This chilis is awful! Let me start off of saying that I LOVE chilis and often go for dinner with my husband. It was our date night spot, if you will. But THIS location was awful! The service was slow as can be and the food was also disappointing. I usually get the 6oz sirloin. Normally it's creamy in texture and had a delish aroma from the melted butter on top. This time, it was dry and chewy. The only thing that saved this meal was the $2 house margaritas, but those too took a lifetime to get to our table. 1 star is too much. After reading the reviews my wife and I thought maybe in Alabama they don't like chili's like we do in California. First the service was so bad it deserved a -5 stars. The food was warm, not hot and it was not that good. My wife finally said maybe this is good to people in Alabama, but they will be in for a surprise if they visit Chili's in another state. Corporate should close this location so as not give a bad opinion of other locations. read more

At one time there were 13 tables on one side of the restaurant that were not cleaned. Three young ladies walked out before they ordered after 15 minutes. Went back again and service was just as bad as my previous visit. read more

I have 2 chilis by us in Ohio always good. Not this one. Unmitigated disaster. Stopped here on a family vacation on way to Florida. Sat down at 7.15 p.m. By 8.00 p.m. had 2 of 6 dishes rest were not cooked or completed wrong. Talked to manager and they did credit food, but it seemed as if all the orders were wrong. This poor manager was being pulled in ten directions. The waitress was nice enough but disappeared as soon as the trouble started. We did get drinks and appetizers. The place needs an overhaul in the back for sure. Will never go back here, or any in the south I will stick to mine in Ohio. read more

Now I know why they have such bad reviews. Usually I'm very forgiving & don't usually give bad reviews, but I'd rather you skip this place than go & be disappointed. Just keep driving. First negative experience in GA or AL since I came down from the north this week. Staying at a nearby hotel (two thumbs up to the Holiday Inn btw) & just needed some food & a beer before calling it a night after a long drive today & looking ahead to same tomorrow. Walked in & saw a few empty seats at bar, but then saw leftover dishes at all 3 seats. Looked around to make sure no one was returning. No one in sight, figured I'd ask the bartender. Stood there for legit 5 minutes & there was NO bartender. Two different waiters bumped into me, I asked second & he said bartender walked away. Then he rushed away. No help clearing the area, offering an apology, or help of any kind. Kept standing around & decided to leave. Never have I seen staff leave dishes for so long unattended. They should've been cleared when the check/tip was picked up. No help from 3 other employees. It was NOT that busy at all. Luckily I found refuge at Hooters down the street. I like Chili's back home, but this location couldn't even get me seated. Management needs to look into a lot of problems, I can only imagine if it was a weekend evening. read more

This place literally is the WORST run chili's. I've given it a chance multiple times & unfortunately they have absolutely demolished any such hope. Two times, Count it TWO times staff has gotten into a fight with each other and have had a cook and a bartender quit. I'm not kidding. You'll spend 3 hours here and your food will taste terrible. You're better off trying to eat ramen at home or eat your dogs poop because it'll taste better & will get there quicker than you'll get your food here at chili's. Service was fair. The food is absolutely terrible. Started out with chips and salsa. The chips were so salty we just sent them back. Next batch was fair. Salsa was mostly water. I got the smokehouse combo, ribs and brisket. The ribs were so dry and hard I could even break them apart. The two little thin strip of brisket were equally dry and basically flavorless. The fries were warm but slightly stale. The corn cob was ok. My wife had the steak and shrimp fajita. She said they were just ok but too salty. Said she wouldn't order that again. Looked like they were short on staff. We went about 9:00 PM and was told to have a seat in a particular section however all the tables were dirty. We ended up seating ourselves at the 1st clean table we could find. Our server was working as hostess as well. Bottom line everything was simply ok nothing great or wonderful. read more

He took time to help us because our car ran out of gas but he was ready to take my husband to the gas station but we did get some help plus he allowed our daughter to play with the tablet without charging us to keep her busy.. also he took off for a mistake that was made.. this man was AWESOME SAUCE!! Came into town to meet a friend & ended up having to wait on them much longer than expected. Kiana, the bartender, took excellent care of me during the 4hrs I was there. Super sweet, held by purse behind the bar when I stepped outside a few times to smoke, made sure my drink was refilled. I went in last night for dinner at the bar. It took a while for the bartender to come over and take our drink orders, but after that food orders were taken right away. The problems came after that. She disappeared. Multiple people at the bar were waiting on refills or checks or trying to get their credit cards back, or whatever. The place continued to fall apart as people from the restaurant part started coming to the bar and yelling for a manager because they weren't getting service either. Any time a bus boy would get caught by a customer, they pointed the customer to the rack of business cards with the managers' phone numbers. The manager was eventually rousted from the back and he tried to explain he was short handed. That doesn't really explain why your bartender disappears from behind the bar for 20 minutes. I've worked in a restaurant and I know that servers have sections they work. If you're short handed you probably shouldn't open a section if you can't guarantee excellent service. I doubt that you'd ever get decent service on a fully staffed night. read more

