You wouldn't think this of an IHOP but they have great burgers and sandwiches. The place looks like every other IHOP. No big surprise there. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was perfectly fine, but he seemed a little downtrodden. But he kept a smile and took good care of us. We first discovered this location after being in the shopping center and saw they had some really good specials. One was their burger. Holy smokes! Not what I was expecting. Fresh, hot, perfectly made. It was seriously good. This last time we went we ordered the Classic Burger and the Classic Grilled Chicken sandwich. We each had 1/2 of both. We both really liked it. We will be regulars when we are in the area. read more

Food was good but SERVICE WAS 5 STARS!!! My goodness. When we were seated I thought they forgot to bring us a high chair. But when I looked up I saw the employee Damien literally bent over a high chair cleaning it from top to bottom before bringing it to us! We have been to many many restaurants and we are aways the ones to clean the high chair (and they are always filthy!); this was the 1st time that we received such incredible service. WELL DONE, DAMIEN!! Our server, Alyssa, was also a star! I just was so impressed with the level of care & concern at this IHOP! And, of course, food was good too! :) Thank you! read more

Located on Newport & Murrieta Roads near the Jack in the Box. I took my mom and uncle here because we wanted IHOP coffee and, well, might as well have breakfast. It was during Saturday morning's peak hours. There were a lot of people waiting to be seated, but we were only quoted a 10 minute wait (I thought I'd be at least 1 hr wait based on what I saw). We waited exactly that, 10 minutes. We had their 'Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs', 'House Scramble', 'Fresh Berries Crepes', and of course, coffee. Our food was fresh and tasted great, with that authentic IHOP taste. Hashbrown portions are smaller than other locations, though. The restaurant was clean and organized, and the service was efficient. Our server, Anthony, was attentive and helpful with menu options. Overall, we had a great breakfast experience here. read more

I love going to this IHOP, they have amazing food. I think they have a kids eat free night. Kids LOVE the happy face pancakes. I came in here one Christmas morning, all the stores were closed, and I couldn't find any butter, so my dad could cook a family Christmas Breakfast, that was turning to a Hangry Brunch fast. Horrendous call order system!! You can call, speak to someone, and they'll still tell you they never got it. Denny's at least makes it right and doesn't have you waiting for 10 minutes before someone even speaks to you. read more

On a Sunday, we are still in shock over how efficient this location operated during our visit. We watched as the manager on duty, Cali flawlessly assisted wherever needed as well as stopped by varios tables to check in. The food was perfect, our waitress Jennifer C was beyond friendly. In today's world, it seemed out of the norm to watch a restaurant run as well as this during a peak Sunday morning. We used to LOVE IHOP. They've been changing badly. We went there on Mother's Day - after the rush! It was the WORST meal I've ever had there. I ordered their 2 - 2 - 2 (pancakes, eggs, bacon) THE WORST EVER! Pancakes were SO THIN, burnt and could not be cut with a fork - chewy! Eggs ordered sunny side up - small ones came came with tiny yolks, one broken. Bacon was ordered crispy. Maybe they were, at one time, but obviously were cooked earlier in the morning and were rubbery and chewy. But the WORST was those awful pancakes. The server asked how we enjoyed our meal. I said "this has nothing to do with you, but it was awful." I told him about the super thinness of the pancakes and being burnt. He agreed and said "they're all like that". WHAT?? I said this is supposed to be a PANCAKE HOUSE specializing in pancakes. He said "corporate tells us to cook them that way, but sometimes owners don't". PANCAKES are supposed to be FLUFFY!!!! Your pictures even say so!!! LIARS. Well - I think IHOP should change their name!! You are no longer a PANCAKE HOUSE - it's more like a really bad diner now. me and my friends just ate here at this location and EVA is LITERALLY the best person/waitress EVERRRRR!!!! she was kind, warming, welcoming, did not make us feel rushed, engaged in GREAT conversation and i even learned a new dip to make from sour cream from her!.. it was bomb A.F.!! she DESERVES the HIGHEST recognition for going above and beyond guest services!! because of HER we will DEFINITELY be coming back here!! everyone could learn from her!!! Not sure why the positive reviews are the only ones that show. We went to the Menifee CA I HOP and at 6pm my husband ordered a steak dinner and it was not until we ordered that we were told they had NO vegetables but he could order a salad. When the salad came it was lettuce piles of chopped tomatoes and many slices of red onion. I asked if they had croutons and was told no. The mashed potatoes were a child size portion. I ordered a chicken quesidilla which was the least amount of cheese I have seen sprinkled on the tip of a stale tortilla, burnt poblano and red bell peppers. I tried to use pan coins on a child's meal and I told him I had opened it and that the code was there and he said no he insisted on doing it again and then there were 2 kids meals and he said oops sorry they don't refund it even though he made a mistake. I told him I had lost over 150 pan coins because when ever we try to use it the "system" is down. He offered no way to fix it and told me I could only use one. This was not the first multiple errors or bad food we have had at this location. We will not go back. read more

