The husband and I wanted to stay local so we decided to go to Chilis. The service here is usually ok, nothing to rave about but decent. Well Saturday night service was awful. It started when we were seated. The waitress was in a super rush taking our drink order and when the blackberry iced teas came out, they tasted awful. She did what she could to make the drinks right so I figured no big deal. We ordered an appetizer and shortly afterwards we ordered our meals. The appetizer came out just fine and my husband, daughter and I enjoyed it. Well then the real issues came about. We sat for at least 45 minutes and our actual meals still hadn't come out. My husband flagged down the waitress to find out what the hold up was. She went to check and came out with my daughters food (kids corn dog meal) which was piping hot that she couldn't even eat it. At this point I'm just pissed. They obviously put a rush on the kids meal or else why was it so hot? I think they forgot to put our order in. Well I flagged down the waitress and asked her to call the manager over to our table. When the manager came over he apologized for the delay and said the food would be out shortly. I mean he did try to make it right, I'm not going to lie. But at that point it was well close to an hour and our food still hadn't come out. He said he was going to take care of the bill for us and asked if we wanted our food to go. I was so done I didn't want any food to go. I just wanted to get out of there and honestly I wasn't even hungry anymore . I've worked in a restaurant before so I am usually extremely understanding when it comes to kitchen screw ups or wait staff issues but the thing is I had to flag down our waitress to find out where our food was. She should have come over and explained and apologized for the delay before I asked to speak to a manager. Oh and we also noticed that two parties that were sat after us, were done and leaving because they had already eaten. And here we were still waiting for our food. Needless to say, we won't be coming back here anytime soon. I would rather make the drive to the Murrieta location where we have always had good service. It's sad though cause we like to spend our money locally. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Julia, the manager needs a class in management and customer service. My partner and I waited over an hour for our meal and when it arrived it was incorrect. I had to have mine packed up and then I had to throw it away because it sat in the car for too long while I attended an appointment. Never ever will I go back to this Chili's. read more

Ive always had a good experience here, the waitresses are always very nice. But a couple weeks ago i went here and had a horrible experience. My boyfriend ordered a steak from the 2 for $20, and i ordered chicken strips. He told the waitress he would like his steak cooked medium rare. When the food came out, the waitress asked my boyfriend to cut into the steak to make sure it was cooked the way he wanted. Well when he cut it, it was pure raw meat. So gross! Looked like it jumped from the freezer to his plate. Blood from the meat was coming out on his mashed potatoes and broccoli. We told the manager who was not very attentive, but the waitress got him a new plate. When it came time to pay, I asked if there would be some kind of discount or something, because my and my boyfriends appetite was completely ruined after seeing this bloody piece of raw meat. The waitress went to ask the manager and came back to tell us that the best she could do was $4 off. He couldnt even offer the meal free, they still had to suck up some kind of money for that nasty plate right! I will not be returning here and recommend you all check your meat before biting into it! read more

Myself, my friend and her two little ones decided to have dinner here one day and it was just ok at best. The young host they have up front, seemed like he would much rather be anywhere else but there. He was not very friendly or inviting, almost a bit unprofessional with his demeanor. Our server was great. The food was okay and prompt. The only thing I would change is they have these tablet thingys at the tables where you can order drinks and/or play games. To occupy the two year old, we decided to play a couple of games. Our server then tells us that there will be a charge on our bill for the game. They should warn you prior to that. I could have occupied her with my smart phone. I know it's only a buck or two but it's the principal. Won't make that mistake again. read more

Visited this location for dinner on Saturday March 14. Service was ok, food was ok, pretty much what you would expect for most Chilis locations. The number one thing that could have been improved upon..is knowing the ingredients for dishes and being willing to find out whether a menu item contains an item that could cause an allergic reaction. It actually took 3 requests to get an appropriate and knowledgeable answer. The question? Does this item contain WALNUTS? Not all food allergies are just to peanuts and in most cases, simply looking at the ingredient list on the package will answer that question. I don't remember who eventually discovered the answer, but it WASN'T our server. This is the difference between good service and GREAT service, going out of your way to answer a simple question. read more

I went there with a friend and we sat there waiting for the server for 10 min before she even came over to greet us then once she did we ordered drinks and two appetizers and she seemed so bothered it took forever for us to get our drinks then even longer for our appetizers we were done with our drinks and wanted another and her and a group of servers were just laughing and talking not even paying attention to there surroundings. Tonight I met Anthony the Manager for the first time and he was going from table to table asking if everything was alright and if there is anything that Chilies could do better. This is great customer service and this guy actually cares. He told me he tries to interact with his customers so if there are issues he can fix them. I'm surprised because everything is always perfect and I like all the new items on the menu. So my recommendation is DON'T CHANGE A THING. read more

