I want to start off with the fact that you should ignore 95% of the 1 star reviews. I am a chilis expert, also known as a professional big back. I love chilis, the honey chipotle chicken crispers are near and dear to my heart. I am not proud of it, but I have eaten at this location three times this week. I have also eaten here numerous times before. The food is fantastic. I have never had a bad food experience here, the worst experience I had was when I ordered a steak, it was okay, expectable for a restaurant like Chilis or Applebee's. On the other hand, Chilis specials, like the fajitas, hot mozz, and the honey chipotle and nashville hot chicken crispers are delicious. I love coming here and getting the triple dipper, fantastic deal, and fantastic food. Now I will admit the service at this location is hit or miss. Some times I will have a slow server who may not check in with us for a while and leave drinks empty, but other times I have servers who are on top of it. For example tonight I had Julian who was on top of it and made sure we were good the entire time. We dined in at the Hiram Chili's location on a Sunday afternoon. My son had been wanting to try the Triple Dipper so he could test the spicy "Nashville hot" inspired items. There was a brief wait, but we were seated in about ten minutes. The service was a bit slow, but they were also very busy. Our waitress was friendly but took a while to get back to our table throughout the experience to provide refills and order updates. There was another person assisting with bringing out things like our beverages and appetizer and this helped slightly. We ordered one triple dipper with bone in Nashville hot wings, boneless honey chipotle wings & nashville hot cheese sticks (Nashville Hot Mozz), a kids meal with chicken strips and fries (Pepper Pals Crispy Crispers) with honey mustard & a salad (Santa Fe) as entrees and one bottomless chips & salsa app. While the chips & salsa came out quickly, it took over thirty minutes for our full order to come out. My son loved the triple dipper! The tender and fries & salad were also good. The meal was not too pricey. Unfortunately we had a bit of waiting and fending for ourselves between me having to grab napkins from a busboy to prevent a mess with the saucy wing order and waiting for over 30 minutes for the food to come out after seeing a handful of tables receive similar orders (mainly for the triple dipper) come out for other tables faster. Chilis is a restaurant where you go and you really know its hit or miss. We frequent Chilis and on this particular night they were packed. We had to wait about 20 mins, eventhough we were told it was a 45 min wait. This Chili's is always cold in temperature but it was fairly comfortable. We sat close to the bar area. The food was so good or I was hungry lol but it was good. I went with the CHICKEN BACON RANCH QUESADILLAS- Chicken, shredded cheese, chile spices, bacon, house-made ranch. Served with pico, sour cream, ranch. BACON ON THE SIDE! 3 for me deal. So I got the chicken enchilada soup and a Mango Lemonade! I ordered the drink of the month, the good witch marg! It was very busy when I got there so I won't give them any pressure for the wait time for my food lol but amazing food nonetheless!

This location is located in a plaza area with many other shops, restaurants and business'. However, it is not difficult to find and parking is accessible to many spots. The restaurant itself seemed pretty subpar. It was a typical chilis so it's what you expect when it comes to ambiance and the overall upkeep of it. I had my go-to triple dipper and I will say, I wasn't too impressed. The new Nashville Hot Mozzarella sticks sound and look a lot better than they taste. I was so excited to try them and could barely get past 3 bites of it (I really tried my hardest to like it). The regular Moz Sticks weren't as fresh as I would have liked them to be. I feel like Moz Sticks should and need to be served fresh or else the overall taste isn't the best. The reason why I'm giving them three stars instead of 2 is because of the service and the Honey Sriracha Chicken Crisper really hit the spot! It really made up for the fact that my Moz Sticks weren't my favorite batch. Looking at the current reviews, I know this place has been off for a little while now but today we went down with the Sunday afternoon crowd and chilies was packed out with people waiting inside and outside for a seat. Yet we had a young man named Ash, I highly recommend you asking for this young man. He was very accommodating smiling every time he went to get us something Our food was brought out promptly and was very hot one of the best experiences I've had at Chili's and sometime, they have definitely turned the corner and are doing things right. As I said, the service was excellent even though the place was packed and they do not have a lot of waitresses or waiters but still we had quality service Highly recommend given this place a second chance if it's been a while. read more

