Okay so I love Chili's. I never really change my meal order (I always get original Chicken Crispers- they're SO tender and juicy and fluffy and I just love them). So tonight I ordered my Chicken Crispers along with a margarita and the Chocolate Molten dessert thingy. Everything was great. But that's not really what I want to talk about. My waitress (I don't remember her name) was gassing me up today at my table and it was really nice. Like, she was so awesome. First she complimented my Pokéball backpack, then my makeup, and at one point she even brought a co-worker over to compliment my highlighter and it fjust felt really good. I struggle with depression and self-esteem issues so when someone is that nice to me, it helps so much. I wouldn't recommend this Chili's. Normally they mess up our order, but hair in our food and cole slaw that tastes like it's been dipped in the toilet is this last straw. After a very very bad visit a year ago we decided to give this Chilis another try. It was worse this time. Service was incredibly bad. Food was terrible. I mean really terrible. For a new dining experience there were no napkins. After we asked for napkins several times, and thirty minutes later, our waitperson went to the restroom and brought us restroom paper towels. Waited 25 minutes for appetizers and then ordered the southwest cesar salad. They added Shrimp (which luckily I am not allergic to) but it was over cooked. The chicken that I did cook was ice cold. Sent it back and since it was late asked for it to go. Got it back and all they did was put the salad already sent back into the container so now the salad and tortilla where soggy. I live near this Chilis and used to come weekly. They went through management changes and the service went down hill. The last time (4 months) we waited two hours for food and then we're told we had to pay for our cold food we did not eat because It was so bad. We attempted to talk to manager Liz but she never came out of the kitchen. This time we go tonight to give them another try. We wait 17 minutes for drinks and when they come my husbands beer was warm and my drink had watered down ice. we get up to leave as we were hungry with no server in site. I go to ask for the manager and surpris it's Liz. I explain my situation and she promptly tells me I don't ever have to come back. Can we please get a new restaurant in this space!!!! read more

We've been to this Chili's many times. The last several times the food has gone downhill. The max and cheese was cold, multiple times. We gave it one last chance today. Terrible. Service took a long time. Coke was flat. The chicken my daughter and I had was rubbery. Like precooked, and then microwaved. Corn on the cob was cold. It wouldn't melt the butter they piled on top of it. The cheese on the chicken was coagulated and old looking. Only decent thing were the fries. Nasty. There are too many good restaurants around to pay $70 for this and then go home and have to feed my kids again bc it was inedible. read more

As far as food is concerned, it's Chili's, so it shouldn't be a surprise.... I've gone to this particular location about 3 times, and each time the problem is the same: the staff is horrible. There's no other way to put it. I am not overly demanding when it comes to service, as long as you are competent, and fairly attentive, i've good. I have never had even mediocre service at this location. I went with a party of 4 on a Saturday night around 7pm. It was not overly busy, plenty of open tables. We waited for 5 minutes for someone to actually come up to the front to seat us, and she looked at us like we were totally out of place. Um, ok. We were seated next to the bar, without being asked if that was ok. Our sever was, apparently, doubling as the bartender, so she was constantly back and forth from the bar to the maybe three other occupied tables in the bar area, while the manager and other servers seemed to mull around without purpose. Sitting next to the bar had another drawback when a football game came on the tv, and someone turned the volume up to an INSANE level for a restaurant. Yes, I understand it was the bar area, but if you are going to turn up the volume THAT much, you should give your customers a choice of where to sit. After being seated, the server came and took our drink order, and with an order of three waters and an iced tea, still managed to get it wrong with four waters. She also came later and "topped off" one of the waters with sweet tea. Fantastic. We weren't ready to order when she came the first time, and we should have just ordered then, because it took her 20 minutes to get back to take the order. I know we are all in such a hurry these days, wanting everything immediately, but I did not expect to spend an hour and a half in Chili's, when there were not a ton of other customers, and we ordered BURGERS. Our family went to this Chili's for a late Sunday supper yesterday. We have eaten at other Chili's across the country, and the older one nearby in Augusta with good food and service. However, we were sorely disappointed in this Chili's location. The stage was set when we walked in and the bartender, who became our waitress, acted like she didn't want us to be coming in that late. She generally ignored us and basically brought the food, the drinks, and the check. She earned the smallest to I have given in years. My wife ordered a mojito, which was tasty, but gone in three swallows due to the glass being full of ice. I guess the bartender would rather make drinks. The cheese fries were good, but fries at to low a temperature and thus soggy. My wife and son chose to have salads as sides and were up charged a dollar each without notifying us of the charge. My wife ordered her salad without tomatoes, as she is sensitive to them, but were included anyway. My son's corn on the cob was refrigerator cold. They brought out the wrong chicken fingers on his order and brought him fries, even though he said he wanted only corn. I ordered the small sirloin, which was perfectly cooked, this being the highlight of an otherwise miserable meal. The broccoli was bland; the potatoes were horrible and tasted like those from a box. I don't know if the staff wanted to go home early, or what. If I take my family to Chili's again, it will be at the Augusta location. read more

