I was at a funeral for my boyfriend's grandfather down the road. 6 hours long. They provided some snacks, but we decided to go here afterward to eat. I was stuck between a big salad & the chicken club tacos, the salad sounded good & it was a Chili's favorite. Our waiter, Reggie, was hilarious and very helpful when it came to questions about the menu. Unfortunately, the lettuce in the salad was noticeably wilted & I wasn't crazy about the sauce. Chili's is one of my favorite restaurants! I love their black bean mushroom burger. This location is okay; not the best Chili's and not the worst. I've only been unhappy with my food once. We did wait one time at the front for a long time. No one even greeted us. Several people walked by but no one said anything. There was also a group in front of us that had been waiting even longer. It was very odd. It wasn't busy either; this was a Sunday afternoon. The manager even walked by, I have no idea what took so long! The other visits have been fine but they could use a greeter with more attentiveness and courtesy. We'll we back because I love Chili's food! read more

Pros: Delicious food- we ordered loaded hot wings, a kid's pizza, chicken enchiladas, a slider tray, and the sirloin steak. Good service- all servers were polite and helpful- the waitress even got the kids meal out faster than the rest which was great. Cons: The menus were dirty, to the point the pages were stuck together. The floors were pretty crumbly, too. We were a little leery of eating here due to poor reviews and especially when handed dirty menus, but the overall experience was good! read more

Happy hour draft Sam Adams for $2 or $3 is all this place is worth. The "appetizer" we tried was a more-liquid than paste slop with little flavor and no appeal. You're supposed to dip the bland industrial corn chips in it. Yech, tho. Not the first time eating here. Usually the service is great and attentive, but tonight something was missing. Our server was very slow as far as refilling our drinks. She was nice though. I could understand if it was busy, but it wasnt. I ordered my usual Cajun chicken pasta. It was good. The other food which was the bacon cheeseburger came out well done when we ordered medium. You can't go wrong with Chili's. Reasonable prices for a wide range of food that satisfies anyone. I've been here twice this week for work and both times the food was good and the service was attentive. Our servers were on top of making sure we had plenty of drinks (up to the point where one of us would have three glass of nearly empty cola). I thought it was odd that our server one time gave us the bill before we got our food, but if that's what it takes for a large group lunch to run smoothly without too many bill mishaps then that's fine with me. read more

Wife, daughter, and I ate lunch here on Saturday. When we come to Chili's we know what to expect with the food. Other than the organization of the menus and a couple of different menu items I think most people would have a difficult time distinguishing Chili's from Friday's, Tuesday's, Applebee's, etc. The one thing that may distinguish Chili's is a $1 or $2 added to the prices of their meals. Why? I am not sure. Their food is not any better or different from other similar restaurants. Service for us was decent, the food was decent, and the atmosphere is decent. Any of the aforementioned restaurants are a good stop when you are looking for consistently average American fare. We will be back when we desire this type of food. read more

I see some of the reviews here and can't figure it out... I have always gotten good service here, in fact, great service. I've even dropped in late on weeknights just to have a quick beer after a long day, and have never had an issue. The food is excellent too -- I have to refrain from getting the Chili queso or else I'd wind up being 300lbs! All of the bartenders there rock... They have my vote! read more

A tale of two restaurants. My teenage daughter loves Chili's and requested it as it was her turn to choose. I waited tables for years and am extremely tolerant, even more so during COVID. So we went to this establishment and asked how long the wait would be. The hostess said 25-30 minutes. That was more than acceptable. At 35 minutes I asked where we were on the list. She said we were third. There were three tables on the patio that had been seated the entire time we waited. The others were not seated due to distancing. The first table of diners left and the table remained unbussed for 20 minutes so I again asked what the status would be. She then said she could not give an estimate and when I pointed out the unbussed table and questioned her initial 25-30 min estimate, she proceeded to become extremely rude and unprofessional toward me in front of other diners. This was tonight at 6 pm in case Chili's is interested in who was hostessing. We went to another chain restaurant down the highway. Again we had to wait a while but this time we were given regular updates. They also comped our app and salad after they forgot them due to being short staffed, even though I continually reassured them that they were doing an amazing job and I tipped 25% on what would have been the total. Bottom line: COVID sucks for restaurants but communication and compassion with customers goes a long way. The other restaurant was extremely professional and Chili's should be ashamed of this hostess. read more