Updating my 3 stars review to a 4.5 stars a year later. They finally got them some much needed help, thank goodness. All the young ladies up there are polite, but my waitress (who's on her 2nd day off training) was super welcoming & attentive. Not just to me either, cus I witnessed a toddler cheerfully saying goodbye to her across the restaurant before he & his family left. The food was good & the Marg of the month was strong. I needed all of the above since I've had a hard week. There's always plenty of parking too. Now if they could add a lil smell good in the ladies room...otherwise, the restrooms are tidy & clean. Expensive & Unwelcoming Visit VIBE: Sports bar/casual dining VISITED: 11-14-25, ~12:00 PM SERVICE: Dine-in -The Experience- Parking was easy, and the overall cleanliness of both the parking lot and the restaurant was great. The main issue started at the door. Hostess: The welcome was completely lacking. I received no greeting, smile, or "hello." I had to state my party size, and the "hostess" simply grabbed menus and walked away without a word. She clearly seemed like she did not want to be there, which started the visit off on a poor note. Server: Thankfully, our server was the opposite--very nice and friendly. They handled small issues quickly (bringing salt/pepper and replacing an empty ketchup bottle). Ambiance & Seating: Clean table, comfortable seating (booths and tables available), and a standard sports bar atmosphere with TVs tuned to sports. The restrooms were also clean. -The Food & Cost- We ordered two 4-piece Chicken Crispers plates (with 2 sides each), two Sweet Teas, and a free Chips & Salsa (using a coupon). Quality: Everything was fresh and served hot, but the portions were surprisingly small. The Chicken Crispers were notably tiny, and the side portions were skimpy. Cost: This was the biggest upset and point of disappointment. For the two plates and two drinks, our bill came to $38 before tipping. -Final Thoughts- It has been a while since I've visited Chili's, and the prices have increased tremendously. To spend nearly $40 (before tip) on two plates of very small chicken tenders and sides was a quick regret. I don't know why this particular branch gets a bad rap. It's not the Cordon Bleu. It's Chili's. And it's infinitely better than the Chili's on the other side of Dallas. They have a system that seems to work. A server takes the order. A runner brings the food. At lunchtime the place was crowded. The server was busy and unruffled. "You're here by yourself?" I asked. It was she, the runner and the bartender ..... and every customer appeared to be taken care of. The "Three for Me" which includes a drink, a salad and an entree starts at $10.99. Since we're margarita people, we upped the beverage for $2.49 and had a nice and fruity drink. Not a bad lunch. But if you like your burger rare, you're out of luck. Management mandates medium or well. (I guess they don't want to be sued for E coli.) Restaurant choices are limited in Hiram GA. Mostly chains, with a few independents. While I wouldn't go out of my way for a chain restaurant -- though I AM a fan of Carrabba's -- if I'm in the area and in the mood for something basic, I'd easily return. read more

Better than the last time I went. Still could use a good cleaning though. Our waiter Jay was quite nice.

The garlic butter mushrooms were raw, the guacamole was a straight avocado... no salt and we had to mash it, and the mexican bowl was so sad... there was maybe one tablespoon worth of rice in the entire plate. Decided to try the 3 for me, that been advertised on TV. We got there early evening 4:20 ish, The hostess was no where to be seen when we got there and when she did show up she seemed distracted. We had about a 5-10 minute wait to be seated. Both my wife and I ordered a side salad (since they were out of salsa) as our starter. The salad was good it had lots of tomatoes. We both ordered the smash burger option. It was very good it had lettuce tomatoe, pickles, cheese and a sauce. The 3 for me also included a non alcoholic beverage. (a couple of alcoholic options for an additional cost were available). Glad we got there early as it did take awhile for our meal to be delivered. Overall a great deal for the price. I have never experienced a restaurant so unaccommodating. For a table of three, with an infant at 2pm on a Friday, the host and waitstaff were rude and unwilling to accommodate. We requested a six top, when 5 other six tops were open, and the host was unwilling to even ask the manager for approval. We were sat in a booth, and were forced to park the stroller in the aisle. No mother should feel like they can't go out because the restaurant is unwilling to accommodate; especially at 2pm on a Friday. After speaking with the waiter, we were able to move, but then waited 10 minutes for our new waitress. They also gave us disposable utensils and were not friendly. read more

First I must confess I love Chili's! I worked at Chili's for two years while in Undergrad while attending Auburn! However, the pride that we took in service seems to have gone down significantly. We order and sit down and dine at this location often and I must share it's been sad to see it go down. Dining in the service seems to depend on who the server is and due to being short staffed they seem to have a lot of people working who may be new or overwhelmed with the amount of tables they are serving. As for takeout it's a nightmare, it's slow, very slow and I have gotten the wrong food multiple times. I always try to be kind because it's not the teenager's fault the system is messed up, however I think the managers need to step up and hire more or make services not available until they can staff up. read more