My wife and I go to Chili's at least once a week to visit our favorite bartender, Naomi, and enjoy drinks at the bar. The food is decent for a chain restaurant, but the new smokehouse platter now has beef brisket, which is a welcome addition to their ribs. I didn't care too much for their smoked sausages. My wife and I enjoy sitting at the bar and chatting with Naomi, who also makes a great margarita and always ensures our drinks are full and our food is served quickly. The only criticism I have is that for the past month or so it's been very hot at he bar. I'm guessing that their air conditioner isn't working well, but it's very uncomfortable to sit there in the heat. Other than that, it's a great neighborhood bar with a great bartender and friendly locals to chat with. My wife and I love going there!! read more

What can I say? It's a Chili's. We went here for an afternoon lunch, and the staff was courteous. They even told us when they were out of an ingredient for one of the vegetarian dishes, and offered to make vegetarian fajitas instead at no extra cost, and give us more chips and salsa on the house as an apology. The fajitas turned out to be great, and the shrimp soft tacos that the mother-in-law and I had were delicious. The shrimp was not overcooked, and the sauce on the tacos complemented the pico de gallo nicely. Refills on drinks were fast, and the server was nice and attentive. Had lunch today with my son and his girl friend. I had a delicious guacamole burger that looked exactly like the one on the menu. The three of us shared the skillet queso dip (avocado) with nachos. Food was barely warm, wings only half covered in sauce, big burger bites were chewy like plastic and the chicken crispers were anything but "crisp"- more like boiled and slimy. First time visit to this location. I'd give 5 stars but only for some of the friendly staff but not for the service and not for the food. We weren't expecting too much; it is a Chili's restaurant. First the drinks...the frozen margarita came creamy and had a very strange taste almost like it was made with the wrong liquor like a vodka instead of tequila. I sent it back but of course was charged for it anyway. How hard is it in Evans to get a great frozen margarita? The appetizer was a waste of money. We ordered spinach queso dip and all we could taste was the cast iron skillet and the chips were so stale. Just awful. We had to wait about 20-25 minutes for that because he dropped the first one in the kitchen and sought sympathy from us because he burned his hand. He could have spared us this information. I had ordered a bowl meal and ended up with some platter which wasn't even on the menu. One hamburger came but we waited 30 minutes for the other one. We didn't have a complicated order; we were only three people. My husband and I won't eat if the other doesn't have their food. The waiter offered to keep my food under the heat lamp....really? That's not a solution. The waiter kept blaming the kitchen staff - way to go. As a customer I don't want to hear a staff member throw another under the bus AND I don't think i should be burdened with it. A waitress who was waiting other tables came to help out and entertained us, trying to diffuse the situation. She was nice. The family behind us had grievances similar to ours; the manager came to resolve and came to us next. Each time the waiter would pass by, that's exactly what he did; just pass by never stopped to check on us. There were other people who came in after us and waited no more than about 10-15 minutes and had their food. We were there for over two hours and the only thing we were comp'd for was my meal which by the way was awful. The tortilla was so hard I actually had to saw it open to get the insides which was better left alone. The burgers were briquettes and the waiter didn't ask how we like them cooked which was fine because a little pink in the middle is good. But nope, burnt to a point where the burger had no meat flavor. Over two hours in a place like Chili's just isn't worth it. We had a tough week and were looking forward to reconnecting with the family over some good food without further stresses otherwise we would have just walked out. A microwave dinner at home with a beer would have been better. Lesson learned. read more

We sat out on the porch for lunch. The chairs are very uncomfortable- they make you feel like you are laying down to eat. One of the tables had ants crawling everywhere. Our food took an incredibly long time to one out- all we had was soup and salad. Also, the ranch was watery. The bathrooms were clean. I guess that's one positive. read more

Fail. Wilted lettuce in the salad, ribs were dry, the chicken enchilada soup which is my favorite tasted powdery, the quest cheese was congealed and this appetizer came out after the meal. Yikes. First off, Chili's app download now!!! Had the weirdest craving for Chili's and decided to try and place an order off of my iPhone. The app told me my meal would be ready at exactly 6:08pm. But, being familiar with usual Chili's service, I figured my food would be ready closer to 6:30 if that. The app also asks for your car make and model, which I thought was weird. Anyway, I arrive around 6:15 expecting to wait, but to my surprise, as I walk in, I see the server run to the kitchen, grab my food, and greet me at the counter. So, to sum it up, the to-go service at this location is superb. I also have to say that their new guacamole burger is pretty tasty. Oh, and as a warning, the Chili Texas Cheese Fries look good, but they contain close to 2000 calories per serving, so unless you have over 4 people in your party, I'd avoid ordering them! Unfortunately, I didn't know this until I started scarfing down my half order that I got with my burger. Anyway, overall, one of my best Chili's experiences of all time, and I'll probably be using the app quite a bit now! read more