So, we stopped in here last night at 9:30. (Friday night) they close at 11pm Fridays, and after walking in to a vacant host stand, the hostess seemed rude about having to seat us. As a former restaurant staffer, I know no one likes late tables, but it wasn't 10:59... Ordered A Plat. Margarita with some pretzels and sliders. Not an extremely difficult order but the food arrived in a very short time, and was yummy, (4 Stars for food) but the compliments end there. The margarita did not arrive until we were done with our meal. So, the water was nice. Due to the fact 1 drink from the Bar takes 30-40 minutes, I think it will be a long time before we consider returning. read more

If you are looking for a good happy hour spot stay away if the blonde bartender with the glasses is working. She provided us with the worse service ever. She got our order completely wrong and seems to get frustrated quick. She was very short after she messed up our order as if it was our fault. My friends and I "were" regulars but decided we can't deal with her. Not to mention she will have you waiting on a drink and food forever, so if you're really hungry and thirsty .....go somewhere else. read more

Came at a very non-busy time. Was seated at a table that wobbled badly. Switched to the one next to it -- torn cushion and sticky table. Waiter took almost 5 minutes to arrive. Nice guy, but obviously not too bright. Ordered a water and a Fat Tire. 5 minutes later it arrived -- he realized there was something in the water, so took it away and left me with the beer. The beer was flat. He came back with the water and I told him about the beer. He took the beer and apologized, but then didn't leave the water! Another 5 minutes later he comes back with another beer, but without the water. I ask him for the water, which he finally brings. Food was not super hot (just got a bowl of chili). Took a few bites of chili, made a little mess on the corner of my mouth and then realized I had no napkin. Aaaaah!!!!!!!! He came to see how things were (after I had gotten a napkin from another server), I said ok, but then he didn't take my dirty dish. Never did get my table wiped down. Will not come back here again. As far as Chili's go, this on is really good. They have a vast range of choices on the menu but few of them are vegetarian. Their appetizers are really good. Came here around 7:30 with my family for dinner. We requested to sit outside which we normally do. We were patiently waiting to be greeted for about 10 mins. Dinner time is usually busy that's no problem. Approaching 15 mins I decided to go inside & ask if we were gonna be greeted anytime soon. The host responds with "oh my god no one has gone out there yet" & I told her no. Even though she was outside talking to a table & eating with them & bringing them drinks. The thing that frustrated us the most was even after she expressed some type of concern no one had still come to greet us. There was two servers taking care of the tables on each side of us. & neither of them acknowledged us. We eventually got up & drove to a different restaurant & had dinner there. I made this review bc I truly felt embarrassed not being acknowledged when there was 5 of us total. I've served for a couple years & if I see a table that looks like they're ready for some service the least I could do is start them off with some drinks even if they're not my section. read more

