Came here tonight for dinner with my boyfriend. The wait to be seated wasn't too long but the half booth they seated us at was pretty dirty. My boyfriend ordered a "watermelon" lemonade, I put that in quotations because there wasn't really any kind of watermelon flavor to it. It tasted like a watered down version of that pink lemonade you get at in n out. We asked the waiter for a different drink to replace this one. My boyfriend ordered some wings and the shrimp tacos. I ordered the crispy style chicken crispers. My boyfriend liked his wings and said the the shrimp tacos were actually spicy, and he isn't weak to spicy like I am. I enjoyed my crispy chicken crispers that are served with French fries (nothing special) and corn on the cob :D Something really neat at Chili's is this little touch screen device they have on all the tables called a Ziosk. You can play games on it (for a fee). You can cruise drinks, desserts & appetizers on it and you can pay your check on it! We noticed that the "watermelon" lemonade hadn't been removed from the bill, my boyfriend mentioned it to the waiter and he took it off. We decided to pay using the Ziosk. Our waitresses were Lilly and Porschia (sorry for the misspelling?). Both were very nice and quick to get our food and fill our drinks. Lilly made a point of knowing all the sauces for the ribs and seemed very responsive to our tables needs. We brought my sister and her food came out in time and was crispy! In the past, this particular Chilies was a good place to come, but last night we and another couple came here and we changed our plans to dine in because of our friend not feeling well. We ordered to take out and after going over what we wanted many times to two different servers we got home and No steak Fajitas( they gave us Carnitas instead. This was suppose to be a birthday meal for my wife and it was not good! They also gave us carnitas a small Marguerita instead of a large one(no strawberry in it and looked like something made without a professional bartenders help. Chili's was busy this afternoon, we waited 15 min before getting a seat. I don't mind the wait, but there was empty tables and tables that had not been cleared off from the last guest plates and drinks (seemed that someone called out or restaurant is short staffed). I ordered the spinach queso dip for me and my wife to share. Dip was good, however the paper thin chips did not work well for scooping dip (need to upgrade to a thicker chip). Also I ordered the old timer cheese burger, this is a great burger, fresh patty I had cooked medium and would definitely order again. Went to Chili's for dinner tonight. We knew it would be busy since it is Saturday night. Did a call ahead. They took us about 5 minutes after we got there. We were a party of 7 and a baby. My Husband and I came for lunch. There was no line, and we were escorted to our seats right away. Today I was very disappointed that I called this location to place an order for pickup. A woman answered and asked how she can help. I told her I wanted to place an order for pickup. She put me on hold.....20 minutes passed, I drove down there which only took 3 minutes. Right when I pull into the parking lot, someone picks up the phone and hangs up at 24 minutes! I walk into the location to see if they were busy and found that they weren't. The employees were on their cell phones and talking. I walked up from the "to go" section to the host (who was on his cell phone) and asked to speak to a manager. He radio'd for the manager and didn't get a response, then asked if I need something...I said "yes, I need to speak to the manager." He radio'd again and the manager finally responded. I told the manager what happened and my observation with everyone I see and being on their cell phones, including the host! I showed him a screen shot of my phone timer showing 20 minutes on hold. He seemed apologetic and asked if he can make things right...I responded "not today, too pissed off." This poor service is unacceptable and this location does not deserve anyone's hard earned cash until they hire leadership that can develop a decent team. On a side note, I tried ordering through the chili's app but the app no longer allows you to modify your side, just the main entry. On top of all this, I was going to redeem a free appetizer today that I got through my Chili's rewards, now gone. Sad to see where this location is headed! I specifically told her "no" when she asked if I wanted cheese. When my burger came back it came with fries and garlic pickles thrown on the side, no mustard and a mushy black bean patty that wouldn't stay together. On 10/10 I placed an order via the app for pick up. I got there a little early so I checked in and paid. This was around 6:45p and food was to be ready by 7. I was told it was almost out and got it about 5 minutes later. Thankfully I checked the food before I left because 3 out of the 4 entrees were cold, not warm at all. I suspect that food had been sitting there waiting for the order to be completed. I advised the hostess and she apologized and got the manager for me. The manager James said I had 2 options 1) be refunded (and walk out with nothing) or 2) wait for new food to be made. He told me they were slammed and it would be another 40 minutes if I waited for new food. I asked if he could refund the order and I would take the food because we are all hungry and don't wish to wait. He said he couldn't refund and give me the food. I completely understand them being slammed busy and I feel I was patient but to make me wait another 40 minutes for food was ridiculous. He didn't really seem apologetic and kept " Sorry it is what it is right now". I asked if I could be given anything for this huge inconvenience and he said he was comping me. I said no you aren't comping me, you are refunding me because I'm walking out with nothing. He gave me a receipt showing a $0 charge and said sorry, and walked away. I was very disappointed about how the whole situation was handled and I feel the manager honestly didn't care. We used to go there often, but now I think I will just go to the Corona location from now on. The hostess was sweet and was very apologetic. So thank you to her for caring. read more
