I have been coming to this Chilis for years and by far, had the worst to go experience. My wife ordered chicken/steak fajitas, jacked up with queso. Restaurant never even told us they didn't have queso! Just sent me home without it. My burgers were made incorrectly. After driving 25 mins home, 25 mins back, I asked for a refund and a remake (as it was only fair given the time there, waiting, back home, etc). The restaurant has forever lost my families business. The only reason I'm giving this place three stars is because of the awesome waitress Nikita and the delicious molten lava cakes. The place overall was dirty and our food was cold and took so long to get to us. The bathrooms were also gross. But Nikita made sure we were having a great time and was really sweet and made us feel like family. She gave my grandmother a whole extra soup and replaced my cheese fries with fresh ones. We sat ourselves at the bar hoping we would have a speedy service to our surprised was a nightmare! By the time we sat down we knew what we wanted to eat and drink and the bartender told us she's just taking drinks you are not busy but ok! Got my drink! Glass dirty! & she tried to explain...no ma'am I'm not drinking from that! I need you to make me another one. She was pist but.....ok! Either you fix another bc I'm not drinking it! She remade it! I told her I wanted a Coke Zero no ice she brought me a Coke Zero wit ice I told her that my drink was wrong! I don't want no ice! Again she's frustrated for what bc you can't perform your job! Not my problem! The topper hair was in our food not one plate but two and you are trying explain Are you kidding me! You just drop these plates off and it's not our hair.....not to mentioned she brought the wrong sides out! Supposedly told them to remake our plates! Overall an average experience. Server was nice but could have been a little faster in his service. My husband & I got the 2 for $20 deal. We had the Texas Cheese Fries for an appetizer. For the meal I ate the Cajun Chicken Pasta (normally a miss at other Chili restaurants) and it was fantastic! My husband got the Bacon Chicken Ranch Quesadillas, which tasted fine but my hubby struggled to find any chicken and didn't taste the ranch. He would have gone with the chicken crispers had he known it would have turned out like that. Also some of his silverware was dirty, so watch out for that. We were also intrigued by Chili's new touchscreen tablets at each table. It's a neat concept as it includes menu information, jukebox, games & apps (for a fee of course), but we mostly liked the ability to pay at the end of the meal so we didn't have to wait for the server. Very convenient. Random commentary: one of their TV's had the lifetime movie network on. Don't know why they think their guests would want to watch that. The other TV's I saw had TNT and Fox News. Who was very pleasant by the way and I hate I didn't catch her name while grabbing menus the hostess walked and states that management says it's an HOUR wait for all new tables, an hour wait within a dead restaurant on a Monday. Not sure if they are looking for new staff or they just had the Monday Blues but definitely don't think their corporate office would appreciate them turning away business. read more

I went to start eating & noticed, the asparagus was cold,the bottoms not trimmed. They served me warmed whole Spears of asparagus. The salmon was so dry I had to cut it with a knife just to get a piece. At that point, I requested the kitchen manager from our waitress. We waited 10 minutes after she went back to get him & said he'd be out in a few minutes. I had to get out of the booth, walk onto the serving floor just to get him to come out of the office to speak with us. When he came out, I asked him why it took me having to go back to get him, he tells us that the waitress never told him. We know 100% he was lying. our waitress crystal did everything she could to make us comfortable, I would like to know she will not get in trouble for a horrific leader in that location. On top of his dismissive demeanor to your customers, we wanted to pay for the food our son ate and our drinks and he just comped the whole thing in an obvious attempt to get rid of us. The waitress was apologetic but I really believe this location has extremely poor management. We are 52 minute into this visit and we STILL don't have food. When the first delivery of food arrived, it was wrong, had to be sent back. Still waiting on the rest of the food and the reorder.. we are now 1 hr 7 min at the table. (I know this because of the time they called us back into the restaurant on my phone) The reordered steak came back over cooked. And the second steak came with the wrong side (fries instead of Broccoli). Ok. 1:37 min into this and they just told us that they are out of ice cream (7 year olds birthday) so no ice cream. We finally gave up, ate whatever was served and tried to salvage the evening and get the kids home to bed for school the next day BTW, the correct side never showed. . $45.61 and a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience!!! I spoke to the manager and was told the A/C, freezer, and signage were all damaged in the tornado 2.5 weeks ago and even though this is a franchise location, corporate has yet to OK the repairs. They were both tasty and we got them fast. We had the Cajun chicken pasta and the mango chicken. Both were pretty good. We had driven to Birmingham to pick up a piece of furniture on Sunday. On the way back, we pulled into Full Moon BBQ at 11:00 but the lines were just too long, so we detoured to Chili's. My friend was from out of the country, so I thought it ok to let him try the chain. Not surprisingly, less than a block from the BBQ place, we found Chili's nearly empty. Four or five tables had two people each at them, and the music was blaring too loud as always to imply some happening joint instead of letting mostly senior adults hear their own dinner conversations. We were seated immediately and our host left. I interpreted the menu to my friend and he left to wash his hands. I waited for our server to bring cutlery, and to take drink orders, or bring water, anything to acknowledge our arrival. I waited. And waited. Finally, I stood up, like a Meerkat sentinel, and scanned the room. No servers. Two in the bar. One chatting with the host. None with the diners. I could see into the kitchen somewhat. Two bellied up to the counter and waiting. None on the floor. I stood for some minutes. Nothing. Went to the host station to ask where our server was. He sent one right over. It was Frank, the young guy chatting with them. Frank was great. He was right there, polite, responsive, if a little inexperienced. Frank deserves your tips. I tipped him well. We ordered a thee-meat BBQ combination, also their chips and queso. While waiting for the meal, the silverware arrived. They were borderline filthy, slopped through an industrial dishwasher and coated with a film of sludge that had to be wiped off to see the metal again. Ick. The queso and chips arrived. Very good. But, there was a scoop of guacamole in the dip, sitting there. Had never seen that before. Tried it. The scoop was literally putrid. Called Frank back over. Strongly encouraged him to go to the kitchen to taste the guacamole himself. He came back apologetic and said it had soured and they were making more. His inexperience kept him from instantly removing ours, but we had a full dinner coming so didn't want to wast another dip we couldn't eat. The meal was fine, but the ticket came and they had not taken the queso off. I politely asked him to ask the manager to do so. It was. No comps, just the removal of what was inedible. Franks was very nice. On the way out, we weren't spoken to as we passed the host station. He was busy, head down, texting away a personal message on his phone.
