Apparently, since she ate them all. 3: Andouille sausage. Really good. Not too spicy. 4: Lobster: Terrible. All four of them were rubbery, stringy and way overcooked. We went once before they sold to the new owners and it was great. This time it was us and another couple in the entire restaurant on a Thursday night. Which should have been a red flag. Our server had on daisy dukes, and the bartender was vaping the entire time we were in there. We split a crab boil. Once it came out and I asked for two more legs. Assuming they would be as good as last time. Oh no they were so gross and rotten. We could not even eat the two we ordered. They were fishy and completely disgusting. The redfish was dry and plated like at a Lubys. Before they had live music not this time. There was nothing but a foul mouth man at the bar and two u attentive workers in the place. Once we asked for our check the daisy duke server walked up and said that's $252.00 no receipt. The server in fact actually didn't add the two extra legs that we didn't eat and just asked box them up. As we assumed they would have been better. We drove in 1 1/2 hours to eat here after reading Google reviews. We should have gone with Yelp reviews first. Idk if they were having an off day, we all do, but our experience was definitely a miss. To start our appetizers were not consistently cooked. Calamari was over cooked and the "cocktail sauce" was like a cocktail jelly. The pickles were under cooked and soggy. The boil. Crab was good. One of the the crab legs had some sort of black eggs laid on them. It wasn't seasoning. The butter was congealed and not melted. The corn was decent. The potatoes flavorless. The shrimp was hard to peel to say the least and had the main vein no one wants. The dirty rice was DRY DRY DRY. They charged $2 for jalapeño cream sauce topper that was hard to find. Now, the coconut shrimp was so over cooked it had the texture of a chicken tender. $116 for the table and two of our party were so unhappy with their food they pushed it away. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the crab however and that was all that got the stars on this one. The service. Good. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. The ambience. Cute little shack. What a great place for a boil! The étouffée was exceptionally good. They fed eight of us and the food was brought out hot to everyone at the same time. A small kitchen error on one plate was quickly fixed with no I'll effects. Hey, stuff happens right? I'm more interested in how you fix the problem and these folks were all over it. I had the Jambalaya pasta tonight and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Great food and service and looks to have great specials too.

