Like going to a mall food court with beer. The food is edible, that's about it. Chicken tacos were really a tiny microwave tender in a softshell, with a little salsa, x3. Not much flavor in their food. Wife had a veggie burger with fries, was bland. Meh. The 2 for 1 drafts are a little misleading-- they're served in 8 or 10 oz mugs (I'm not sure on size there). Figure a bottle is 12oz, so you're likely paying the same as anywhere else (light beers- Coors or Miller- are $3, blue moon is $5). Margarita drink specials are served in a special bottle, but not very boozy. Lotsa capri sun in there. Service was very friendly and smiley, when it was there. Took some time to get drinks, but was ok. Someone else brought the food, that was ok. Didn't see our waitress until we were about 3/4 done. First time in forever I only had one beer with apps and dinner (the two mugs count as one to me, sorry). Got out relatively cheap because we only had one round. Was $45 for a beer, a margarita, chips n salsa, hamburger, and chicken tacos. Pricey for the quality, about right for a chain restaurant. This is all location. Good after a shopping trip because they're there, serve beer, and edible food. Just don't expect to be wowed on any front, just meh. read more

Positives- staff was friendly and we were seated in 20minutes. Negatives - drinks weren't very good. My margarita tasted way to fruity and synthetic. My husband's beer was flat. We ordered a steak medium and it came back well. The nachos had some awful sauce that tasted like Taco Bell. The nachos were soggy and greasy. My son ordered the pasta with chicken and broccoli. A few pieces of the broccoli didn't look good. They need better quality control. read more

This was the first time I've been to Chili's actually. My boyfriend and I stopped after a movie and got the 2 meal for $25 deal. Shared the onion petals which were good. We both got the Cajun chicken pasta which wasn't "oh my God you HAVE to get the Cajun chicken pasta" but it was good and I enjoyed it. We got the cheesecake for dessert, however if came out frozen solid and was inedible. Our server was the main problem for me. I asked for water with lemon and had to flag her down for some lemons. Hardly saw her after that. A different server brought us out main dishes, and I had to catch the hostess to ask if our server could bring us our check. Overall I'd go back for the food, I wasn't at all impressed with the service, but that can happen anywhere read more

Incompetent management. I have seen the way some of these manager treat their employees and settle disputes between them. I have been there on several occasions where two employees were fighting verbally, and I begged the waiter to get the manager to come break it up. So the manager came out and then HE started yelling and making a fuss instead of taking them back where there are no customers. Some of the wait staff are awesome, and others are about as dumb as a rock, getting orders completely wrong or chatting it up with another employee when I'm trying to wave them down. I asked, in that situation, for the manager and they never came. I will never return there, not only from how bad the service was, but how horribly management does its job around there. I hope that the GOOD employees don't suffer from the BAD management. Long story short, the food is great but the staff leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. read more

Had lunch yesterday and this place needs new staff. The wait was 30 minutes due to short staff in the kitchen. This is common with a pandemic going on. The hostess was terrible. Never told one customer leaving thank you or have a good day. Just her face in her phone. There was a situation with a waiting table which was handled poorly. The whole staff was in the kitchen and gossiping about the situation. They actually had a family of three come in and they decided to wait even though they were told a hour. With in five minutes three adults came in who were regular customers who were told to grab a table in the bar. Handed menus. Of course this did not sit well with the waiting party. They closed the restaurant for the next hour after this. We enjoy Chili's ! With that being said the food was cold and lacked presentation. Waitress was missing. Could not get a refill or a take out container to take our food home to cook ourselves. Please train your staff. With 3 waitresses and six tables there should not be a problem. Plus your hostess needs to be trained. She basically sent people away telling them a hour and never once thanked a customer when leaving. read more

