Unacceptable Food Safety Issue and Poor Management Response Our experience at Conyers Restaurant Bar & Grill was unacceptable and deeply concerning, not just because of what happened, but because of how it was handled. After our food was served and while we were eating, I noticed something unusual inside the maple syrup canister that was placed in the center of the table. Knowing my uncle had ordered pancakes, I checked his plate and saw the same issue there. Upon closer inspection, it was clear there were ants inside the syrup canister and on the plate itself. This is a serious food safety concern. Photos and videos were taken at the table. We immediately informed a staff member, who appeared genuinely concerned and went to notify the manager. When the manager came to the table, who was also our server, he simply asked what was going on and did not acknowledge the issue until I asked if he had already been told. He then offered a brief apology and asked if my uncle wanted more pancakes, which showed a complete lack of understanding of the seriousness of the situation. The manager did not return to the table afterward. After about 15 to 20 minutes, another staff member came by and asked if everything was okay, forcing us to explain the situation again. The only resolution offered was 20 percent off the meal, despite this being a food safety issue affecting a table of nine people. My parents have frequented this restaurant since it opened and have been regular customers over the past year or two. After this experience, they will not be returning. Supporting local businesses matters, but customer safety, accountability, and integrity matter more. This experience made it clear those standards were not upheld. read more

That some of the food may taste bland because they don't much salt.I took off 2 stars because of the drink. I regularly go to the establishment. They are friendly, efficient, and the food is amazing. Kudos to the cook. It's always consistent. Their menu is huge. We've been in Georgia for three months and have eaten at probably 20 restaurants. This was the worse experience we've had so far. I ordered a Monte Cristo and was served a piece of soggy French Toast with ham and cheese on top. The owner admitted people have complained about this very sandwich because "this is how we make it." The waiters even chased me for the fries that she said came with it. The chicken wings were so small that ALL OF THEM would fit in the palm of one hand. There's a photo attached of the FOURTEEN DOLLAR plate for five. The service was horrible. We waited for at least 10 minutes before anyone took a drink order. The waitress was clearly annoyed by us asking to order appetizers and actually discouraged it. We should have listened since they came AFTER our meals arrived. They even charged an additional 3.25% because we used a credit card! You would be better going to McDonalds. read more

When you don't want fast food but not sure what you want??? This is the go to ontop shop for a great variety of food. I had the Pollo Favorito and my daughter had the Berria (sp) Tacos both selections were great. The portions were also great along with the great service upon entry. The Ambiance was nice. They have a great space of love them to maybe consider having a live band maybe do first Fridays have a band with some dancing I think there is a market here. This was utterly disappointing. Don't bother going. You walk in to a dismal ambiance and that is your clue that it will not get any better. Ordered what was supposed to be a Monte Cristo, only to find out it was two thin pieces of French toast with thin ham, crumbled turkey and cheese on top of an open faced sandwich that was not fried, battered, or had jelly. That should not be called a Monte Cristo, false advertising. The chicken sandwich was dry, bland, and thin. I felt I could have done better making food at home. terrible resturant. they charged me 25$ (with tax & 3.99 gratuity) for a meal and a drink and required a tip after i already paid. i gave them 2$ in cash but i recently got a notification that the charge on my card was changed to 27$. i got scammed out of 2 bucks. i dont care if its "just two dollars," its MY two dollars. service was okay but the food was a little questionable. i got chicken and waffles but the waffles tasted weird. dont reccomend, do not go read more

Conyers, GA - you need this place! We (6 adults and two children) ordered takeout for dinner. It was a long and complicated order. From taking the order to executing it, the service was great. When we picked up, Jersom (sp?), an owner, personally and patiently went through the whole order with us to make sure it was perfect. It was. Then we saw the home-baked cakes on the counter. We had to have a slice. The carrot cake was awesome, and I'm sure the other two were awesome as well. And the food. Every person, down to the kids, loved what they got and we only wished we could go back soon. But we were travelling and leaving the next day. The menu was amazing - simply something for every taste and want. This restaurant has it all, and needs to be supported. Today was our first time eating at the Conyers Restaurant Bar & Grill. The food was wonderful, reasonably priced and clearly exceeded our expectations. The eggs benedict was perfect, and so was the western omelette -- not to mention a great cup of coffee. The restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere is simple and very nice, and the service was exceptional. This is a local restaurant that deserves our support and is several notches above any restaurant I know of in the Conyers/Snellville/Loganville area. It's really refreshing to find a great new restaurant that is not a chain -- not to mention it deserves the mark of five stars. read more
