Met my man mate here last Thursday around 4:30 for an early dinner date because I was famished and not up for going home to prep a wonderful meal after working in someone else's kitchen all day. I was feeling a little meaty and ordered a half slab of the baby back ribs and the asparagus and roasted tomato side as oppose to fries. The baby back ribs were more bones than meat, but morsels between the bones were tender and tasty. The side cooked on had an inedible thin layer of dry/burned meat that would have been a problem for me at a higher end restaurant. The asparagus stalks were not trimmed, so half of the serving was not edible, but the tips along with the tiny roasted tomatoes was tasty and generously salted for season. The waitress was very attentive and food was served quickly. We will definitely go again before we move from the area. read more

Listen UP!!! Don't judge this place as your ordinary chain restaurant!!! First! Romer (Mngr), is an incredible manager that made sure our experience was one to remember. We had a party of 14 people, pre ordered as we normally do for production traveling individuals and can I say that everyone received their food, it was all correct, all ready to go when we arrived and they accommodated is on the spot with any changes, additions we needed. I was in the mood for fajitas and went to the Conyers location. The host was inexperienced; he tried to seat me in the bar which I didn't want; it wasn't crowded, so I asked to be seated in the main dining area; he replied "we only have 2 servers; I just seated a party of five, and I have to space the customers out!?!?" I replied "seat me and I'll look at the menu and be patient." He handed me a menu and expected me to stand there and look at the menu?!?! Arrived on a Saturday night to have a seat for two. not only was it empty it was short staffed. we ordered Togo and waited the same amount of if we were seated. then asked could we sit down and just stay and they said no. But then I was escorted to a booth to sit down after I told her that we would take it Togo. this location should be closed until they can accommodate at least two people and not have signs that say they are short staffed. it's very discouraging to come to a place that you frequent and not be happy! You can't expect to much from chili. The best thing was the drink ( mango/strawberry Hennessy margarita with grand marnier) !!! Either then food wasn't that good! I had a buffalo chicken salad, which I just kind of ate the chicken tenders off of. They still taste microwaved though. We ordered a skillet queso that was so bad that I had to send it back.. they brought me the queso and spinach which was way better and was white, because the skillet queso was red. read more

I came in to the bar today to watch the Broncos game. Which I always do! Anytime my team plays, I make sure to come out to Chili's to hang out with Connor or Lannie. I came in today, Lannie was on her way out but she still stopped what she was doing to make our drinks just like we like without even having to ask for them or tell her what we want. I saw her verbally tell TWO different bartenders that were clocking in to take over the bar that she got us started and we were ready to order. I then let the lady bartender know what games I wanted on the tv and her reply to me was "uhhhhh I don't change the tvs" but I have been coming here for more than a year and I know the bartender is in control of the TVs hence why the remotes are back there!! She never did it... I had to ask Lannie on her way out to put my game on which she did and then proceeded to change all the tvs to all the different games so we had a variety to watch from... even though the new bartender told us she isn't in control of them. The whole bar was here to watch footballs games!!! Mind you, my order never got taken in the meantime of ANY of this. I asked Lannie why she isn't bartending for Sunday night football anymore and her answer was "it's not my choice, it's above me. I still love y'all." And girl do we love you and your service which is why I'm making this review. Horrible, horrible, horrible!! Chili's has been a long time favorite chain. We love the variety on the menu. Stopped tonight on our way through the area and this is about as solid experience as we've ever had. The restaurant had made appropriate COVID accommodations and was very clean. The service was great. The food was excellent! Will definitely remember this location for future stops. read more

Okay so I've been to this location a few times & it's always hit or miss. Yesterday when we went we were immediately greeted & seated which was great! Our server came over in a good amount of time but once greeting us & asking what we'd have to drink she looked away & was not listing. As I was pointing to the drink of the month & said "I'll have this" she then turned back around & asked again with a little attitude. I said "well I had pointed at this & said I wanted it but you weren't looking." She took the rest of the table's order. Her service then became better, so maybe it was something else she was upset about. We ordered food & it came out in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered street corn, texas cheese fries & honey chipotle crispers. The corn had sooo much of the seasoning on it & was a little dry but everything else was good. Another person at the table ordered the triple dipper & one of the items was wrong, but was given the correct thing & of course neither of these things is the waitresses fault & she apologized! I have always came to this Chilis but I will never come to this one again. We arrived at 8pm and closing time is 11pm. Party of 6 with 4 