Our recent meal at Longhorn steakhouse was enjoyable and we both agreed that four and a half stars would be just right. The meal was great, our server was excellent and everything was cooked to our liking. The only thing was, we both ordered steak, medium and medium rare and both cuts were a bit on the tough side. Besides that, the meal was very good, the starter loaf of fresh bread with butter was delicious. My salad was crisp and fresh and the sides were cooked just right. It's been awhile since we had a meal at a Longhorn Steakhouse and I'd forgotten how flavorful their steaks are. In addition to steak, they offer a variety of chicken, fish and rib dishes. I was looking at their dinner salads and was tempted to order one, next time for sure. Of course, the steaks are the main thing and they do a very good job overall. This restaurant knows how to flavor up steaks! Another plus is the good parking and location. Longhorn serves up quality food and the price is reasonable. Regular customers so disappointed tonight. Sat at the bar and ordered filet and lobster tail told server that I wanted the lobster tail without any seasoning and the baked potato with everything on the side . Dinner came with lobster tail loaded with Old Bay Seasoning, and potato with everything.Server told me she had specifically told chef to cook tail without seasoning. She took lobster tail back and it was returned tasting like it was soaked in Old Bay. Won't be returning again. read more

We ordered soup, received our salad first, only got two bites of salad ate when they brought our soup, maybe three teaspoons of soup was eaten and our entree was delivered. My husband's vegetables were cold so they gave him new ones. It wasn't very busy so we don't know what was the big hurry to serve the food. Soups were cold when server finally returned to table and someone commented because they had wanted another drink her response was " I have other Customers on the other side " messed u the checks, waited another 15 for her to resolve the problem. We were able to join the waitlist online which I always like. Upon arrival we were sat quickly at a booth in the bar area. The atmosphere was nice as the bar wasn't too busy and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Up charged to the potato soup as a side and it was decent. Definitely had a bacon flavor but overall is good. Both ordered the 9oz filet medium well and they were drastically different in color, mine being undercooked and his overcooked. It was still a good flavor though. For sides the broccoli was good, mashed potatoes were pretty good and the loaded baked potato was also good. The Cesar salad dressing wasn't my favorite but tasted ok. read more

( she is a blonde lady x I didn't get her name ) Server - Kasha was very polite , super responsive, and very attentive with my family and I . Food - wow maybe the best Sunday lunch , I've eaten in Years . The Flo Filet and Baked Potato was cooked to perfection. I dined here tonight and while the food was decent, the service was disappointing. The staff looked completely exhausted, which reflected in their performance. They moved sluggishly, forgot parts of my order, and seemed generally uninterested in providing good service. I understand that working in the food industry can be tiring, but it was clear that either management is overworking them or they're understaffed. I like this chain and this location in particular. The atmosphere, food, and value are spot on. In general the service is good also. That said, the same issue occurred that I experienced a month ago. It is a real challenge to get the bill and then pay. Not sure why that is the case. Annoying 10 minute delay. I sit at the bar so it shouldn't be that big of a challenge. I am in search of a mid price range Steak House. I know the upscale places in the area and now I am looking for something a little less expensive. Longhorn fits the bill depending on the cut of steak you order. If you order their most expensive cuts they are still way under the $$$$ places. I ordered the bone in rib eye and was very satisfied with the quality of the meat and the sides. The steak comes with baked potato and salad so no extra add on pricing. I ordered the steak medium rare and I thing it came out more rare then I expected. Not a problem really just a little more red than I was expecting. Mrs. K. ordered her tenderloin filet and it was cooked exactly to her request. I had a taste of it and it was a very tasty steak. I haven't been to a Longhorn Steakhouse in over a year because the quality of the steaks drastically changed. . The steaks became smaller and fattier while the prices became higher and higher, not a good combination for me. I decided to give it a try since it's been awhile. When we arrived ,we were immediately greeted and sat. right away. The inside is decorated in a Western theme with a casual atmosphere which is pretty cool. Jojo was our server and she did a great job taking care of us tonight. I started out with the dry rub wings for an appetizer and they were pretty good. Wood have liked a little more dry rub seasoning on them but overall pretty good. For dinner, I ordered the 18oz Outlaw Ribeye and was surprisingly impressed with it. It was perfectly seared with nice grill marks, big cut and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The steak was super flavorful and was very impressed as I was quite disappointed in my prior visits as stated above. Over all great service tonight and Jojo was excellent. She was knowledgeable of the menu and made sure our drinks were filled. They also have WiFi and a kids menu with plenty of parking outside. There is a bar area that has plenty of seating with televisions, great for waiting when busy. Will be again in the near future and recommend. read more

Longhorn Steakhouse was a very strange experience. On the outside, Longhorn looks like higher end steakhouse. But when you walk in, the place looks old, worn down and decor very out of date. I know that Longhorn promotes themselves as a 'casual' steakhouse, but I wasn't expecting to see people in track pants and ball caps. But here's the thing... the food was excellent, and so was the service. Also, the pricing is not cheap, especially if you want prime rib or the filet. So there seems to be this confusion as to what kind of restaurant they want to be. They basically provide higher end food, expensive pricing... but with a run down, casual environment. Again, very strange. The menu is also matches this mixed environment. Not only do they offer the high end expensive cuts of meat, but they also offer burgers, sandwiches and other items at more reasonable pricing. They also have an excellent selection of fun appetizers that other higher end steakhouses wouldn't offer. Will I go back? I don't know... I like both casual and higher end restaurants. Not sure about this mixed up restaurant design where it does a little bit of both. ??? read more

For a franchise steakhouse amongst a lot of competition, Longhorn does not drop the ball. I had a wonderful dinner, great service and all at a decent price. Sure there are better steakhouses nearby, but you'll pay for the upgrade. This place does an excellent job of delivering great, premium-tasting, well-cooked steaks. I got the ribeye and it was very yummy. I asked for asparagus as a side and paid extra but I have to admit the asparagus was squishy and bit flavorless. Steamed for too long is my guess. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer and let me just say, ORDER IT!!! So so good, I wanted the recipe! Haha My lovely date ordered a filet and shrimp combo that looked extremely delicious and upon receiving a small portion it tasted as good as it looked. Waitress, her name was Alex, did a great job and was very attentive to details. I had a great Moscow mule as well. Overall it was a great dinner, and all for around $70! Decided to stop in for a quick lunch. I had the chop steak with a loaded baked potato and hubby had a cheeseburger. No complaints today except for the fact that it's cold outside but colder inside. No idea why on earth the place would have the air conditioning on today When it's 58° outside. I even checked out the bathrooms for once and they were super clean. There is hand sanitizer there as well for you to use. We were thrilled with our service with Deb. It was my son's 12th birthday and she made sure to sing the birthday song and give him a sundae!! They bring out fresh bread and butter - my family loved that!
