Came to pick up my order ( ordered there for pick up multiple times) was waiting behind 2 cars, was told to wait as another customer drove up on other side ( the direction I was told previously was the wrong entrance) helped them then came to my vehicle and berated me for to waiting and said I had an attitude when I explained I was in a line behind costumers she had even helped . Soooo un professionals and rude. Then sent another person to give me my order, when I asked for the precious ladies nam ( purple streaks in hair) they would not give it to me or send a manger. Came to this Chili last week food was good & bartender who served us was professional & attentive. Problem #1 with young male host he was rude & unprofessional . When we came in NO one in restaurant (3:30pm) only 5 men at bar Host stated "it will be 15-20 minutes because it's change of shift & they're all in a meeting" I then asked could we sit in bar he says "let me check" goes to bar comes back says " it will be a few minutes" then mumbles something none of us understood . He goes to back kitchen area after 5 minutes comes back then he cleans off table in bar himself & seems angry about something The guy literally when we walked in was doing absolutely nothing. Worst dining experience we have had in a while. After being seated in the dining area for almost 10 min with no drink orders or at least "I'll be right with you" we decided to head to the bar area where every single booth was dirty and had empty plates, cups and trash on it. I would say, well, that may have just happened but it remained there up until a few minutes before we left. Then, my wife ordered a salad to be brought out before the food and didn't arrive until the food did. Ok... Walked in and the front Sally Port had s bad smell. Smelled old oil or something. Got our table and things are going fine. The water came by but when we asked for another moment to read the menu we did not see him again for 10 minutes. From that pint forward we had to call him over everyone we needed him. When we are done I go to pay the bill and they charges us twice for one of the meals. Thankfully I had not paid yet. When I called over the waiter he said oh yeah I saw the double up in the back. What! Jd saw we were over charged and did nothing about it. The food was poorly executed. The taste and quality just was not there. My wife ordered the shrimp fajitas and she started having stomach problems before we even got to the car. She spent the afternoon not feeling well at all. She could not eat for the rest of the day. When I went to the restroom I was able I was able to look into the kitchen. I was shocked at how dirty the kitchen was. Disgusting messes on the floor. The counter was stacked with all kinds of crap. One counter had food debris all over it. Looks like it might be where they make the salads. Clearly no one cares about the condition of the kitchen. Even worse they leave the kitchen door open so guests can see in at the mess. Never again. Save your money. read more

I never leave reviews but this visit was the final straw. We came in with a group of 14 after a choir concert. All we wanted to order were appetizers and dessert. We were told that they were only accepting small groups and asked us to leave. On many other visits they have been out of items that they say they have when we first order. They bring our drinks and then tell us. They do seem to be under staffed. If they just asked for our patience instead of giving an attitude I would completely understand. Went To Chili's with all this Covid19 stuff going on and thought we would try the curbside pickup. Horrible! You wait in the same line as people ordering and then they tell you to be there at a certain time for pickup. By the time we got thru the line it was 20 mins passed our pickup time. We took our food to the Hemet Ryan airport to eat since we live at least 30 mins away. Needless to say you can tell our food had been sitting ready for us probably on a table waiting for us to get thru the line. Used to be one of our favorite places! Not anymore! Go in and seat ourselves in the bar area since no one is at the front to ask. Table is at least 6 feet from the other occupied table and table on other side of us clearly recently used with dishes on it. We get approached by hostess after she was confronted by waitress that knows us. She tells us she need to move us to the dirty table after she cleans it. we watch her clear part of the table and then get confronted yet again by the waitress that knows us. So now another employee proceeds to try to move us out of the bar area. I told her that I didn't want to sit on the other side. She tells me that she can't seat us over there yet there is a table with people at it. And the whole time they are installing plexiglass in the restaurant while people are trying to eat. But the hostess said the only available seat was a high top table that was inappropriate for a 3 year child. When asked what was going on the hostess explained that there isn't enough servers and that was the only spot. Looking around half of the restaurant had empty booths. Edison was replacing an electric pole by my house, so other than just sit staring at the walls with no electric, I decided to grab my daughter and go to Chili's. We started with their chips and salsa, delish as usual. I ordered The Boss Burger, it is huge and looks just like the picture. It seemed a little dry to me because I didn't add the BBQ sauce that comes with it. I only ate about 1/8 of it and took the rest home to my hubby, he added the sauce and loved it! My daughter ordered their Top Sirloin Steak. That was the shining star of the whole meal. WOW! It was soooooo tender and juicy, my daughter was cutting it with her fork! They don't really make a big deal about their steaks, just a tiny spot on the menu, but, really, this is one of the best steaks I have had in my life. I'm getting that next time I go there. We are 17 and had money to spend and tip. The Service was awful! They completely forgot about our orders we had to wait over an hour to get food. Our food came 45 minutes apart from our friends. We ask if they were Kompass anything and they said no it was a misunderstanding. No one would help us no one refill our drinks. Manager came and talk to us and she was rude and still couldn't bring us the rest of our parties food. When we finally got our food our other friends were done. Yes we were all paying separately. But every single tab was wrong. They charged us extra for chips extra for cookies none of which we ordered. It's unfortunate that because we are under 21 and we weren't treated like an adult. We were completely ignored. We wouldn't have gone there if we couldn't have afforded a meal with her friends. The food was mediocre at best and the service was awful! Regardless staff shortages. My friends and I and our families who have lived in Hemet for years will no longer be returning to this establishment. We waited for over an hour on the wait list for a party of SIX, and when our party was texted to be seated, they tried to put SIX ADULTS at a table suitable for four people. We were told we could split our party amongst two tables that were far apart from each other. We came for a Birthday dinner, and they wanted us to sit separately. It's now an hour and a half out from bring placed on the waitlist and we have yet to be seated at a table big enough for our party. We will NOT be returning! You ruined my mother's Birthday, and there was nowhere available for my disabled dad to sit. He couldn't make it back to the car, after walking all the way in from the parking lot, as there were NO handicapped parking spaces available; there is an empty tent covering the handicapped parking area. I love chili's, but man this place does not have it together. Was outside waiting for about 30-40 mins (wait time was 5-10 mins) and when I went in to ask if they're ready the lady said she was outside calling my name like crazy (lies, I was right outside the door waiting the entire time) so I tell my family to come in cause the lady said she was ready to sit us. That took about 20 more mins cause she lied. While waiting there was a man in a wheelchair complaining to the manager that his experience was the worst he's had there (that should've been my cue to go somewhere else) So we finally get seated and the guy brought us drinks and tossed me the straws and took off. My kids are allergic to dairy so I order chicken and pasta, no cheese (1st order in) takes about 40 mins to get it and of course, cheese. I send it back and wait another 30 mins. As we were getting ready to leave they finally bring our food out (2 other tables left cause their order took too long as well) I asked for a coke when my food got to the table and they didn't bring it out till I was done (I ate pretty slow cause I was feeding my kids first) Overall the worst chili's I've ever been too.