of the 6 being children. We were told it was a hour and a half wait but the party that came in 10 minutes behind us was immediately sat. No one offered to split our group up. A bar is what makes and breaks your restaurant and in this case, the new staff has ruined the bar!!! Idk why, but my original bartender that me and my crew come to see WEEKLY has been moved from the bar to the serving floor and boy it is a DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! BIG TIME. My daughters and I went on a lunch date. Straight to the point, the health score was a 94. Extremely cold inside, smelled clean. We did not visit the bathrooms. No hostess or host was up front when we walked in. We were sat after about 5 minutes. Let me say this, the menu is LONG!!! Leaning toward overkill. My lil one ordered the slider meal, cheese only with fries. No cheese were on the sliders. Fried were skimpy. My oldest daughter ordered buffalo clue chicken crispers. They were fresh, they were NOT crispy. My eldest did get the biggest portion of fries. I ordered rancheros chicken taco lunch special. Great flavors, bad execution. Tacos are very messy, chicken mix runny. Flour tortillas soggy. Pico and cilantro added a great touch. My dry portion was SKIMPY. Our server was dull, he was polite though. Not So Great We received the worse service ever at Chili's. From the get-go it was a disaster. I walk with a cane instead of the hostess seating us close to the main entrance she seated us in the bar area in booth next to the servers' station! Geez thanks for your consideration - NOT! The table was dirty from the previous night which begs the question what the heck was the night manager doing other than not paying attention to health codes. We ordered our food and our salads along with our waters arrived fairly decently. Then we waited and waited for our order. We were seated at just before noon and as of 12:25 pm our order still had not arrived. I walked out and my husband paid for our waters and salads. I called to speak to the manager and got hung up on. This has got to be the worst chili's in Georgia. This is my second chance giving them a shot and they won't get a 3rd chance. Our waiter to start with was so scrambled, he forgot straws for our drinks, and when our food finally came he dropped it off never to be seen again. My food was 2 sliders, fries, chicken tortilla soup. The sliders were overcooked, the buns were hard, and they were dry as hell. My soup was way too salty, and my zero coke was so over carbonated. Did I mention, I never saw my waiter again so that I could address these issues. I did leave him a 20 percent tip, only because Georgia pays poverty wages. My mother did a three for me and I just got in the laundry Coupon went through perfectly with no problem no all of a sudden I go there to get the same exact food amount the three for me another entrée and two desserts and use the same coupon but different numbers different scan different email or a different day and all of a sudden the only thing that they tell me that they did was that they cannot use it And they treated me like I was dumb by repeating what the coupon says on the fine print I had the same exact coupon few days ago when we ordered the same exact thing so of course I know exactly what it reads however it went through the first time now I'm using it for to go now it's a problem I have 8 8th St. in Movie difficult time figuring out why they can do nothing for me. I'm spending over $50 worth of food and they couldn't do nothing for me. The food was always great but it seems like the service there is absolutely terrible even months before we had an issue with a lady that was rude to us the entire time Slamming plates, slamming food down on the table. another time with a different lady. The food was actually excellent though it took forever to get through dinner. Hence the lower mark. It seems our server had ADHD...not very good wiith remembering to take our order, fill water glasses, bring silverware, get the check for us...hopefully Ryan is just new and will get better or else he is not going to make it long in this business. Thank you to the bartender who noticed our "waiting" so we got out of there in 2 1/2 hours! The 2 for $20 meals was a really good deal. Had the corn/guacamole appetizer and a very flavorful sirloin steak entree.The accompanying loaded potatoes and green salad were very good. Loved the balsamic citris dressing. My husband had the chicken fingers basket which was a large enough portion he brought some home. The mudslide and margarita cocktails were also very good. read more

I ordered the salmon with rice and broccoli the plate arrived and the rice was cold and so little of it . The broccoli was overcooked. The Salmon was just okay. It could have been better seasoned. The server bought the plate and most of the rice was on the rim of the plate and there was no tomatoes on it like in the picture. I always tip and tip well, however, this restaurant in Conyers gets the lowest stars and no tip. For food that is below average on their best day (but the wife just loves one of their overpriced salads ) , you would think they would answer the phone when people do call. For over four months my Chili's experience begins when I call to order (No one takes the call and I'm left listening to their stupid commercial), I get in the vehicle drive all the way there and...yep! still no answer. Next, I get to go in to place my order (where I see NO reason NOT to answer the phone!) while placing my order, she ASKS FOR MY PHONE NUMBER! Why? I ask, no one here seems to know how to use one! Having ordered, I then go back out to sit in the parking lot while the food