My wife was straight up throwing up on the way home after she ate a 3 or $15 dollar meal. She is not recovering in her bed. We sleep in separate rooms for reasons disclosed. Wentto lunch with my family and ordered the 3 for me meal asked how I wanted my steak cooked told them black and blue with no seasoning. The steak came out med to well sent it back waitress told us the management would not cook it rare and I told them i ordered my meal this way several times manager came out said they couldn't cook it really rare ad per corporate told him again I get it this way all the time told me rules just changed this week. This Makes me think that they are not properly storing their meet correctly because I have always gotten it this way before. Went to chili in Murrieta no problem getting it black and blue steak. So I no it's n9t corporate but this Elsinore location should be following how the customer wants it cooked or don't ask me how I want it cooked. But someone should look into the storage of the meat and how a manager addresses the problem of cooking a steak it's wronge and if I can get it cooked the way I want at the Murrieta location then your not telling the truth about it being a corporate policy also emailed corporate and was told no such rule existed and they are looking into this. read more

The Lake Elsinore Chilis has become one of my favorite places for dinner. When it comes to eating out, the cost can add up quickly. Chili's provides value for the money. Every employee we have interacted with has been positive and friendly. Chips and salsa are always fresh and abundant and there is something on the menu for everyone. My favorite is the margarita chicken. As someone who tracks macros, it's a great low-calorie meal with a decent amount of protein and most importantly, it tastes good. I have one problem and its a server that i notice everytime im in the restaurant, shes loud and constantly messing with other workers. you cant miss her pink hair but that isnt the problem. I bet she is a lovely lady but i personally do not like the unprofessional acts as im waiting for my server or my food. Constantly messing with the cooks and yelling across the restaurant. I am very disappointed, I usually come to the Lake Elsinore location to dine in with the family. We came for dinner today. I was told the wait was 15 minutes. We are a party of 5 a table became available and they sat down a party of 6 mind you they were waiting for another party of 6 that was nowhere to be found. Another table became available the missing party decides to show up past 5 minutes wait time. So, 28 minutes later, we are asked if we would like to be seated on a booth after they sat down another party before us. I'm sure they saw my frustration, which is why they bother to ask if a booth would be OK. The seating process is not well coordinated. The chips were overly salty that I kept trying to take as much salt as I could. After that I ordered the queso fries. It took them forever to get my order. My friend and I came out for a girls night and after we got sat we waited for over 10 minutes before being recognized. We finally got some service and the wait for the food didn't take too long. But the server didn't ask us if we wanted refills so I sat there with nothing to wash down my food. The server passed us 4 times without saying anything and after they sang happy birthday to the guest next to us she asked us if we needed anything but then we were interrupted by another guest and she left us to help them. ALL I WANTED WAS SOUR CREAM FOR MY CHILI. but anyways. She left and passed us again 4 times and at that point I just wanted to leave. Ordered take out about 30 mins away from the restaurant, on the way home from San Diego. Before COVID 19, I ate here with my mother, pretween, and any visitor who liked to drink those President margaritas. Now it's to go margarita so you don't get to shake shake shake the ice cups. App sometimes doesn't credit your reward so double check it before pushing the payment button. When I arrived they gave me my reward dessert no issue. They will NOT take your order from your car window like a drive through-- you MUST order on line. This is the first restaurant that refused to take my window order-- you also can not walk in and give them your order and then wait outside -- you MUST order on your electronic device. We went on Saturday and it took 10 mins for the hostess to seat us (no one was waiting but us). Finally sat and had to wait another 20 mins to get someone to stop by the table. After which we were ready since we had so much time. After about 30 mins I asked about our food. It came out cold. I got the shrimp pasta. The shrimp was cold and the pasta cold and under cooked. The other item was explosion chicken salad. The quesadilla was so over cooked and was sitting for a long time the cheese was hard and gross. The server took the items off the bill but we choose not to reorder and pay for our drinks and leave. Wow. Just wow. In the both times I was here, I ordered the same thing because of just how good it was. Upon being seated in less than a minute upon by their service, we were greeted by the wonderful lighting, the tv's, all the happy people, and the chairs were quite comfy, and the nice people who served us our drinks and food with a nice attitude, quite unexpected with a place with such low ratings. We were brought chips 'n salsa, which were on point, the salsa was amazing and the chips were perfectly salted. The drinks did take a bit long but that wasn't a problem. As an appetizer, we ordered mozzarella sticks not expecting much. Boy were we wrong. They had a juicy flavor and melted in your mouth, they were fresh and delicious and got pounded in mere seconds, with the help of the amazing marinara sauce that had such an excellent texture and taste. We ordered and our food came in less than 10 minutes. We were brought mouth watering ribs, seasoned fries and juicy chicken with tender corn cooked at its finest. The ribs were amazing with the sauce, the fries tasted amazing, the chicken, so good and scrumptious, the corn and toast were amazing, it's quite the delicious filler, and only for 24 bucks.. but you just cant possibly go wrong with it. I rarely eat out and almost never go to Chili's, but went tonight for the free veterans meal. I got the basic hamburger. I was seated quickly and the friendly server took my order as soon as she finished with the table she was at. Food came in a reasonable time and both burger and fries were hot. This was about the best burger (and messiest) I've ever had. Everything about it was fresh and tasty. With the large amount of fries and oversized burger, I was completely full and satisfied. Chili's used to be good. My family and I would go to chili's at least 3-4 times a month. It's sad to say that after COVID hit Chili's started going down hill with their food. I've order to go a few times and there is always something wrong with my order. I bought the honey chipotle chicken crispers and when I got home with my order there was no sauce on the chicken Crispers. Ordered mango habanero chicken crispers again a different day and got the wrong sauce on the chicken crispers. I've order the mini burger bites on a different day and the meat was not cooked at all, this has happened twice. Very disappointed since this was our to go restaurant.
