5 stars for Ramon, the server. He was absolutely efficient and friendly. He gave us the best service we have ever received at a Chili's. We stopped by the day after Christmas on our way home from Knott's. This is just right down the street and is located in the mall plaza. We love coming to Chili's for a quick and predictable meal. The 2 for $20 deal is the best and the fajitas are pretty darn good for the price! The place was packed but the service was fabulous! Thank you, Ramon! I highly recommend coming if Ramon is working! Came for a 9:30 happy hour- got two large glasses of Blue Moon and munched it down with the wingless buffalo wings + sweet potato fries. I'd get the fries again but pass on the wings. I can't say much more about my visit here other than the service being slow. I think it's lesson learned to know what you want as soon as you sit down because the moment you say "can we have a few minutes" those minutes start to rack up and your stomach is left hungry. This location isn't the best. Their staff is a majority teenager/college kids who don't take their job seriously. The staff here is constantly complaining within earshot of the customers. It made my experience here really uncomfortable. I don't want to be waiting from my food and hear how you don't like the way you are scheduled, or singing inapproriate songs to your coworkers. The food is mediocre at best. Their menu has fair prices but nothing truly interesting on it. It's probably a good place for tourists that are coming to eat after being at Knott's but I don't think its that great. The parking at the mall is terrible. and the direction of traffic in the parking surrounding Chili's is very questionable. I hope things can change for Chili's but I'm sure they will stay around regardless because they are a chain. read more

We stopped by for a quick bite before catching an Angel's game. It would have been quick, but the restaurant had a 20 minute wait. Luckily there were several tables open in the bar (BTW, the full menu is available in the bar). The men in the party enjoyed the sports updates on the televisions in the bar. The televisions could have been a bit bigger considering the placement in the bar, which would facilitate better sports watching opportunities. Well, even with the open seating in the bar service was slow and it took forever to get in and out of the restaurant. I ordered the crispy chicken crispers. The waitress got my order wrong and served me the regular chicken crispers which were soggy and greasy. My bf had to take the battered part off the strips because it was just gross (if you have read previous reviews you know he and I usually share meals). My bf got the Monterey Chicken and he was greatly disappointed. He did not like how the chicken was prepared and ended up pulling the cheese right off the chicken. The veggies were also so saltly and he was complaining about it all evening (we are not used to eating salty items). My bf's father got the Margarita Grilled Chicken. This item actually looked really good. He actually ate the whole thing (he usually is a lighter eater). My bf wished he ordered that item instead. My father just had a salad, which he seemed to enjoy. Overall, the service was horrible and the food was unappetizing. I recommend to skip this place and head to Portillo's. read more

Horrible guest service! If you're ordering something to-go, order online. Not in person. My bf and I decided to order our food to-go, and the employee handling our order was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As we walked up, he asked (without even looking up), "Placing or pick up?" I responded that we'd like to make a to-go order. He then snapped back, "Yea, which one? Placing or pick up?" From then on he had such a bad attitude towards us and used a dismissive tone. We dine in at Chili's all the time, and we have never met an employee as unprofessional and rude as this one. For example, as he was looking for a pen, he shouted out to his friends that this is the reason why he doesn't like the servers. Again, having side conversations while ignoring us. Once we came back for the food, he put the bag on the counter and walked away. Previously, employees have at least said, "Here is your food. Thank you, have a nice day." Or shown us our order. Not this guy! He pretty much shoved our food at us and walked away. We called after him, asking for extra sauces, and he said he'd have to charge us. Once we got home to eat, I realized my chicken was smaller than usual and had a lot of fatty pieces and pieces of bone. I get the honey chipotle chicken crispers all the time and this is the first time that it's been like this. Usually the quality is the same every single time. Either to-go orders don't get the best food quality v.s. dining in guests, or the employee that took our order told the kitchen staff to give us inedible food. I'm not sure what happened but it's a strange coincidence. To make matters worse, I tried creating a guest complaint on the Chili's website twice. One on 10/21 and another almost a week after. I have not received any response. It makes me sad that a restaurant that my bf and I loved is sweeping bad service under the rug and allowing employees to represent their restaurant like this. read more

I understand that I went on a week day. Tuesday to be exact. When we arrived there was no host to greet us. It took awhile for them to seat us although it wasn't that busy. They had tables available but yet those tables were dirty and nobody was cleaning them. The appetizer was really good. The food; it was okay. I did order the spicy shrimp tacos. The avocados were somewhat green and part black. That's not appealing at all to the eye. The waitress never asked us if we wanted any sauce with our food. Aka A1 Sauce since my husband did order a steak. You would assume they would ask if you wanted any sauce. Not one waiter came to our table until we were almost done with our food. We did ask for some water and the waitress went to go the pitcher to refill our two water cups. But she didn't fill them up all the way. My husbands cup was half way and mine was less then half way. She did apologize and say "Sorry were low on water" and said she would come back for more. Did she ever come back you ask? No, she didn't until the experienced male waiter saw we had empty cups of water and brought us the two water cups. Something else that I did notice when I ordered the Spicy Shrimp tacos was that they wrap it in a white paper and put in on a metal holder. That was a good thing so the shrimp doesn't touch the metal. But they forgot that the rice was touching the metal. Im actually here right now writing my review and my waitress may have spotted me writing this review. They now have these nifty tablets where you can see your bill, pay it off, or even reorder drinks directly from your table for those of you who dine at the bar. Terrible service. When I came with my partner we were told we would receive a text message and it would be an Hour wait. We were fine and willing to wait, we then waited an hour and a half and did not receive a text message. We then went to the host to ask of the status of our table and he rudely ignored us and walked away then when we asked about the status he rudely said " I don't know maybe like another half hour wait?We'll text you and let you know."