is being improperly prepared with no doubt a side of spittle. (Thus having time to post this review!) Figured I'll go out tonight and landed up in Chili's. 2 other places (Olive garden, Red lobster) were more than an hour wait. Stepped into Chili's, no wait, able to seat in least than a minute. Team work between waiter and waitresses was magnificent. Asked for a refill and ended up with 2 refills at one time. Lovely lol. The food was great. Fried pickles was good. Terrible! Chicken was undercooked, which has actually never happened to me before. I got 5 fries. So there is the food aspect of it. We had 2 waitresses, im assuming one was new. Well you would think that the trainer would help the trainee, but really they took our order and never came back. We had to wait an hour to get check, then we had to split the check which was our fault but it took half an hour more to get the check back, 15 minutes to get our cards after that. When we were finally getting up to leave we noticed that there were dishes everywhere. No one bothered to even clear some of the clutter when we were finished. NOPE never going back. Food= 9.5 Service= 0 To start off I usually go to Applebee's but the service and food at the conyers location (Applebee's) was getting out of hand; therefore, I decided to try something new. I went with several friends that I haven't seen in awhile. It was Saturday 08/23/2015 around 9:30 PM. Ok, to start off, we were swiftly greeted by our waitress Megan. Things seemed to be okay at first, but went downhill quickly. We were placed in an unfortunate spot right underneath the air conditioning vent. The issue is the vent was leaking water, and no attempt was made to assist us correctly. My friend told the waitress Megan that the roof was dripping water. Megan's response was "That is just the A/C leaking, if you can just scoot a little bit over". In her section only two other tables for our group size were empty, but they were dirty. I'm not sure if that played a factor in her just wanting us to scoot over, so she wouldn't have to clean them. She assisted in moving one of the toddlers chairs. I'm easy going so my friends and I scoot over as well. Now it drips again on my shirt this time and my friends shirt as well. At this point I'm thinking this can drip in my food or drink. It took a good amount of time to even locate the waitress. As soon I get up to look to see if another section is available she appears. We inform her once more and ask can we please go to a clean table on the other side, and she apologizes and states that the area I looked to move to was not her section. She apologizes and let's us know she will clean one of the tables now. I'm not positive but I believe the manager may have walked by and apologized and said that Megan was going to clean the table and kept walking. He was dressed different from everyone else, from what I saw. I expected more concern, to ask how everything was and to see if there was anything we needed. We moved to a clean and dry table in Megan's section. I ordered the grilled smoked chicken burrito... The food itself was FANTASTIC, tastes awesome ... On the other hand our service was unacceptable. Anytime I needed something she was nowhere to be found. I had about 5 refills and had to literally get her attention and ask for every single refill. At one point I walked my glass to the cashier at the kiosk and she appeared out of nowhere assuming I needed a refill took the glass out of my hand. She did not ask ONCE if my friends and I needed anything. She was active within her section speaking to two other tables except ours. She only had 3 tables to service. She would pass us at least 2-3 times and not check on us at all... I'm not big on the racial card, I like to believe people can just be either good or bad. Though I must point out that there was a Caucasian couple behind our table getting tons of attention. We are black and I did feel discriminated against. She spent up to any amount of 5-10 minutes at a time chatting with them while not checking on us once, until we turned around and raise our hand for service. That also made me uncomfortable because I feel the employee doesn't wanna be bothered by me. I feel when I have to request things and address issues that they become more irritated. Thus the paranoia of the chances of something being done to my food or drink. I've seen and heard too many stories to not worry. I was eavesdropping and peeping in on the conversation which I shouldn't have been, but I did catch the waitress Megan saying "I'm not racist or anything, but (then she covers her mouth while saying what she says)." Only one of my friends noticed and they felt uncomfortable about it. I just feel she was not attentive enough to my party and unprofessionally friendly with the other... Even giving the female of the couple a hug when they departed at the same time as we did. I don't mind you making friends but your job does come first and the quality of your service should be a top priority. When it came time to pay, Megan came to life and started asking questions and speaking to us creating conversation. I feel after everything had happened, her ending hospitality was only to ensure herself a tip, which we didn't give. As I was leaving I noticed another African American woman having to get up from a different section to request something as well. So once again I'm not sure if it was personal or the waiters and waitresses themselves had poor service in general. I did take offense to the events that conspired. I can say Aside from the great food, I will never personally recommend this Chili's to anyone, or return to this Chili's in Conyers, Georgia myself. read more