I give this particular location one star out of five. Me and some friends go there after seeing a movie one Saturday afternoon. We are seated right away because they were not crowded at the time as they had only been open for an hour. Our order is taken but it takes 20 minutes to get our drinks and over 45 minutes to get our food. We ask the waitress what's the hold up, and she tells us the the cook didn't expect the place to be so busy. WTH?? If you are fortunate enough to be open for business, you welcome a crowd of customers willing to spend their money in your establishment right? Another one bites the dust! Went here the other night for one last girls night dinner together before my friend left for her move to Florida. It was a nice day out so we all decided to sit outside. We sat at our table and waited 15 minutes for our sever to greet us. We started with waters and I ordered a drink. Another 10 minutes go by before receiving those drinks, finally the rest of our friends arrived. They ordered two captain Morgan drinks and I'm not kidding when I say it took 30 minutes for them to arrive. My friends cheese fries came out before her bar drink did. I'm a server so I can understand sometimes things get busy but it was a Monday night and the place was DEAD. After we got our food, which was mediocre at best, we got our checks. I handed the server 40$ cash with a bill of 23 and some change. She brought my cash back and did not give me my lose change. You never assume a customer doesn't want any of their change back EVER. While my friends were getting out their payments the server, phylis stood over them and watched. She also counted the cash they handed to her in front of us. I watched her yawn while she was waiting for the cash as well which made us all very uncomfortable. The manassas chili's is complete trash, I've tried to give this location many chances as both my parents worked there when they were young but it had just gone downhill. Like I said, I'm a server so I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but this lady made it impossible. She was also training which means she had extra help so there was just no reason for everything to be taking so long. When bar drinks are taking long, you ask the bartender if they need help and grab a manager. You don't tell your tables the bartender is weeded and that's why it took 30 minutes. The service was perfect- prompt and timely, and very helpful in figuring out the billing process with those tablets at every table. The food itself wasn't very good. I ordered the Texas cheese fries and they came out only slightly warm and very dry, sometimes burnt to the skillet they brought it out in. I found myself drowning it in ketchup for some type of moisture. The drinks were better than the food, I got the lemonade and it was pretty sweet and refreshing. In my opinion Chili's used to be better in the past but I'm sure many still have it as their favorite restaurant. Not my cup of tea anymore. Husband and I went for dinner last night. It was extremely busy but we immediately noticed the team work of the staff and it was extremely impressive. Braden was our waiter and he was the shit. Seriously he was absolutely awesome. He didn't stop moving the entire time we were there. He was jumping from table to table helping other waiters our but still giving everyone amazing amounts of time and attention to make sure we were all doing okay. The food was okay. Our fried pickles had barely any batter on them so they tasted like microwaved pickles and our cheese fries weren't good either. The cheese was so hard by the time we got them (which was quickly cause the service was very fast so idk what was going on in the kitchen) but they were barely cheese fries. My husband just ate the entire block of hard cheese in one sitting (he loves cheese so he didn't mind lol). My turkey club sandwich was really good but weirdly cooked. The bread was hot, the meat, cheese, lettuce, and avocado was cold but then the bacon was hot so the temperature difference was so weird. I will say when I got home and finished the leftover half of the sand which after it got to room temperature IT WAS SO GOOD. They just need to either make everything hot or everything cold in it but goodness it was damn good after the fact. Hubby got a buffalo chicken sandwich and he liked it. Back to Braden though. He was seriously awesome. Our bill was $33 and we left him a $24 tip because his hard work was clearly noticed and he didn't show one hint of being overwhelmed even though you knew deep down he was. It's usually 50/50 here. The wait staff for the most part are awesome! A few might benefit from additional service training though. I waited tables once upon a time to pay my bills as well, and I know how hard they all work! It's not easy! I have NEVER once had a manager come by and check on me nor seen one present on the floor. A few times I have gotten the wrong order not once, but twice! Food has also come out of the kitchen looking pretty sloppy. Some of my associates I've been with have commented on it while I just remained silent. No manager ever checked on me or my guests. Now, since I worked in food service, I have never been rude to staff, it's against my grain to do that. It'd be nice if the staff (who are usually great, but look worked to the bone and in the weeds 90% of the time) had some extra training, or a manager who seemed as though they cared about them! I can tell it's a systemic issue, because you can see other tables complaining about the same issues some days. Chili's has wonderful food... the menu is filled with lots of flavor and can have potential for a great dinner. Unfortanely, we've had 5 bad experiences back-to-back the last 5 times we've been to Chili's... food underprepared and raw pultry, food over-cooked and scortched with no flavor, spoiled vegetables and burnt fries makes for a horrible night in the ER with a stomach ache! )= Slow service and bad cooks make for a disaster of a night, so now we AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Too bad theyve taken all the wonderful stuff off the menu and wont prepare food the way they used to (guiltless pitas, triple play, etc.). We'd love to have our old Chilis Food and Service back! one night our order was wrong 3 times, so the manager comp'ed our meal then went to make it for us to go to make sure it was right...