Hubby and I came to this location since it is near our home. Immediately greeted at the front by a younger gentleman (late teens, early twenties and seated within 2 minutes upon entry. It was a Friday night around 8 and the dinner rush was slowing down so our waitress was finishing up a bunch of tables. She took our drink orders and waited about 10 minutes while she finished the other tables. After this, the service was excellent. She was able to check up on us and clear the table of excess plates, etc. Our waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu items. We even had the manager come by to check on us. The food was excellent; I had the tortilla soup, cheese fries and chicken pasta. Everything came out as expected from Chilis. They have $2.99 margaritas on Mondays and $3.99 all other days. Not bad. I have been here many times before and never had a problem but today Oct 30 2016 was different. It is a Sunday so there are not many people eating. We wait a few minutes at the hostess stand (was empty)for the bartender to come down and seat us. After we are seated We wait 20 minutes and nothing. As we got up to leave, there was 2 booths full of servers hanging out. I will not be back again to this location, I have been here 3 times before and this is the only time this has happened. The last time I ate at a Chili's was back in 2012 and I was not impressed. A friend of mine suggested we have lunch at this Chili's and I agreed to give Chili's a second chance. This location at 700 Ronald Reagan Drive Evans Georgia 30809 is fairly new. The restaurant was clean and we were greeted at the door and seated right away. Our server was a gentleman name Michael T. He was very polite and took our order right away. It was a Saturday afternoon, so the place was not crowded. My friend and I both had a 12 ounce Ribeye steak, loaded mash potatoes and broccoli with sweet tea to drink. Yeah yeah I know that's a pretty heavy lunch, but my friend and I love steak. What can I say lol. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and everything on the plates was hot. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. The loaded mash potatoes were great as well as was the steamed broccoli. The tea was okay, but I live in the south so it's pretty hard for a restaurant to serve ice tea that would compare to mommas sweet ice tea lol. My review of Chili's back in 2012 was not very favorable and that's why it took me four years to give them another try. I was really impressed with this location. It won't take me another four years to visit Chili's again. So for now Chili's you have me back as a customer. Please don't screw it up. This visit compared to my last one was...well, a little bit better. Our waiter Alun, was very attentive and talkative...which in this case wasn't a bad thing, and it wasn't awkward. I think that we've all had that waiter/waitress that was try a little TOO hard. Food was what I expected from my last time in, it just wasn't over the top memorable...just blah. Old timer was ok, the bun felt and tasted a bit stale. The fries that came with it were under done and tasted like a slightly cooked potato. But again based on my last visit...I wasn't surprised. Had seen commercials about the 48% more meat on there Fajitas. So went there for diner. Service was great waiter was on key, and did a fantastic job. Manager was ok But the steak Fajitas were the worse I ever had, So fatty and tuff could not even chew it. The chicken was so dry. Was very disappointed. It doesn't matter how much more meat you add if its not edible. Manager took off the appetizer off the bill wow a whole $3.00. I feel the meal should of come off and I would of paid for the appetizer it was much better than the meal. So went home and cooked myself some dinner. read more

When I walked in to the location I was not greeted. So I walked over to the bar, to my surprise there was no bartender. She was sitting with the other servers at a table on the other side of the restaurant. When she finally came up I noticed she didn't have any teeth. After ordering I listened to her complain about old management and how they aren't making money like they use to. New flash it's because of poor service your not making money. This is the first impression I have. No greet when walked , 5 mins sitting at the bar the bartender came up with no teeth and what teeth she did have were black. And in store restaurant drama. There are two Chili's in town, one in Evans and one in Augusta next to Pier One and Kirkland's shopping plaza. My husband and I eat at the Evans restaurant often. The servers are nice, but the food is average. Not great and not terrible. Our go to order is the triple dipper: southwestern egg rolls, buffalo wings and hamburger sliders. Horrible. I provided lunch for a nearby medical office and they requested Chili's. This was my first, and now last, experience with this store. Although it was noon, they were not busy. The staff was pleasant, but not efficient. Customer service is not a strong point. I asked a manager about a discount for medical sales reps, and was told he couldn't help me. The food was mediocre - nondescript salad, and a very bland and greasy party platter. The high prices did not match food quality. $6.50 for a gallon of tea is ridiculous. There are several nearby restaurants of the same calibre, but with exceedingly better service, food and value. Experience Chili's in Evans by just driving by. read more

The place is finally a great place to eat! A couple years ago my husband and I moved to the area and Chili's was the closest place to get a nice cold beer so we went often. We learned quickly that the food was not consistent and ordered food less and less. They must have hired a new kitchen staff because now it is great! My only complaint is that I sometimes overhear the staff complain while they're in the bar area waiting for drinks, but the staff seems much more professional then they used to be. If you stopped going because of the bad service or food, I suggest you give them another try, they're so much better! read more

After waiting almost 45 minutes and having to ask about our food, we were told it was being remade by the manager and they would be out to apologize. When the food came out it was apparent it wasn't made fresh. Everything was warm to cold. They did comp the meal but no manager ever came out. The staff didn't really seem to care.