We again tried chilies out for lunch on Thursday and service was bad they wanted us to use their machine to pay our bill but it wasn't working but nobody came over. The machine had to reboot and that took forever they should have just took our money and let us leave. This is the last time we will be going there we are done with chilies I don't even think it deserves a star. read more

Worst experience ever! I arrived and asked for a party of six. Once everyone arrived, it took the waitress (Mandy) 10 minutes to come to the table. She took both our drink and entree order and didn't come back for another 15 min. She came back with our appetizers but no drinks. We asked for our drinks and she said shed be back with them. She came back with food that wasn't meant for our table and still no drinks. After another 40 minutes of waiting for our food, we finally asked to cancel our order because we still didn't have the food or drinks we ordered. The manager finally rushed out with the food (which was still missing some of our order and we never got) and brought us our drinks. He told us he was taking over the situation but never returned to the table. This rush of service still didn't distract us from seeing our waiter talking badly about our table wth other coworkers. It couldn't be anymore obvious when you keep staring at the table. Never coming back again. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

I came in with my sister in law 3 girls and 1 teenager on a Friday night, yes I understand that it's Friday and busy but when they tell you the wait is 20-30 minutes and you end up waiting 45 minutes because the guy that was supposed to check you did not even bother to do his job that is very unacceptable, until they sat everyone else down and they saw me bothered by the wait he asked what was my name..... he looked me up and I was not even on the list for the wait.... gladly the server was a nice guy and really treated us right and made sure the girls where served promptly. I'm still sitting here and I hope to update the stars by the end of the service being provided by my serve whom has been really good. If I were the manage I would definitely approach those waiting so long and apologized for the wait.... I know customer service and the only good customer service I have received here has been by the serve. read more

The service may be friendly but it will take an average of 20 minutes for a drink, about 30 minutes just to order the food and an hour to receive your food. You will see the server about three times in your entire 2 and a half hour to 3 hour visit. If you have children you can authorize a .99 cent charge on the computer thing they have on the tables to unlock games, but beware, if there isn't one on your table they still charge you. No big deal it's a dollar but they should be more attentive. The food is ok I've been in 3 times and one the food was over salted, second the food was cold, third the food was bland. The prices are $$ so since the service is bad, the wait is horrible, you expect at least the food to be delicious. The only plus side to it would be that it's a good place to hang out, if you have the time and patience, go for it. Not for me since I have two children one is nine so the games keep her entertained but one is 8 months old, patience is not her forte, and it does tend to get crowded and loud. Definitely would not recommend for very young children. Last thing this place needs is yelling and crying from children. read more

Went to Chilis on Saturday Aug 12, 2012 for lunch. We were seated right away, our drinks come pretty quickly and there lies our problem. Everything came to quickly. We ordered the Southwest Egg rolls and 3 to 5 minutes after they arrived at our table out came our entrees. We hadn't had time to enjoy the egg rolls and in hindsight I should have asked to have the egg rolls removed from the check as we each had only had time to have 1 or 2 bites. We were about halfway thru our entrees when our server came by and dropped off the check saying "don't feel rushed". Which of course we felt rushed because we were rushed. I spoke to the manager and she said that it was Chilis policy to drop food and the check quickly during lunch so people could get back to work. IT WAS SATURDAY!!!! I emailed guest relations and received the same answer. There was nothing wrong with the food but I will never go back to Chilis as I feel my money is better spent elsewhere in establishments who appreciate my patronage and want me to stay and spend more money. read more

I had such amazing service tonight I just had to yelp it, I'm new at this, I've been to this restaurant thousands of times, some bad some good experiences, but if your server is Scottie she is awesome! I've had her a few times and there is a Major difference when your sat at her tables. she is so on top of things, so kind, happy, caring and attentive. We were greeted before we even sat down and brought us drinks right away. I've been to so many restaurants where my drink is empty and they just stroll by not noticing or they are never around when you need something and I just leave unhappy. not her she's on top everything and is what you want as a server! Thank you Scottie for being so good at what you do. I've never had a problem with their food and I love the deals they promote. I think the service defiantly makes the restaurant.. Some places I just hate going to because I know I will have horrible service. I will be looking for this server every time I eat at chilies. read more
