We have had several bad experiences at this Chili's in the past, but our visit today was excellent. We are trying to eat healthier so my husband and I ordered off the lower calorie menu. The Ancho Salmon was absolutely delicious!!! The salmon was cooked perfectly. Even the steamed broccoli was especially tasty! My husband ordered the Margarita Chicken and he loved it as well. I have ordered the Ancho Salmon many times and it is consistently delicious. The service today was great as well. We had some issues paying with the Ziosk and our waiter kept coming by to help us. It's Chilis OK, which means it's a large chain with a standardized menu. That said, I had the ribs which were delicious, very meaty and nicely sauced; along with a few draft beers at the bar. Service was excellent, the barkeep was very polite and attentive, and the food quite hit the spot. It's a pub-type atmosphere, with numerous TV's showing sporting events. Ordered the Southern Smokehouse burger for myself, he had some strange concoction of appetizers and iced tea. Service took a bit longer than expected as we were the only table but still acceptable. Food was delicious despite my burger having pickles on it. I REALLY don't like pickles but you know the saying, "When in Chili's... Do as the Chilean's do." And I did. And I don't regret it. Has its ups and downs at this particular Chili's establishment. Upon entrance we were told It would be a small wait for our table. We came at 3pm on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all. I would say 40% capacity, maybe! Plenty of tables and didn't seem like many staff. Anyway, we were left at the front for around 20 mins. The lady at the front was very attentive and nice. Kudos to her. We collected a drink while we waited from the bar. 2 for 1 at that time, which was a bonus. We finally got seated for our group of 12. We sat on three separate tables (maybe this was due to Covid). It took a good 30 mins to get our order, not the most attentive waitress. I can only speak for the ribs as that's all I had. The rest of the group didn't share their thoughts on the food. I thought the ribs were very oily and fatty. Not a lot of taste to them. I didn't want too many as It wasn't much meat, mostly fat. Disappointing as chili's usually have top notch ribs. The manager came over and asked if there was something going on. There was, a soccer tournament. He didn't seem particularly happy that his restaurant was busy. Made a couple of comments about how hard he has had to work and that he will take a day off the next time there's a tournament. Is that not the point of the restaurant? I would want to be busy! The overall experience was fine. Seemed good enough but wouldn't rush back. We sat in the lounge which is self seating. And we started with drinks. I had asked for a virgin drink and they said they couldn't do it. Which is weird because it was a drink that wasn't at all complicated and all they had to do was subtract the alcohol. I ended up having to settle for water which was a huge no no for me. If I wanted a soda I could've bought a soda from the store for cheaper. Then we ordered the trio appetizer which was good. But my dinner, I ordered the chicken with rice and beans. It had absolutely no flavor. All I know is that if I do return I'm getting pasta, which is my usual safe food. read more

We have tried this location at least six or seven times. Each time is around 1 in the afternoon and we sit at the bar which is usually empty. Each time the service has sucked. I ordered Doordash tonight at 7pm . Received wrong order an hour later. No problem however , the delivery driver told me he accidentally gave the last person my order and he'd have to go pick it up at their house . Your restaurant, the first delivery driver from Doordash , to a strangers house , back into 1st deliver guys hands then back to your store . Then in the hands of second Doordash delivery driver . I have a big issue with this . The order should always be remade . Always . I called your store and was advised it was up to management whether or not someone's food is remade . Depending on the timeframe . How does this make any sense when it's been in so many peoples hands ? Further more the order arrived back to your restaurant at least a half hour later . Didn't you think it would be FREEZING cold by the time it got back to me ? Which was after 830pm . Guys , get it together. This was a horrible horrible let down from your company . I understand that this is a new location but they have got to get it together. My boyfriend and I walked in and there was a couple in front of being seated. The hostess/ server (?) never returned and we stood there for about 10 minutes chatting with the people behind us until someone came and said we could seat ourselves in the bar. Being a server myself I had no problem with be directed to that area, but the initial greet should be a bit more professional. Even if it is chilis. We took a seat at high top. We sat there for a five minutes and a server passed by and said she would be right with us. After some more time, another server (the bartender) came to take our order. She seemed a little overwhelmed which is normal but when a salad comes out before appetizers that we had been waiting for for 40 minutes or so is not. I'm going to cut this short. Each time we hoped they'd have worked out the issues (slow service, poorly-cooked food, under-staffed). As someone who spent years in food service - I understand it takes time. Do not come to this Chili's if you are in a hurry or have any food allergies. I have a pepper allergy - black pepper, anything that makes your mouth warm. I get very ill and makes me vomit violently. I made the server aware of the allergy. I ordered a chicken sandwich - should be safe. Upon arrival I learned the chicken is marinated in pepper. 2nd attempt- a burger that was supposed to have no pepper on it. It came out with actual pepper corns on it!!!!! The parking lot may look full but don't let that fool you. There's plenty of room inside. We got right in with no wait. The hostess was friendly though not warm and welcoming. Our server was average and seemed a bit distracted. She was however very knowledgeable of the menu. When I ordered a tall draft, she asked if I would rather have two for one. After further clarification it turns out they must be short Pilsner glasses. So I took the two smells for one. That would be fine except that she brought out both at the same time. That means one draft sits and waits on the other which in the draft world is not a good thing. I had the fish tacos. They were excellent even if the server who brought them out was distracted, hurried and seemed uncaring. Overall, the food was delicious. Just an update and a comment. The comment is that the problem is not that the wait was long (although it was long enough that we were on Yelp looking to see if there was a nearby restaurant we could leave and go to), but that when we mentioned the long wait there was no recognition that it was unusual, and a rude sort of "gotta wait your turn" you would expect from a government office, not a restaurant. Once the order was finally taken, the service improved a bit. We had the baby back ribs, but didn't eat the "meaty" portion because it was completely dried out (reheated too many times?). Had the cajun shrimp pasta, which was nothing more than penne mac and cheese with some grilled shrimp smothered in cajun spice powder thrown on top. We haven't eaten at Chili's in at least two years, and I remember the food being far better. Maybe it's just this location, or maybe it's just not to our taste. Won't be back again. read more

I took some time to reflect on this visit to make sure it wasn't posted in anger. I stopped in here with a friend of mine and her seven year old twins on our way from Miami back to Tampa. We were seated fairly promptly, but it quickly went downhill from there. We waited for about ten minutes when we were approached and asked if we'd been helped yet. When we said no, the waitress begrudgingly said she'd help. I asked what beer they had on tap, because I'm.a craft beer fan, and she couldn't remember anything but Bud Light, and didn't even try to find out. She brought out the kids drinks and disappeared for 15 minutes or so. Well, the glasses had caked on food in them. When she came back, with incorrect food, she didn't seem at all concerned. She took back the wrong food...and it was 45 minutes before the right order came out and was poorly prepared. Steak was burnt and chicken undercooked. We were driving back to Miami, and we were all hungry. We wanted to grab a bite before getting on I-75. I'll be honest the reviews were so bad on Yelp I almost didn't go, but I had kids with me, I was tired, and These kids needed to eat. First of all the place was very clean and the hostess was nice and seated us immediately. Our waitress also showed up Quickly - between minutes we had beverages. We ordered an appetizer which also came out in a decent time and was pretty good. We played trivia on the table tablets and had a good time while we waited for our food. Our food came out and it was piping hot and tasted pretty darn good. I ordered a steak bowl, my kids burgers, and the husband sirloin steak. We paid our bill on the tablet and were on 75 in 45 minutes. I've never been a chilis fan, and these reviews were quite bad so I felt compelled to leave a nice review because honestly it exceeded expectations! read more