Food was flavorful and delicious. Service was phenomenal even with a busy restaurant. I recommend the garlic butter and spicy mix which had a garlicky twang. We got crawfish and boiled shrimp. It was great especially since it is early in January. I wouldn't recommend the crab Rangoon's because the ration to cream cheese was way too high, dipping sauce was good though. This is probably the worst place I've ever eaten. It was over 50.00 for old ", overcooked seafood. The crab legs were so soft you couldn't break them, they just "squashed". I did let the waitress know and she said the kitchen would investigate it. SMH. I didn't eat them as you couldn't get the meat out and they most certainly didn't adjust the bill. Service was ok but had to wait 15 minutes in a non crowded early afternoon non run to get the check after finally waving the waitress down. Facebook reviews are more inline of what I experienced. Well, first time. Probably be back but who knows. Food(Fettuccine Alfredo shrimp) really good, wife's fish way too salty. So was the fried pickles. Pickles hardly had any crust which makes me believe they were frozen this way and flashed fried. They came out super quick. Waitress came back once to give us refill pretty much after we're done. Not busy at all. Music way to loud for the lunch crowd but guess that's how the roll. Did I mention waitress only came back once? Never asked how our meal was at all. We were promptly greeted and our drink order was taken and filled quickly. We ordered the crawfish dip and it came with seasoned crackers. The crackers kept falling apart when you tried to scoop the dip, but it was absolutely delicious. That is where the positive ends. I ordered blackened Mahi tacos. After a few minutes the server came and said the cook top broke so they couldn't do any grilled food, only fried. I switched my order to the fried gator tacos. The menu also said tacos come with rice and beans. I asked the server if I could get okra instead of the rice and beans. She said no problem. My daughter ordered the Cajun pasta which comes with garlic bread. My fiancee ordered the fried shrimp poboy. Their food came out and a few minutes later mine did. No garlic bread with the pasta. She said they were out of garlic bread after we asked about it. The fried gator had zero flavor. They were the blandest tacos I have ever eaten, even with extra of their sauce. The poboy was also extremely bland. The pasta was good but had zero spice to it, which you expect with Cajun food. When we were ready to pay, the machine said $182 which was apparently the entire restaurant's tickets, not just ours. She fixed that and then I noticed I was charged for the okra. I pointed it out to her and she said none of their entrees come with sides anymore. I showed her on the menu and she went to the back to ask the manager to take it off. She came back and said he said he was too busy to come out and talk to us and he said he couldn't take off the charge. Overall a bland dinner, poor customer service, and inaccurate menus. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm honest! the service was great granted we were the only ones there! extremely overly priced $30-$80 a meal the oil they cooked in was old so it made the food looked burnt. the hush puppies were small as a marble but the catfish was good. The coleslaw didn't seem more than just veggies with out sauce was neither tart or sweet ! the manager was on the phone in customer area talking about the walk in freezer was broke and 60° which isn't safe handling at all!!! matter fact should close at that point! Was not eves dropping the man was standing near my table was not slander comment was a fact I never lie and I never complained because I don't like making a bad day for staff nor did we eat every thing finished the good catfish ate some fries but didn't finish the fries or slaw. We saw our waitress three times, had to flag down someone to bring us the stuff to crack open the crab, never got refills on drinks and never came to check on us at all to see if the food was decent...and to top it off they tack on a 15% for a group of 5 or more (we have 5 in our family). Our waitress who spent all her time at the bar with the guys did not deserve a $13+ tip for her inattentive service. Tried this restaurant last night for carry out. Ordered the grilled mahi and a seafood deluxe but I selected "sub shrimp for clams". Picked it up, got home and I was missing an item and there were zero shrimp in the seafood deluxe; I received all clams for the shrimp and the clams. I called the restaurant and 1st spoke to a woman who then went to find a manager, the whole time just carrying the phone around. The manager got on the phone and then went into the kitchen (with me still hanging out listening to everything) and spoke with the cook who said yes he did sub clams for shrimp and than the manager told him he did it right. I then tried to correct it and said again "it's suppose to be shrimp for clams". I was told the order was correct but if I wanted to drive 30 min round trip again they would give me some shrimp. I said I wasn't driving 30 min and I wanted a discount on the meal. At that point the call was disconnected. We went ahead and ate and unfortunately the food was awful. The Mahi had zero flavor and the shrimp it came with were tiny and there were only 4. The seafood deluxe and crab legs that were rubbery and the only thing decent was the sausage. We were charged 7.00 carry out fee, convenience fee of 1.50 plus tip. 109.00 for 2 meals that were awful. read more

Small and quaint, the menu offers many choices that look so good, it was hard to make a decision! Hubster ordered the gator platter with a boudain on the side and I chose the gumbo brochettes. His gator tenders were, in fact, tender! Salty, too! His boudain was delicious. The gator sausage had a slight heat, and good sage flavor. Bit heavy on the salt, though. Red beans n rice also has a bit of a spicy, salty kick! My shrimp gumbo was great. The bacon wrapped shrimp were very good and the gumbo was spicy. What it lacked in temperature, it definitely made up for in spice! My lips were tingling, but in a good way! Enough to be felt, but not so much as to cause problems later on! Despite the fact we came for an early (ish) dinner (5:30?) We had not eaten breakfast yet. We were starving! But the portions were satisfying and I really regretted the lack of fridge in my hotel room as I had leftovers! I'm glad we stopped in! read more

I find myself reluctant to review this restaurant because I enjoy the fact that it's never too crowded. Since my wife and I are from NY, about an hour from Manhattan we are used to having really good seafood available. Finding that here in the Ft Worth area proves to be difficult. With that said, here is my review. This is no fancy establishment. It's a small bar/pub atmosphere. Very casual. The staff there is very nice & accommodating. One of our waitresses recently was a smartass which my wife & I really enjoyed. All done in fun tho. We have tried and shared several of the seafood boils they offer, they have all been delicious. We usually get the bang bang sauce, it's pretty mild with a slight kick. Enough to make it spicy but not so hot it hurts. They offer a variety of sauces of tastes and heat. I tried the joojoo, which was the next step up. Different flavor and already way too hot for me or my wife. They offer shrimp, crawfish, crab, clams, potatoes, corn & sausage in their boils. All of which so far have been delicious. I also tried their fried fish platter which was also surprisingly good as well. They do offer at least a few non seafood menu items as well. I only have 2 complaints about this place. The clams they offer in the boils are pretty small. Which imho isn't a huge problem, no pun intended. My other complaint has nothing to with them, it's that I can't eat there more often read more
