the classic ribeye, they don't tell you its a 6oz. You have to ask for the 10oz. Needless to say we had to wait for them to cook another one. Outside of that the food was good. Its not a wow experience. Our waitress was less then stellar. She needs better customer service training or something. I was already on edge about eating at this location. Upon entrance the menus were sitting on a serving tray with a hand written paper sign that said " please wait to be seated".