Food was stone cold when it arrived to the table after a long wait. Part of our order never made it to the table. I have eaten at many Chili's in different cities and many times in my home city. Cold food is awful. It wasn't busy and the kitchen was terrible. This is an attitude and training issue. The brand suffers when this goes on in a location. I typically don't check ratings for chain restaurants b/c I've never had any bad enough experiences; however, I will from now on & this is definitely one we should have checked. Fortunately we did check the reviews after we got there, and based on someone else's review that day, we paid with cash, not cards. (Her # had been stolen) I agree with many others, I would recommend this place to NO one. There were a couple positives: The little gal who sat us was really sweet & most of the food tasted pretty good, if I didn't think about what the kitchen might look like. That's about it for the positives. The place had a really dirty feel & the bathroom was disgusting & stunk!! I saw a bug scurrying across the floor. Our waiter proved that it is possible for a person to have NO personality whatsoever. Most of us got our food at the same time, but my mother's soup (yes, I said soup), didn't come till we were ready to go. No apologies whatsoever from the waiter! I could go on & on about the attitude (or lack of) of the waiter. He spoke politely but never cracked a smile & didn't seem to want to do anything more than he absolutely had to. (Including brewing a pot of decaf.) When it came time to leave, the waiter actually brought us change for our bill & we hadn't even paid yet! (FYI: we didn't keep the change, but I wonder if someone from another table had to pay twice.) read more

I am giving this two stars because it is really hit or miss there, although I have never really had a good 'hit' there. The last time I was there (I go here sometimes because it is near where I live), the staff ruined my experience. They were training a new waitress and the waiter left her to deal with us. I know he was probably busy, but BOTH of them disappeared on us. I had to ask to have my drink refilled, get more napkins, and no one ever asked if we were ok after we were served our food. In addition, thee food that day was pretty bad. My guests dish was too spicy (spicier than usual) and mine was more spicy than I remember. I must say, after this experience, I have not gone back. The time I was there before this, the waitress was rude and put off by any conversation (my mom and I). She also disappeared on us and I had to bother the host for different things. Overall, I really think management is doing a poor job of training there staff. I think the manager there likes to hire young pretty girls and train them improperly. I came here with my boyfriend and his sister for a late night dinner..around 9 PM. I was pretty hungry, but soon lost my appetite once being seated at the table. The table was not cleaned off at all. The waitress soon realized it and quickly wiped it down. It would've been fine except the rag she used to wipe it down smelled rancid. It must've been used all day without being wrung or rinsed off. My boyfriend and his sister ordered the crispers 3 for $10 deal. That's a good deal I suppose, but they did forget their drinks. Our waitress tried, I give her that. This place has definitely gone downhill. Sure restaurants serve frozen food that's been microwaved, but most of the time it's still enjoyable enough for a basic meal. Of the last 3 times I've been here, my food is warmly soggy at best. Tonight they brought an entree to my table that was missing the side. When we asked for the side, the waitress went to the kitchen and returned reporting that they were out and more had to be cooked, which would take "a long time". We were offered the option to substitute for a different side, but then told no for several things we asked for. There was no explanation as to why this wasn't addressed at the time of our order. The substitution arrived to the table when we had finished our food that had already been delivered. Our drinks were empty most of the time. HORRIBLE! We went here for a late dinner. We were not allowed to sit in the bar area even though there were four empty tables. The host mumbled some reason as he led us to our table. We sat for more than 10 minutes before our server even acknowledged we were there. After ordering drinks and an appetizer, the appetizer arrived more than five minutes prior to the drinks! The food, from the time we ordered, arrived relatively quickly. However, it was cold. This is the absolute last visit to this location. I don't see how on Earth they manage to stay open. read more

This is the WORST Chili's we have every eaten at in our lives. We have always loved their food so since we no longer live near a Chili's, we wanted to stop for lunch. They were not busy. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We were brought silverware but no napkins. Drinks but no straws. We had to ask for napkins, straws, refills, etc. The food orders were mixed up. The chicken was not warm when served. The best food item was the chips & salsa. The guacamole was tasteless. Horrible experience to a place that we have always enjoyed going to in the past. This was by far the worst Chili's I have ever been to. We are on vacation from FL and wanted to eat somewhere close to the hotel. The workers were not in uniform... People walking in from outside were going to the kitchen in hoodies and dirty clothes. The place was filthy. Vents were black and tables and floors were sticky and had crumbs/food. We decided to get our order to go. The food was not even presentable and something was drizzled all over my husband's fajitas. He orders fajitas weekly and has never seen that unknown gravy drizzle. My steak had no flavor and my broccoli and mashed potatoes were not cooked well. I decided to save my bowl of potato soup in hope to eat later. Warmed it up and it was thick and had no flavor. I should have left Chili's without ordering based off of the presentation of the restaurant and workers alone, but Chili's is normally on point.... But not this time. I should've used my better judgement and tried a different Chili's. You all need to clean your restaurant and get a team of managers that care about your company's brand and toughen/tighten up on employees. read more

Twice I have went to this location to make a To go order, both times the staff w as s not interested in serving me. They spent more time joking and laughing with each other.
