We arrived mid day Sunday. The restaurant was pretty busy, but not overly crowded. It did take a couple of minutes to seat us. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. The food was delicious. My husband & I got the 2 for $25 deal. We started with the half order if TX cheese fries which was plenty for the both of us. I had the Margarita grilled chicken.....Sooo good!! The chicken was perfectly grilled. A little heavy on the black beans, so next time I'll request less beans. My husband had the classic sirloin with broccoli & loaded mashed potatoes. I tried his steak & it was so good. Perfectly cooked to a medium well. We finished off dessert with a piece of cheesecake. It was so smooth & creamy. So so good. Would definitely recommend the Morristown Chilis.

They are short staffed, so they can on seat above half the people that come to eat and average wait time is 30-45 minutes.

They are short staffed, so they can on seat above half the people that come to eat and average wait time is 30-45 minutes. IF you have to time to waste that's fine, but I don't see how they're going to be able to sustain business at this rate. Very sad to see a newer restaurant fall apart.

Their food is good but the wait wasn't, we had my grand baby with us and because of the baby we were left out to wait for almost an hour.

The tots weren't bad either, but the fries are the way to go. Their custards are tasty. Liked their jalapeño and famous fry dipping sauces, less so on the smoky sauce. Friendly staff and clean seating area. Self-serve drink station. Dinner style decor and seating, but you order at the counter and pick up your own food. $10-12 per person for meals, which isn't bad at all considering most fast food meals cost that these days.

We informed them at the time of the order that my husband has a severe allergy to lettuce and immediately the manager jumped up from behind the counter and took action! She ran to the back and ensured our order was going to be prepared separately and safely for my husband. The intense look in her eyes told us she took this very serious (as she should) and we are so INCREDIBLY appreciative of it. Food was hot and fresh and we so sincerely appreciate that we weren't picking off the ingredients we told them couldn't touch our food. Thanks for watching out for the safety of your guests. It's so important.

The inside of the restaurant feels similar to the decor of an Island's restaurant, only the surf and Island theme has been replaced by NASCAR and beef. Our waitress, Sam did a great job of answering our questions and pointing us in the right direction. On the menu. We got the fried onion appetizer (that I'm familiar with from Outback Steakhouse) and it hit the spot. I got the Smokehouse Burger medium rare and it actually came out medium rare! My daughter got got the large sirloin steak ordered charred rare (Pittsburgh/black and blue) and they nailed it! They did put some kind of a sauce on top of the steak, however, that made it really salty. Really salty. My daughter wound up scraping all the sauce off the steak, but she enjoyed it after that. I was not expecting quality of that sirloin steak to be as good as it was at this sort of chain establishment. My wife had a steak salad with blue cheese dressing and I've never enjoyed a steak salad as much as I did that one! You're really impressed with the food all around. Our table had a little screen with games and trivia on it and as soon as my wife pushed a button on the screen, my daughter's jumped to warn her that it would charge her money so she put it down. Sure enough, when our check arrived, there was $1.99 charge on our bill. I explained it to the manager, Maddie, and she promptly took it off of our bill. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back to Texas. Roadhouse

I basically never leave reviews for places, but this was a special experience. Sadly, not the good…read morekind of special. Went here for the first time with my wife and one of my in-laws who was visiting from out of town. Got seated relatively quickly, was pretty loud, but we could still talk without yelling. I ordered a medium rare bone-in ribeye, my wife got chicken-fried steak, and my in-law got filet mignon. One of my sides, (chili cup) showed up 10 minutes or so before any of our entrees or other sides. Little weird, but okay. Then the entrees actually show. Filet mignon was overcooked; they forgot the gravy on the chicken fried steak (and way oversalted it according to my wife), and my steak was still alive. The fat cap was gummy and not really rendered; the meat towards the exterior was a little on the rare side, but I was initially willing to put up with it until about a quarter of the way in, when I started discovering straight-up raw/uncooked meat. My guess is, the steak was just seared from flash-frozen and nobody actually bothered to temp it or check for doneness. At this point, I asked for the manager (which I've literally never done before in my life) and requested a refund rather than a recook, as my wife and in-law were nearly done eating and I didn't feel like holding them up/also don't want to pay for only 3/4ths of a product that was cooked the way I asked or even cooked at all. Manager actually wrinkled his nose at the steak, and agreed to take it off the bill, really appreciated that. Additionally, the waiter was a really nice guy. Sadly, I do think you probably shouldn't screw up steaks at a steakhouse, and all three of them had something wrong with them. I also didn't feel too great after eating just a bite or two and two or three fries (I said I would stop eating in exchange for the refund), so with all that in mind, I will have to give this place a one-star rating.
