As you can see in the picture it was like 2 spoonfuls of Mac n cheese, what a joke. We got the cookie, which is why they got an extra star because the cookie was very good. Was $57.14 for my order.

I recently visited The Little Dutch Restaurant with my family, excited to try out a local establishment with a long history in the town. Unfortunately, our experience left us thoroughly dissatisfied and unlikely to return. First, despite having few customers in the restaurant during our visit, we were seated at a table in front of the kitchen exit door. This meant that we constantly dodged servers and their trays, making for an uncomfortable dining experience from the outset. Our server was pleasant enough, but the drinks we ordered were nearly all ice and very little actual drink. We constantly flagged her down to ask for refills; she didn't check on us otherwise. The appetizers we ordered - fried mushrooms and potato skins - were decent but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, our main dishes were where things fell apart. The steak sandwich was a joke, a cheap steak thrown on a bun with fat and all. It was so tough and chewy that one of our party gave up on the sandwich and just ate the meat. The chopped steak plates were passable, but the baked potatoes on the side were clearly leftovers from the night before - dried up, burnt on the outside, and in one instance, had a cancerous-looking ball of potato innards scooped out of it. The Ruben sandwich had very little sauerkraut, and the corned beef was so dry it tasted like beef jerky. Finally, the chicken parmesan was bland, and the spaghetti noodles were tough and cardboard-like, also leftovers from the night before heated in the microwave. All in all, we left more food on our plates than we ate, and this was an unacceptable outcome for a bill of over $100 for five dishes. We had come to The Little Dutch Restaurant with high hopes, given the rave reviews we had seen online, but our experience was anything but positive. I strongly recommend dining elsewhere and not wasting your time or money on this establishment. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I just read what the last person said and I'm actually a little bothered by the comments. I've been coming to this restaurant for years and never have i ever heard a comparison so offensive as "Shake and Bake"! O'charley's doesn't exactly match up to this place either. As a weekly regular and long time patron (15 years) of this restaurant I have to say that this restaurant is a true local staple and supporter of good food. The service is always so welcoming and great. The food is even better. It's far from "greasy" but I imagine that anything you fry would have grease in it. :) Yes the owner is Greek and this place is as "family owned and operated" as it gets! It's awesome... from the great salad bar to the variety of items on the menu. The Beef-ke-bob is marinated to perfection and the Salmon has to be the best salmon i've had anywhere. I highly recommend the Italian dishes as well. The Baklava and Cheesecakes are perfection. I came here with my family when i was a little girl and i'm still coming here 15 years later. I highly recommend you try this historical landmark and see for yourself. read more

When I visited last month I got the Moussaka. It was cold and overcooked. I also got the salad bar and it was a mess. The lettuce was old and the chicken and rice soup had no flavor. Our waitress was in such a rush, I didn't get a chance to tell her. I feel like the quality of the food is going down. When the older hostess asked me how everything was, we told her and she didn't even offer to tell the owner or anything. Bad experience, maybe they will get back on track in the future. read more

My wife and I stopped in on a business trip. First off, the rolls that the server brought to the table had been eaten off of. Second, the eggplant parm I ordered was so greasy and overcooked I couldn't eat it. Third, we saw a roach crawling on the ceiling. Bottom line, bad dining experience! We won't be back. read more

I managed to eat the Luke warm barely edible Dressing along with the decent tasting Baked Potato. I kept wishing that I had ordered something else that hopefully would have tasted better but it was now to late for that. The waitress was respectful but robotic like, not too polite at all. The Restaurant had lots of supposed antiques both nailed to the wall and placed in shelving areas, a supposed Cracker Barrel sort of copy. It is my guess that none of the items has been dusted since being nailed to the walls or placed in the shelves. I have to rate this meal experience as the third worst meal that I have ever eaten at a Restaurant! There was asolutely nothing I experienced while at the Restaurant, that was positive! One thing that was strangely surprising was that there were lots of automobiles parked out front and the Restaurant was about 3/4 full! I guess I should have asked the Waitress before ordering my meal: "What do you recommend that I get to eat"? But, since I didn't ask that question and since my meal was terrible I will not be eating at Lisa's Çountry Kitchen again and I sincerely cannot recommend eating there to anyone else!
