Not sure why the reviews are so poor. Every time I come here everything is good! Whether it's just my boyfriend and I, or my boyfriend's whole family, the restaurant is super accommodating. I love the flatbread appetizer and the grass fed burgers. Wish more restaurants had grass fed burgers! Corn is a good side choice. The only suggestion I have is that servers are really loud when talking to each other, I don't think they realize though. I see that a lot. But other than that, good staff and management. read more

Dont waist your time going here- the restaurant is always filthy and the wait staff stinks. They arent friendly and you feel like a nuisance asking for a table. We just went here today and got sat at a table after waiting for the person to get off the phone To seat us. The bar was busy but the restaurant was practically empty. My food was like the name, Chilly. Our utensils were dirty and when I asked for a change, we got back the same (or perhaps a twin) fork with white crusty chunks, although the other fork seemed to be wiped off at least. Avoid this place, especially if you want a bite before the movies. Now for the food particulars: My fajita skillet came out cold, not the typical sizzle you get at ANY other Chili's you visit. The meat on the skillet wasn't terrible and was cooked all the way through...it was just...sad, room temperature, and a little under seasoned. The rice was overly salty and the beans were lacking too. The chili was cold and overly salty (which screams old to me), but the enchiladas soup we got as a replacement was a little better. I frequent this Chili's the most on the island. The food is standard American fare, but I have an issue with the staff that work here. Whenever I come here with my boyfriend the hostess always wants to put us at crappiest table possible!! I always have to say something and end up making them switch us to a booth or a table at least away from the damn door! On another visit we also encountered a waitress who was so annoying and desperate for a tip that she practically begged for it by the end of the meal. The food here is good though. Chili's is what it is. I go for the two for $25, which is a great deal. Obviously you need to know what to order when you come here. Do not order steak and be upset when it's not Michelin star rated. Get the chicken fingers and fries, cheeseburger and fajitas. Know where you are and what you're ordering. The only real suggestion I have is the 2 for $25 is totally worth it, and that cookie skillet for dessert isn't even smaller than a normal one, it's full size and delicious! read more

Definitely my go to Chilis when I'm out this way. My boyfriend and I enjoy this location. Never any problems, and we always have exceptional service. We always request a booth, and the hostess always fulfills our request. This location is clean, and never appears dirty. As of right now (11/26/16) they are repairing both the men and woman's bathroom...so that's a little messy, so that's about it. We almost always get the 2 for $20 deal. We choose an appetizer to share and we each get a full size entree of our own. It's a great deal for your money! Especially because fajitas are an entree choice. 2fers are an all day special!! Have had dinner here a few times and it's a solid experience. The staff is nice and attentive enough, and the food is good. Recently when we went, my daughter and I shared one of their sampler dishes. It was a good amount of food for the two of us and quite enjoyable. We even ended up with a few leftovers for a snack the next day. Always a bonus :) I will say, while there's nothing too unique to find in a chain-style restaurant, it's pleasant with tasty food and nothing to complain about. Honestly ... chili's food is decent and average. But I am rating it so high because of the service. I feel like good service can make average chain food great!!! My partner and I had just watched Aladdin over at island 16 and we went to chili's to eat and talk about the movie. Our bartender ( tall, thin, Latina) started engaging and debating about will smith being the genie. We had such a fun time talking about the movie and the music and arguing about whether this movie was a 10/10. The food came out really quickly. I had ordered the fajitas and my partner ordered a pasta with mushroom. It was pretty decent. When you come to chili's you know what to expect. It's a chain, not a 5 star restaurant. For what it is this location always delivers. I've been here plenty of times and never gotten a bad meal. The 2 for $25 deal and 3 for $10 are both amazing values for what you get. The portions are all the same as they would be if you ordered stand alone entrees. The chips and salsa are always a great choice, & the fried pickles are good as well. My personal favorite are the honey chipotle chicken crispers (those are the reason I come here) The staff here is always attentive, friendly, and on top of their tables which is all you can ask for from your waiter/waitress. Overall the food is always good, plenty of menu options, plenty of drinks, and plenty of deals. This is a great chili's location, and one that I will continue to come to. read more

I am closer to the South Setauket location however I find the quality of food much better at the Holtsville location, so I come here instead. I stick to basics like burgers, fries, and salads, all of which are consistent and good. Service is superior at this location as well. read more

Absurd locate that doesn't want your business. I've ordered from this location many times because theyre the closest location to me (I'm less than a mile away). Then today when I went to order from the app, it said "online ordering not available." I tried the website and a different phone to see if it was a problem on my end and it was not. They did not show up on DoorDash app either. So I called them and a very rude girl on the phone told me I couldn't order on the phone (even though the recorded message said press 2 to place an order by phone).... when I explained to her that their app is currently saying the restaurant cannot take online orders, she told me to order from a different location. Ordered chilis via door dash. Last week we ordered and it was great. But Today We ordered Texas cheese fries, & a soup and salad. There was No silverware included. Last time we received silverware. my boyfriends cheese fries were wrapped in aluminum foil for some reason & they were sticking to the foil so he really was able to eat about half of them. My salad was really good. But my soup, was literally only filled up less than half way in the cup!!! Last week when I ordered it was filled all the way to top. I love Chili's! I go here once every week for the summer! I usually get the 2 for $25 which is a great deal - appetizer, entree, and dessert! I usually get the chips and salsa to start, and the salsa is so smooth. I then get the crispy chicken crispers and they're definitely some of the best chicken fingers I've eaten. And then to finish off, my table always gets a cookie skillet! The presentation is always amazing, the cookie is warm, and the combination of ice cream and a delicious cookie cannot be beat! Use to work at this location long ago. Went to Island 16 to see worst movie of the year "Greta", save that for another review, so figure stop and grab a bite. It was Sunday night around 9. It was dead so we got served fast, waiter was on top of refills. For came out in good time. My ribs we cooked perfect, but i'm use to Sweet Baby Rays honey bbq sauce I use, so the flavor was just ok to me. The chicken was cook nice and juicy, and tasted good. Wasn't happy that my pickles and toast were both spicy. Spicy pickles & toast? I guess hot n spicy is the new thing. I have always loved their corn. Had dinner at Chili's on Saturday and I wish I had just stayed home and ordered Chinese food. Let's start.. Ordered a kamikaze and they sent over lemon juice. The explanation was they ran out of kamikaze mix. 1. Why send it at all. 2. There is no Kamikaze mix 3. They sent me over a replacement L.I. Ice Tea that was just as bad. Zero star's. Dinner came and because I did not raise my hand fast enough when my order came out the waitress said " I am just going to set this here and y'all figure it out ". Zero star's again. ( note this was not our assigned server but another that was helping out ). I had Prime Rib , rice and mashed potatoes. I liked the mash potatoes. The prime rib was as thin as cardboard and attested like cardboard. The rice was hard. Did not enjoy it at all. Seriously we all know what a prime ribs should look like and taste like. No napkins , no water , had to send out a A.P.B for our server most got the time. The manager came over to see if everything was ok and it seemed as if his washer , dryer and iron have been broken for a week. His uniform was disgusting and wrinkled ( please have some self respect ). So Chili's never really liked you before and now I know I don't like you your are done stuck a fork in it.