This was one of the worst meals of my life. Let me start by saying we entered the restaurant, not being greeted by a normal hostess - this woman (older white haired woman with thick eyeliner, not sure of her name since she never said one word to us, looked like a zombie in a trance), took us to a table closest to the door. We ordered each a burger - one bacon burger, and one Alex's burger both with onion petals. Let me say this food was some of the greasiest disgusting food ever, wanted to throw up eating it. They fry their burgers (no flame grilled here) and both of us could not stand the food. It was so disgusting we left most of it behind. Worst of all for just a crappy burger and NO drink cost $13.79 including tax (no tip included) for this quality of garbage food. We both noticed how bad Chili's has gone downhill over the years, and this will be THE LAST time they we ever spend our money at this establishment. I highly recommend going elsewhere. There are much better food establishments. Wish we had went to Long Horn Steakhouse for their burger which costs $8.99 and was not fried, not greasy and actually tastes amazing. I've been to Chili's a time or two and this location's customer service was.... bad. We came here around 3 on a Monday and it was definitely not busy. We stood inside the door for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated while several servers just stared at us. Finally the first one that looked at us took us to our seats, 5 minutes later someone comes to get our drinks. After waiting for about 10 minutes a new waitress comes to take our order. 30 minutes later and our food still isn't out. We've watched 2 other tables walk in about 10 and 15 minutes after us, order their food, get their food, and are now packing up to leave, all when we haven't even gotten our food yet. I look around and I see 2 other tables with elderly people that have been seated for at least 10 minutes and they haven't even gotten their drinks ordered yet. When I asked my waitress to come back and just give me the bill she tried apologizing and saying it's because of the shift change, which I could understand if that were really the case. The woman with purple hair that was clocked in when we walked in, stared at us for 5 minutes, then seated us, was still working when we left so clearly she could have helped us instead of ignoring us. She had only one table she was actually helping through the whole 45 minutes we were there. Even if it was due to shift change, the restaurant shouldn't have everyone changing at the same time and there's no reason a shift change should result in customers being ignored for 45 minutes. read more

I've missed Chilis... funny how you can miss a chain when you aren't living near one. Since we're back in WNY, it was time to visit one again! Came and ate here on a Saturday night, kid was at home with babysitter. If you've ever read my reviews then you know when I don't have my screaming toddler with me then I like to be able enjoy my meal and take my time. Happy that on this evening at Chili's, was able to do that. Started with some drinks, I LOVE that thing on the table so you can just submit your drink refill yourself! I used that to my advantage several times. Service was good, waitress was attentive. We got the endless chips and salsa and I added some guacamole. The guacamole was REALLY good, very fresh and nice and chunky with big pieces of avocado in it. I would have enjoyed this more if the chips weren't all broke up, it seemed like we got the bottom of the bag or something. Hardly any solid chips. I was starving, so I made do with the circumstances I had. I ordered a sirloin and my husband had the ribs. His ribs were SO good, they had that Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce on them. My sirloin was ordered medium but came out well done. The waitress offered to take it back but to be honest it took a really long time to even get it (around 45 minutes, but I was happy with my drinks and chips) so I declined. She took that off the bill for us. You can also order desserts from the table computer thing, so I went ahead and ordered a chocolate chip cookie skillet. Oh Lord... it was like all chocolate and butter and just awesome with the scoop of ice cream on top. All in all, it was a very enjoyable meal. This was my first time back to Chili's since Summer. Our food was just ok but the service has gone down hill. Upon walk in I asked to be seated in Mckenzie's section because she was our waitress last time and we loved her. We were informed that she was no longer employed there. Such a disappointment. She really did go above and beyond for us. Our new waitress took our order and then we didn't see her for hours. We thought she went on break or maybe even left and forgot she had a table. We later found out that she was hanging around the bar talking to people she must have known. We won't be coming back for awhile. read more

Went for a nice dinner, had to leave before we could even order anything. We were sat to a dirty table where my date put her hand in something sticky and promptly ran to the bathroom, there was clearly rice, beans, and other food on the table and seats. I had the host come back to clean the table, which he kinda did, but did not do a decent job at all. When my date returned we decided that we would leave because if that's how you clean your tables that people will eat from, who knows what's going on in the kitchen. As we got up to leave the waitress came over and told us it was another girls fault. We left and went to a locally owned restaurant. Came here with my parents and sister for the first time in almost 10 years, because we heard they were making some menu and restaurant changes. Glancing at the menu, they did change a bit since the last time we had been here. My mom got some kind of sampler platter with a chicken enchilada, chicken taco and chicken tostada and thought all of it was good. My dad got some chicken sandwich with fries and liked it, and my sister got the quesadilla explosion salad which they've had forever but is consistently good. I tried one of their new bowls, which consists of chicken/shrimp (being a pescetarian, I opted for the shrimp), beans and rice, cheese, corn salsa, sauce, tortilla strips and avocado slices. I thought it was decent but nothing to write home about. My mom and I split the buy one get one presidente margarita, which was probably the best part of the meal. Honestly, they might have put up some smoke and mirrors but it's the same Chili's it always has been. I probably won't be back because I'm not that impressed. While our waitress was very nice and friendly, she took forever to take our order and forever to give us the bill, or rather teach us to use the electronic tablets each table now has, to swipe your card and pay for your meal. To be fair my sister had her menu open on the table well after she decided what she wanted to order, but the server didn't even come check on us until her menu was closed for a minute or two. Our food came out quickly but with the wait to order and the wait for the bill we were easily there for about an hour and a half, and the restaurant was pretty much empty so I don't really understand that. My dad waited for the server to come by so he could ask her for hot sauce but she was nowhere to be seen. I also waited for her to come over for about 20 minutes so I could ask her for a box for my leftovers. Also, call me old fashioned but I HATE when restaurants have tablets on tables. They had games going on the tablets and my dad would not put the thing down for most of our meal because it is so distracting. They also take up quite a bit of space on the table, so they're generally just inconvenient. Also what if you wanted to pay cash for your meal? The impression was that it took so long for our server to help us pay on the tablet because they expect you to just pay and leave. It was unfriendly or unwelcoming or something. read more

