I was pleasantly surprised by Chili's. Their food was better than anticipated since it's a large chain restaurant. The restaurant was very busy during peak dinner hours but we were seated right away. Our waiter was helpful and made good suggestions. To start, we had the triple dipper with the fried mozzarella and the cheese pull was as long as advertised on TikTok. The visit was worth it just for the fried mozzarella! I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas for an entree which came out sizzling. The portion size is substantial and the sides added to the value. I'd add a lime next time to add a little extra flavor but the fajitas were still tasty.

Went to Chili's recently for the first time - had good service and the inside ambiance was clean and was as expected. The margarita was tasty and at $5 was a good deal. The burger and fries were decent but were very reasonably priced at $11 including a soda. The cheese sticks in the Triple Dipper had an incredible cheese pull! The southwest egg rolls and chicken strips were not very flavorful and I would skip next time.

This was my husband and I's first time going to Chilis, so we really didn't have any expectations. Started off strong with a deliciously made espresso martini which was amazing! Shoutout to whoever was bartending that night! Things got a little iffy when our server kept messing up our order. Even charged us for items we didn't get. Perhaps it was a long day for her. Other than that we enjoyed our experience.

I'll admit, I gave in to going to eat at a Chilis due to all of the TikTok around their Triple dipper. I took myself and I out to lunch and were seated right away. I order the Santa Fe chicken salad, my sister got the old timer and we shared the triple dipper with big mouth burger, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. The food came out extremely fast and with the waitress being the only one waiting on folks, was EXTREMELY attentive and knowledgeable about eat dish. The look of Chilis is your classic sports bar but the TVs weren't loud or distracting at all. The food was DELICIOUS and was your typical bar food! And the salad paired with the triple dipper was so much food that I left full all day! I will definitely be back! I forgot to take pictures but I got what was left of the tasting salsa and chips! lol

I always forget about Chili's and it's been years since I've been here, but kept seeing videos of these mozzarella sticks all over Tik Tok, so had to try them. What really got me was they come in Nashville hot flavor (rare to ever see flavors of mozzarella sticks). Started with a 3 piece Nashville hot mozzarella stick order for our appetizer. Came out quickly. These were huge and thick, however, I felt no taste of Nashville hot. The amount of cheese in this mozzarella stick is unreal- literally thick cheese in every bite. We enjoyed chips and salsa as well. For a meal we split 3 piece chicken tenders with fries. I love how the tenders are crunchy. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I've been hearing amazing things about these mozz sticks and my curiosity got the best of me. I was not disappointed. They were very tasty. The thickness of the cheese is comical! I completely appreciate the size of ranch it is served with. Will be back for the mozz sticks alone! Add them to the permanent menu! We had a very friendly server too.

The service was great! Our order was taken right away and got our food within 20 mins. The triple dipper is truly the best!!!!!

I tried the Nashville hot cheese-sticks because I've been seeing them all over TikTok. So i ordered uber eats and had it delivered. It came hot so i was pleased that i didn't have to re heat them, but I was expecting for it to be crunchy like in the videos I've seen and also to be very cheesy. Instead, the cheese was kind of stale, and there was only a slight crunch. Honestly, after the third cheese stick, it doesn't really taste the best. Maybe if you get them immediately after they are fried and only two of them it might have been better. It's great to try just once but I wouldn't get it again.

Enjoyed my well-done Bacon Rancher Burger, topped with crispy bacon. Our polite and attentive waitress made the wait worthwhile. A friendly staff member even accommodated my request for chopped jalapeños, a thoughtful touch.

Overall the food was okay, and I intentionally avoided most dishes under the fuertes section not only because they were pricey but also because I wanted to see how much care they put into dishes that customers probably relatively order less, so I ordered quite a few dishes under the para la mesa section. In terms of highlight, the best dish in my opinion was actually the pistachio tres leches. The milk was definitely there, and there was a good amount of pistachio flavor immersed into the cake. I thought that texturally it worked very well, too, because the softness of the cake provided a good contrast with the pistachio bits on the top. The esquites were great as well, with the tajin crema providing both a sense of creaminess and just a tiny bit of spice, and the manchego cheese giving flavor. The baja fish tacos contained a good amount of white fish and the chipotle crema added flavor. Personally I liked the fact that the brisket tacos had a good amount of smoked brisket meat, but my friend who ordered the dish didn't enjoy it because she didn't think the salsa was flavorful enough, which I could understand but disagreed with. Other dishes were leaning towards okay to meh, such as the papas machas, which had fried yukon potatoes containing very good crispy texture but way too salty flavor, especially if the potatoes were tiny and had a lot of oil at the bottom. The brussel sprouts did not have enough lime vinaigrette so it was practically flavorless, especially since it was probably deep fried without additional seasoning, which also caused some pieces to be hard to chew. The grilled snapper itself was almost flavorless, and relied on the salsa for flavor completely. I didn't understand it because it looked like it was grilled in achiote, so I assumed it followed the tikin xic dish in Yucatán Mexico, with pickled red onions and all. Maybe the achiote paste didn't have enough spices in it for marinading, or maybe the time wasn't enough. Even though as of now I wouldn't actively recommend this establishment to others yet, I would still like to visit myself to try some dishes that my other friends have hyped up, namely the enchiladas de camote and verdes.

Luckily we got there in time and I got a Chilango margarita and some nachos. The margarita was DELICIOUS, not too sour but flavorful. The nachos were pretty good: the toppings were well distributed and lots of flavor but I didn't love the combo of beans and sour cream, but I guess both are authentic to Mexico. We sat in the patio and enjoyed the beautiful lake view as we caught up, which was great, and I plan to come back! Pro tip: they validate parking! Turn on Thomas and pull into the beach club underground parking and bring your parking ticket to the restaurant for validation.

I love this place, and the food is on par with a lot of Mexican food in California. Most recently, we went to celebrate a birthday. We go here because they are veggie friendly. We ordered the veggie enchiladas and I got a veggie wet burrito. Everything was delicious. My only complaint would be that things could be a bit saucier...but that's a preference thing and we get salsa on the side for it. We also got chips and guac -- delicious as well! I will say that the portions, especially the burrito are VERY generous. I think I should have shared it! It was pretty buzzy, which was great to see given the depths of winter we were in. Go here!!

It's a bit whitewashed and leans more Cal-Mex than anything you'd find in Mexico, but I'm not complaining. I love a good California burrito and asada fries, so this style has its place (especially in Minnesota). Service can be slow. It took us about an hour to get two burritos yesterday and the restaurant didn't look busy. Maybe they were just short staffed. My main issue is the salsa. They limit you to one packet per person, and it's not the slightest bit spicy. And where are the limes? This place desperately needs a salsa bar with real options and some heat. Bump up the salsa selection and stop rationing it, and this would be a solid spot. For now, I'll keep getting this to go and buying my own salsa and limes.
