This is what I ordered vs what I got. I ordered the tropical breeze... I am pregnant so I was giving the non alcoholic drinks a try instead of ordering water as I have been. The bartender Chris made the decision to use berries instead of mangos to make my drink because they are (out of mangos) which he never brought to my attention, he just decided. Chris (red head bartender) polite yet forgetful is one of the worst bartenders here, it's kinda like if you live here you get bottom of the barrel service and efforts during the off season, just cook in house until the snow birds come back even if you live here all year! While in Naples. Hubby and I decided to keep it simple and stay close to the campground. Ok, he wasn't appropriately dressed. Decided on Texas Roadhouse. We were seated right away. The restaurant is lively and I do love me some country music. Our server Elizabeth was very polite and friendly. Definitely well trained on the upsell options. Lol Most certainly had to order the onion which was super hot and came out right away. I ordered the filet and hubby chose the half rack of ribs. The salad was super fresh but came out way too fast. My baked potato dwarfed the steak. The steak was average and we had to ask for the yummy rolls. Wound up packaging the salad, steak and snuck a roll in. Sounds like lunch tomorrow! read more

Service was fine but this was my first time trying Texas Roadhouse and probably my last. The rolls are over hyped, the steak while giant was so under seasoned it was almost not worth eating. Had diner there tonight. Yeast rolls were great and the Caesar side salad was huge enough that we split it. It was crisp, cold and perfectly seasoned. I followed mine with a mid size filet. It was large and perfectly cooked. My wife had the steak tips again perfectly cooked. Our dinner tab including an excellent house Margareta was less than $60. Service was spot on. First time in a few years going there and not impressed. Made a waitlist (confirmed) reservation and arrived twenty minutes later. No reservations showed on her computer and showed her confirmation which confused her. Said will put you up next, ten minutes went to desk and was told it still was not showing as a reservation. Finally seated and ordered prime rib, a few minutes later server apologized no prime rib available tonight. Order strip steak, not tender and had better meat from Fresh Msrket at a lot less cost. I have to admit, this experience was LEVELS ABOVE my previous visit(s)!! I came here initially to simply purchase a gift card and have a drink. Iwas greeted promptly by a guy who seemed a bit nervous. I later found out his name is Aiden V, and it was his first night solo behind the bar. IMO, he did great and interacted with all the patrons at the bar, ensuring all were taken care of properly and were content. Soon after arriving and being greeted by Aiden, this burst of SUNSHINE named Emily also greeted me, and because of her, I decided to stay and eat. I saw I was there during Early Dining and decided to take advantage. I ordered the Country Sirloin with corn and a cup of chili for $12.99. As I write this, I am a stuffed pig with corn and chili riding home with me. ONLY complaint is the Xtra loud music at the top of every hour where servers dance in the aisles. Personally not my taste, nor is Country music, however maybe turn the volume down just a little for the hourly celebration? Our waitress was friendly & efficient. Our steak was tough and the baked potatoes as on the cooler side with no butter on it. Th salad was very good & cold. Order a bud light beer and was $7.75! First let me talk about the service, excellent. As soon as I sat down at the bar, the bartender made me feel very welcome. She got my drink and handed me a menu, asking if I had any questions. Soon after, her coworker was right there taking my order. I normally don't frequent chains, but someone told me about their steak salad and I had to try it. It was phenomenal. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Love going there Mondays thru Thursdays As on the back of the menu you can get a 6 oz. Steak with 2 sides for $12.99. The steak is always cooked perfectly to order. I also think their Sangria is one of the best in town. Only negative is you must remember to bring a sweater as they Really keep it cold in there. Recently brought family from out of Town and they were really upset when they went back to San Francisco and found that they didn't have a roadhouse there. We recently had lunch here and after being seated, a basket of hot, homemade rolls was sat down in front of us and the salad was fresh and crisp. Although the sides were good, we both ordered chicken and agreed it would have tasted better grilled. It reminded me of poached chicken, hubs said boiled. There is room for improvement here, some grill marks and seasoning would make a difference. The barbecue sauce was homemade and good, but a variety would be even better. The staff was friendly and our server was attentive. A good lunch overall, we'll go back, and aside from the under seasoned chicken, this restaurant has a varied menu, nice atmosphere and good service. read more

My husband and I took our grandson for dinner for his birthday celebration at the Naples, FL location. We arrived at 5:00. We ordered an appetizer to start. We ordered their fried onion and it had flour around the bottom. Looked uncooked. We told our server, and he took it back and told us that is how it is prepared. Ok, let me start by saying the actual food and service were very good once we were finally seated. The estimate from the host was 40-50 minutes but we were not seated until 70 minutes later. I was told that our table was being cleared and reset but waited like a schmuck for another 20 minutes in the staging area while countless other parties were shown to their tables. I finally asked to speak to a manager and she stated that she didn't know we were ready (even though the hostess told us to stand in the on deck zone. The manager Emily said that they were very busy and short staffed. That is absolutely no excuse to ignore a group of five who did only as they were asked to do. Our waiter Edgar was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very helpful with all my dietary restrictions. He was so friendly, efficient and kind. Our food was terrific. I ordered a steak salad cooked medium and it came out perfect. From the hostess to every single employee we came in contact with, we were greeted with extreme kindness. I really don't like coming to a steakhouse and not getting steak. I spotted an interesting dish on the menu. I ordered their tenderloin medallions served on a bed of rice with peppercorn sauce. The peppercorn sauce put the dish on a whole level of greatness. I didn't expect that a pepper sauce served in a plastic cup to be very good. I was wrong it was very good. Truly well run restaurant. Excellent customer service. Consistent good food and prices. Our go-to neighborhood steak joint for our entire Family. The servers are always attentive and nice. Drinks are ice cold and bread is fabulous. Two points of contention: The amount of PERFUMES the waitresses wear will smother you. They need to make a policy of no perfumes. It chokes you out every time one of them walks by which is all the time. Also avoid the booths by the bathrooms, they have some kind of stinky air freshener that auto sprays that the surrounding tables are all complaining about. My brother who lives close has ordered frequently from the East Naples Texas Roadhouse mostly to go due to a extremely busy set work schedule.Out of the goodness of his heart he decided to treat me his sister and our Mom to New Years Eve dinner at his home.We have all enjoyed in the past each time we ate at Texas Roadhouse, except for the last two times,my brother ordered 3 to go dinners on Mother's Day and all 3 salads were missing.This New Year's Eve I ordered a filet mignon, medium rare.It was horrible the chef decided to butterfly my filet not to mention on one side it was completely black and normal color on the other.I know chefs do this to speed up cooking time but usually Only with permission from the customer First, because people who like their steaks cooked well done don't usually mind if it's cooked butterfly style.It was Horrible,tough and dried out a big disappointment especially since I only order red meat as a treat.