Today I ordered the original chicken crispers and a buffalo ranch chicken sandwich with cheese fries from Chillis To Go. Completely disappointed with what we received. 5 dinky fingers which were not good- i have gotten these before and they are usually awesome. They came with corn on the cob and a small handful of fries. My boyfriends chicken sandwich had 3 pieces of shredded lettuce. We never received the cheese fries .. Apparently they were "sitting on the counter". We ended up calling for a refund because we were charged extra for the fries. Manager was quick to get off the phone and the worker who refunded the card was rude. Chillis was one of my favorite restaurants but I will NEVER be coming back here. 0 stars. read more

After a busy Friday morning at work, I really wanted to get out of the office on my lunch break. Although some dear coworkers were heading to a local BBQ joint, I was more in the mood for some fresh mex-type cuisine. Lucky for me, a new coworker was too. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and offered a fantastic drink menu filled with Tequila options. Unfortunately, we still had work to complete later in the day (not all of us get the luxury of going home after our lunch break), I politely declined and received a refreshing glass of water. Not long after my quesadilla chicken salad came out loaded with all the fresh veggies one could want with a side of cheese quesadilla to satisfy all cravings! Needless to say my plate was almost cleaned entirely off. To top off this refreshing and filling meal, you can pay at your seat immediately upon devouring it. No need to wait for a waitress to bring your check, just tap "pay bill" and swipe your card. I just might have to look into their happy hour specials now that they did tempt me with the drink menu....back to work I go though. read more

I ordered a Bacon Burger from here and , the waitress asked "Would i like my burger pink?" I said to her no thank you , well done please (no pink). I got my burger back and , in the inside of my burger it was RAW! So i sent it back which i HATE to do , because we all heard the stories about what goes on in the kitchen when you send things back. But, i was hungry so i ask them to make me a well done burger AGAIN!!!! And what do you know it was raw ground beef although the burger AGAIN!!!!So , I complain again to the waitress and the manger also came over and they both saw that my burger and my son's burger was raw . So the manger had to make it for me because apparently Greg, couldn't make a well done burger. read more

The manager could not be bothered to even stop by the table although there were only two tables with customers in the restaurant with me and my boys being one of them. But he could take the time to stand against the counter and talk with his wait staff. I would think twice about ever going back to any Chili location. I am a regular at chilis and always come for the Caribbean salad and soup. They always let me do half a salad with an up charge but it always comes up to under 10$. Today the manger refused to do it for me and wanted to charge me 5$ just to add chicken to half of a salads and was extremely rude when I tried to explain they do this for me often. After wasting half of my lunch break I left with out ordering anything. After this experience I may never be back again. read more

My husband wanted to try the new boss burger so we drove 45 minutes out to the Chili's on Transit Rd. This was our first and probably last visit. We walked in and the hostess said Hi and then just stared at us. So I told her we had 2 people, again just kind of looked at us. After a few seconds she spoke up and asked if we wanted the lounge area or dining. Dining. We were seated at a booth. The environment is very nice, comfortable and welcoming. The waitress was very nice, took our drink order and asked if we wanted chips with salsa. We said sure, not realizing until the bill came that you are charged $4.19 for them. I asked her and her response was "they're free if you're a rewards member!" then walked away. Never offered to make us a rewards member or explained how to join. There is a lot on the menu, but so many items had jalapeño cheese. The food was good, but nothing impressive. I would rather get my fajitas closer to home. I got a Deep Eddy Watermelon drink and that was delicious. read more