Sorry, I won't be back. This use to be my favorite place to go. They were nice to open the doors for us coming and going, but that is the only thing I can say nice about the place. We had to send our silverware back, wooo, and going to the bathroom I thought I could be mugged. The short hallway was so dark I really thought it was a joke. When I got inside the ladies room there were three young girls sitting all over the sink area and trashcan and were being very loud. I thought I was on the wrong side of Atlanta. I took my family out for dinner last night and we were very impressed with the place. We have been coming to the Hiram location for well over 10yrs and they have never let us down. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks and the service... was fantastic. Last night was among the best evenings we've had there. Our server Jay was awesome, took care of us perfectly and especially my kids. Even Chris - the GM - was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to accommodate my request and executed it perfectly. The food and the service were good. However, to quote one other reviewer: "the margarita wasn't good at all." If you are looking for good mixed drinks, look elsewhere. After I received my margarita, I got the impression that a waiter with no experience mixing drinks was doing double-duty as a bartender that evening, because there's no way that any experienced bartender would make a margarita without measuring out the right amount of tequila, triple sec (or whatever other liquor is being used), lime juice, simple syrup, etc to make sure the marguarita is well-balanced and taste good. I got the sense that the waiter-bartender just poured the different liquids haphazardly and hoped for the best...not the right approach! You can go for the food, but don't waste your money on drinks at this location. read more

Stopped by with my family (total of 7) on our way to a funeral. The hostess was incredibly nice and sweet. Our waiter. (We think name was Johnny he had a patriots hat on) was actually the nicest waiter I have ever had. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything. We had someone with a dairy allergy and he made sure their meal was safe as well as being extremely accommodating with everything and not rushing. Definetly helped make this day a little bit easier for us. Thank you guys. I would love to give this Chili's more stars because this is my families favorite place to eat. Unfortunately, after yesterday, my opinion has changed. Granted, I expected it to be extremely busy on Mother's Day but I did decide to order online. I arrived and was they were writing down names for online orders. Long story short, I waited almost 2 hours before I decided to leave. Initially when I called and asked about my order, I was advised that there's 60 other orders and they were doing what they could. I didn't think that was professional at all. Then I called back prior to me leaving, roughly about 30 mins after my initial call and someone kept picking up and handing up. This has got to be the worst chili experience I've ever had . The restaurant was EMPTY and we still had an hour wait time . The hostess was miserable and acted like she didn't even want to be there. 2nd visit to this location, but have visited Chilis many many MANY times for the past 10yrs, hence I even worked at the Austell location for 2 yrs. ANYWAY, I came in late with my family this evening around 8:30-9p for a quick dinner. Our server was pleasant & attentive while we ordered, so everything seemed going smoothly. Soon after we got our drinks, it went down hill from there. First we got our appetizer dishes and they were dirty, we never use them anyway so we just ate off the casserole. After about 15 mins we got our orders, Honey Chipotle Crispers, Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Kids Mini Bites, & a Mac and Cheese. First thing that popped out to me were the stale, unseasoned, cold fries that were on my child's & my plate. You could tell they were old & had been sitting for a while, so I dreaded the thought of eating them, so I continued on to what I discovered were cold, stale, microwaved "chicken" tenders. They were literally like cold rocks sitting on my cold metal sheet tray (which is supposed to be hot to keep the food warm??? Confusinggggg???) I checked both of my daughters food & it was warm almost cold but my daughter insisted she was going to move forward with eating them because they were THAT hungry!!! I was over the whole thing so I just said F IT & moved on to my corn on the cobb. (MIND YOU, I haven't ate anything off my plate at this point). As I am about to cut off the kernels, the damn cobb is cold!!! I politely tell my server that my food is cold. She apologizes & offers to bring me a "fresh plate". She comes back 5 mins later with a warm tray and it's the same tray!!! Either her or the cook threw it in the microwave?!! How did I know?! Because I had cut into the cobb, when I first got the plate and I got the SAME cobb the second time (had the SAME cut), with the SAME stale and cold fries AND tenders. HORRIBLE!!! LIKE REALLY?? I wasn't going to notice?? The only good thing I guess was the dessert, I mean it was microwaved like everything else, I would be shocked if they got that wrong too!!! I'm not sure what kind of janky & ghetto food service this is but I am so disgusted! I paid for my ENTIRE BILL $57 & not once did she offer to turn the experience around. I ordered a big mouth burger and fajitas to go. I was told it may be up to 25 min wait. After 35 min I went in to check and was told they were waiting on 1 part of the order. After 55 minutes I had been given multiple excuses of why my order wasn't ready. I asked to talk to the manager who was no help! Finally 60 minutes after I ordered, the food was ready. The double burger was so well done and completely dried out. I choked on it multiple times. This order was $45 + $5 tip (when I ordered). Would never have tipped after this wait. Used to be our favorite place for consistently juicy burgers and fajitas. Don't order to go!!!! May give it another chance for dine in, to go orders have lowest priority, manager was a fail, should have offered some money back or some other compensation. read more

Went today and haven't been to one in years. Now I remember why we stopped going. The food is terrible! The only thing worth eating was the chips and salsa and the fries. Couldn't get Coke products because they told us they tasted weird today lol. Guess they didn't know how to fix it. Pasta tasted like plastic, ribs would have been ok if they used a different bbq sauce. Street corn was really weird. The staff were all nice and very helpful.
