Here's the thing- you know what you are getting from Chili's, what is uncertain in these times is what staff guy are going to get. 5 Star Shout Out to Shoney in the bar area, busting her buns to bring us great service! As a restaurant owner, I celebrate hard workers willing to show up and represent their company well. Chili's should be proud of this one!

Service and food not impressive. I feel I overpaid. The place needs to be dusted badly. I was charged 1.99 by just pushing a button on their table screen. Screw you guys. We won't return.

Driving through Mineral Wells there aren't many choices for good quality food that don't involve batter and a deep fryer.

We came here after a full day of biking, hiking, and kayaking at Lake Mineral Wells State Park,…read morewhere we were camping (keeping with our tradition of getting Tex-Mex for dinner after such excursions). Taqueria La Estrella has a high ranking, so we came in with high hopes. It's got that typical small town Texas restaurant vibe, and the chips and salsa were great, and you even get your own little personal salsa bowl, which was a nice touch. The margaritas (giant glasses) were also solid. Unfortunately, after that, everything was downhill. The queso was gloop with ground beef mush served on top. The lime chicken cilantro wasn't bad, but it was just very uninspired. We appreciated that there were cooked zucchini and squash on the side, but the chicken itself was really dry and we did not see any cilantro to speak of! The El Tejano was a combo plate that did not showcase much: the hard taco was basically just more slop in a shell and the enchilada was just covered in the queso goop and nothing else. Beans and rice were whatevs. Our daughter's cheese quesadilla kid's plate was as you would expect given the above. Our server was a nice kid, but it was clear that he was new because he didn't really seem like he knew the menu. But he was attentive enough. Anyway, we weren't expecting fireworks in Mineral Well, so this place pretty much lived up to expectations. Three stars.

My wife absolutely loved the Migas, and my son enjoyed the Chilaquiles -- the real kind, made with freshly fried tortillas. They were served with delicious ranch potatoes that complemented the dish perfectly. My other son had the tortilla soup, which looked great and came with rice on the side -- he really enjoyed it. The service was decent, and the ambiance captured an authentic Mexican feel, right down to the chairs and decor. Overall, a great experience with genuine flavors and a warm, homestyle touch. We'll definitely be coming back the next time we're in the area!

Served piping hot with packets of caramel but you don't need to put anything on these perfected crunchy cinnamon and sugar treats. Tons of crispy crust on the outside with a soft delicious dough on the inside. Everything was served really and really fast which I love. HUGE drinks (Coke products). Enchiladas verde was so spicy it had my nose running but good flavor. Salsa is very mulched and blended not like a pico and very delicious. Check out the Baker Hotel while you're there. Cool town and will probably be booming soon.

My husband and I moved to Mineral Wells almost a year ago and have been wanting to check this…read morerestaurant out for some time. I'd heard so many good things about it... and read many positive reviews. We drive past it on a regular basis and kept saying we needed to go soon. Finally on Valentines Day, I took my dear spousal unit out to dinner and that was where we went. Parking is great. We both have a few minor mobility issues but were able to park right out front. We walked into a tiny, intimate eatery with a definite Tex-Mex vibe. I didn't count the tables but I don't think there were more than a dozen, only two occupied. We were seated and given menus along with time to peruse them. The woman who waited on our table was busy but still gave us excellent service. I ordered fajitas; my husband chose barbacoa. While we waited, we munched on standard chips and salsa. The plates came out hot and steaming, and smelling good. My fajitas were served on a traditional small iron skillet and looked delicious. The taste was pretty good however, the meat -- even the chicken -- was unexpectedly tough. I took most of it home in a box and ended up tossing it in the trash. My husband said the barbacoa was horribly greasy. Again, the taste was okay but the meat swimming in grease was just too much. He said the beans and rice were fine. In addition, we were seated near the bathrooms... and wow, did it ever smell like it! Not what you want to smell when you're eating dinner. Unfortunately, I don't expect we'll be returning to Mi Fiesta. I really wanted to like them but it just didn't happen.

The server was there within seconds with chips and salsa. Order drinks and they were excellent. Table side guacamole, was on point. Favorite full and just the perfect heat. I ordered the chile relleno, stuffed with shrimp and a cheese sauce. Served on a bed of diced squash diced and lightly grilled. The squash had a nice smoky flavor and not over cooked with a nice texture. All topped with a special sauce. A hint of sweetness. It all complimented each other, nothing overpowered the other. Each favor pallet was present. The side of rice was good, but no wow factor. The server "Juan" was EXCELLENT! Very attentive!! He knew his job and preformed it well. Served the food, gave us a couple minutes to view it and taste it and returned to see all was good. He was always on top of the situation. I'm going 4 stars, "I'm a fan" for the whole experience…read more So I've know for many years that there is a place to eat INSIDE David's Stove Shop ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/davids-stove-shop-weatherford ). Sounds like it was called "The Shed" ( https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-shed-weatherford-4 ), but now it's called Manny's Cafe. Unless you enter from the west end of the building, you must walk through David's to get to Manny's. It's an odd experience, and you really wonder if there is a place to eat back here... But keep walking, and follow the signs, and you do find a sit down restaurant complete with table service. Breakfast and lunch is served. We came for lunch. For lunch I had a burger. Thuy had the catfish. Burger was OK. Nothing fancy. Just your basic burger with LOPT (lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato). Thuy's catfish is more noteworthy. I don't think it was a frozen product, and do believe it was cornmeal battered to order, as where the onion rings, which came highly recommended. Very tasty. It was a neat dining experience, and glad we tried it. Also, special shout out to the woman working the dinning room. I forgot her name, but she was super sweet and friendly, and answered our numerous questions with a smile. Oh, and the tip on the onions rinds was appreciated. We are glad we ordered them! Afterwards, we did wander through David's, and that was a neat experience too. Cell service is kinda sketchy, but there is free WiFi (see photo).