I had very good service my waitress was so nice. She brought us our check and said when ever we were ready to go ahead and pay at front or in the wall they had a scan QR code so I paid with the QR code. Im not sure if they get a notification that it was paid for or what not. As we were leaving they waitresses say good bye have a good day. I was half way threw the parking lot and one comes running asking if we paid I said yes i paid with the code and she said ohh Im just making sure. I told her I can show her and as I was showing her another waitresses calls her and tells her they are okay they paid. She said replied with well I just check im already here. That was so embarrassing. Because I would have never left without paying. I think they need a better system if they are going to be using the QR code because people will be accused of not paying when they already did. read more

So we went in yesterday evening (Christmas evening) I'll be honest I didn't check the hours. I was only checking if things were open. Once we got in and talked to a hostess, she seemed confused about where to see us, even though more than half of the restaurant was empty. She was looking around in what seemed like a flustered motion - they were literally seats all within ear shot. Then we overheard the conversation she had with a coworker, not sure what the coworkers's name was didn't look at their name tag. But she had no problem voicing her opinion about people coming in. I would love to review the food quality, but after being talked about as if we aren't there, we decided to leave. I get it was Christmas for them , but it was also Christmas for us. I left with no hesitation once the hostess began pressuring us if we would 'finish in time' all the while wouldn't seat us at a table to order. Realized they closed at 10 but it was before 9:30 and honestly, we were going to share a plate and be gone in 10 minutes. Happy that your employees give zero about people coming in. If she would have just said 'hey we close in 30 minutes' I would have had no problem just saying thank you and leaving but nah, she purposely played with us. read more

I had a drop off near this restaurant so decided why not stop for dinner! This is the first time I've been to the IHOP here in Menifee. The staff were very friendly and seated me right away. I asked my waitress if she would recommend the salmon dinner. She said yes, it's a popular dish. So salmon it was! The first thing I loved was they took the skin off. The salmon was well seasoned and delicious. The rice was perfectly cooked as were the green beans. I'm not a lover of green beans, but adding sea salt table side worked! Not liking these pancakes! The new norm for IHOP on the pancakes. However, the district manager - Lily said this is how they always are. This is how you know they are fluffy . Won't be back- I'll stick to Corky's ! Our server was great. The Manager then asked if I always peel off the top layer of my pancakes. I had to show her that it didn't matter if I pulled it off or cut into it. The top layer was still coming off. I was trying to help her out and let her know that her consistency was off on the batter as I never have had them like this before and I've been here multiple times. She continue to be defensive, but be polite as possible in her response and reassured that Lili has been working for the company for years and this is how they always been. I let her know that I've been there multiple times and if I had a pancake like that, I wouldn't have returned. read more

This is the second time I came here and was greeted and seated promptly. This is the second time I had "Nancy" as my waitress and she's amazing. Nancy always looks professional, takes our orders quick, has our drinks always filled up and serves our food fast!!! She's always very friendly and nice! The restrooms are always clean and handicap accessible for everyone. They have baby changing table too. The food is always good portions snd delicious. My friend has the senior breakfast and I tried the Cowboy B-Que hamburger. It was all delicious! They were nice enough to sing "Happy Birthday" to my friend! I have to say this is my favorite I-Hop and enjoy all the food whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner! It's a hidden gem in Menifee. If I could I would give them 10 stars ! read more

The menu makes you believe it's a Fancy Mexican Restaurant, all the while the tv's by the bar play sports games and loud annoying music over the sound system makes you believe it's a Sports Bar/Night club. Now the food...the food is awful. The end. (Well, what we ordered anyway) But more specifically, imagine the worst Mexican fast food served on a fancy plate... Soft Drink 1 $5: Sprite: Good Soft Drink 2 $5: Coke: Bad (too syrupy and flat) Bean, Cheese and Rice Burrito $16: Beans tasted old and burnt, rice tasted old and stale (possibly microwaved). The only decent thing was the tortilla. Carne Asada Quesadilla $18: The Meat tasted dry and old, hardly any cheese and tortilla was dry. Rolled Taquitos $15: The only kind of edible dish that was served, still not very good, We were expecting something much different from the original title and description. Taquitos are small, chicken tasted old and the sauce was just canned enchilada sauce. This dish should be called "Mini Taquitos Enchiladas"(to be nice) or "Taquitos Abominación" (to be honest) Seems like they just plated them very nicely as to cover up the mediocre taste. One positive is that the service was amazing, our server (Angelina) was very attentive and friendly. The food came out quick, which in this case, wasn't a good thing. We did mention to our server that the food "wasn't very good" she said we "should've said something earlier" (not sure what that meant) but we still decided to pay the full amount. I wish they could've accommodated a refund or percentage off the check or something. The total amount for everything including Taxes & Tip was $74.77. Very over priced especially for what we've experienced and ultimately not worth it. We will not be returning to this place. It's a shame we hardly finished our plates (we were hungry mind you) except for the taquitos which were somewhat the only edible thing on the table besides the chips, both of which still being not good, including the salsas that were provided. I'm hoping they do some quality control on every item on the menu, They truly need it. You should be ashamed, Tacos & Tequila. P.S. And to top it all off, we both are experiencing stomach issues after consuming their food, I'd say stay away from this place. And for the love of God don't trust the rave reviews!!
