They want you to download their app and open the menu in the app. When I requested not one, but two menu's for me and my wife the hostess argued with me they they weren't supposed to give them out. Also, they send me coupons by email a couple of times a week, but when you try to use them you're told if you dare to order the two for a set price menu, you can't redeem the coupons. This is more of a comment then a review. My family and I went to Chili's on Father's Day only to find out it was closed--at 6 p.m. -- take out only and front doors were locked. Still do not know why, maybe a shortage of workers because of poor "blue" state policies of people making more money at home still than taking a job...not sure, but I suspect that. However, there was no sign of explanation to be found--nothing on the website. Sat the bar and Fernando was the bar tender, impressed! He was fast, and friendly checking up on me repeatedly, Very welcoming! I ordered a Stella, chili beens, and Cesar salad. Beer came quick and food was timely. Beer was cool and refreshing, salad was perfect crisp lettuce, not drowning in dressing and croutons were nice and crunchy. Chili beans were the area of opportunity, too much topping and too salty, did not finish. I would liked to have been offered an alternative. We went to this Chili's on the 21st of July. The common sense service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff appears to be overwhelmed and just going thru the motions. We ordered an appetizer that was brought to our table with some items burnt and unedible. Instead of replacing the (whole platter) as a show of goodwill. They only replaced a couple of the pieces. Trying to explain to one of the managers what just happened only elicited blank stares and a dazed expression. Every time we've dined there recently, without fail, we have some type of issue. Hi, I am usually a pretty big fan or Chilis. Unfortunately, my few trips to this Chilis have never really lived up to my experiences at other locations. To begin with, parking to go to this Chilis is a nightmare. The competition for spaces from other restaurants and retailers in this complex definitely make parking to come and eat here way more difficult. This location does also some to be busier than most I have been too. There is most always a line during peak meal times, and I never seem to be able to find the call ahead number when I want to come here. The service seems to be nothing more than average here. It is OK, it is just nothing special. Finally, the food does not seem to be up to standard either. I do not know if it is the management or what it is that makes this Chilis not quite up to others I have been to, but I really do feel this location just does not really measure up to others in the chain. Thought I'd give a little review... We had great drinks. Good service and mediocre at best food. In the past I have always enjoyed their fajitas. They seemed like they were warmed in a convection oven and they gave me a hot lime that was cooked with the fajitas. The pre-portioned serving of rice was embarrassing and the chicken tasted like something out of a microwave oven as well as the beef. The wife ordered chili which was absolutely disgusting. Fortunately for us they removed it from the bill. It's sad at what chili's has become. I give this Chili's a two star for the following reasons: 1. First time I've gotten sick eaten there so they will get a two. 2. I have never ordered to go so getting sick the first time I've ordered to go bothers me. 3. My food came Luke warm and looked like it had been sitting awhile. I know I probably should have thrown it away but when you've waited an hour for a simple order and are celebrating your wife's birthday you want to eat. I woke up at 2 am this morning writhing over in pain. I had the worst stomach pain I have ever experienced. Felt like someone had stabbed me and it would come and go every twenty minutes or so for about 5 hours. I almost went to the hospital but it started getting better right when I couldn't stand it. It was either good poisoning or a bacterial virus from improper utensils/food that sat to long or sat in nasty conditions. This was the only thing I did different that day. I normally eat my own food which I did the rest of the day so I know this was the cause. I'm glad it only lasted a few hours but I am disgusted that they would serve food like that and think it's okay. Two other people that ate from here in our party also were sick but I was the worst of the bunch. We ordered through Door Dash. I am also a Door Dash driver and I know that restaurants will sometimes cook the food 20-30 minutes before a driver arrives to ensure fast delivery. I would like a response from Chili's in regards to this. I am a disabled veteran and feel that me and my wife should not have gotten this sick for her birthday dinner with her parents. However, but when the actual service is unprofessional and management does nothing to implement better services, i feel like it's worth leaving feedback with the expectation that someone in the chain will see this and better staff this place. This is the second time I visit this location and have bad service. Soup was warm- cold, needed some tobasco and took a long time to get that. Ordered drinks, took almost 20 minutes before I can order my next drink. Asked the manager to step in, said he didn't have enough staff. Same response I got last time. To top it off, the waitress/bartender brought the drink and dropped it so hard on the bar it spilled and she said nothing to excuse herself now did she wipe down the table to cleans up HER mess. Overall, bad service. Please train Kelly(Kelly seems nice....she's a bit overwhelmed, needs help, manager needs more staff. At the end of the day we have plenty of options. No wait time for dinner time during week day. So we were lucky. But we waited more than 15 minutes but no one even came to get our orders. Two other tables around us were seated and their orders were taken right away. I was about to go up to the hostess and see if they can call our server. I want to write a review specifically for today.... I don't normally frequent this location in Glendora other than to pick up my father's food order so I typically will call it in. But I had the absolute best customer service over the phone today! KARA Was so very helpful. I was on wait for maybe like 5 minutes and the first thing she did was apologize for the wait, her computer even froze but took down the order quickly and in a a courteous and friendly manner because she didn't want me to wait. She was so kind and helpful, I usually have a complicated order because my dad has diabetes and he can only eat certain Things. She made sure to let me know of certain items I had ordered that contained sugar in them. I thought that was really nice because you could totally hear the background noise and she sounded extremely busy but she called me by my name and reiterated the order back to me completely correct and she really had that sense of customer connection, it's something I really appreciate, beung that it's hard to come by in person let alone over the phone. We were seated and the server came to take our drink order. After the drink order was taken, she disappeared for about 20 minutes. We placed our order when she finally returned. We received our food in an acceptable timeframe, however, I was served chicken fajitas when I ordered shrimp fajitas. My dad doesn't do tech the waitress was says it's not her problem and rushing us to order when the menus weren't popping up on my moms and I's phone.
