Very disappointing meal. It took forever for the food to come. No free chips and salsa while you wait ...I ordered the fajitas ~ paid extra for shrimp that was tasteless and soft ~ and that sizzling plate that lets you smell your food from across the room was barely warm, as was the food on it. The 3 flour tortillas had hard edges. Glad I paid extra for the rice and beans, because while also barely warm, they had great flavor! That was the only dollar well spent at Chilis tonight. This review is based on the average of 2 recent visits. The first trip there, we had a really attentive waiter who recommended us great food. Really enjoyed the soft taco and enchiladas. The dessert, chocolate molten lava cake was AMAZING. So good we went back again for the same dessert. The second visit, we had to wait quite a bit for the food and everything was squished together on one plate so it got kinda messy. Just has an awful experience at this Chili's! I suggested this restaurant to my daughter because I had had a great experience at the Chili's in Wappingers and we were going to be in the Newburgh area. Total mistake! Everything was filthy, even my daughter's straw which had been in a wrapper. The only thing worse than the service was the food, which was inedible. We ate as much of the greasy appetizer (which came out after the meal) as we could and then left. Early this week, I was customer number one for the day. It took 25 minutes to get some tacos and an enchilada after my order was taken. Today, I came in and was seated at a table and waited 15 minutes for anyone to take my order before walking out. Lunch time should not have waits like those. I finally went next door to Longhorn. The nachos were delicious having a slight enchilada flavor, the bacon burger was wonderful and filling and its toppings were crisp and fresh, the boneless hot wings were spiced just right and and we never had to ask for a single refill on our drinks. Girlfriend orders the Big Mouth Bites to-go after her and a friend are their for lunch. Her friend orders the same meal so she thinks it would be something I would like. After getting it home we find out that they basically didn't include the fries. We call to ask why and the person on the phone asks if we were given 16.5 ounces of fries. !?!?!? Are you kidding me? First, how am I suppose to know what 16.5 ounces of fries looks like. Second, are you really in the back with a scale measuring French fry portions? I can go to Five Guys and order a small fry and can't even finish it since it's so big, but yet Chili's is rationing French fries! The burger was dry and the meal was overall blah! Me and my girlfriend were in the mood for a nice warm cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream so we said why not go to chilies and get one to go. We got to chilies and requested the cookie skillet. We received the cookie and proceeded home to eat, when we got home we had to heat up the cookie and it tasted putrid and after 1 min and 30 seconds of heating the cookie was hard as a rock. My boyfriend and I love chili's. But I will never go back to this location. I'll start with the positives: the manager was very nice. Other than that there's no more positives. This is the second time we had a bad experience here. We order he same salad we always get and she starts off with saying I can't get crispy chicken instead of grilled on the 2 for 20 which I do EVERYTIME. She brings the salads and they're tiny so much smaller than normal, the lettuce looks completely different like it's Romain mixed with iceberg. The Romain that was there was literally brown soggy and rotten. When I pointed this out she was rude and told me that's how it is. The chicken also tasted like bagged chicken from the store. It's normal so good! I don't want anything at this point but my boyfriend ordered the bacon ranch quesadillas which also are usually amazing. She goes "try them so I can see if those are ok" I'm a rude tone like we made up that our salads were rotting. they were soggy and barely had any chicken. When we were telling another waitress our waitress pushed her out of her way to talk to us . Again so rude. I've never had such a terrible experience at chili's and I will never eat at this location again. Wish I could give zero stars. I have been to at least 6 different Chilis across the eastern U.S and this has had to be the worst experience ever. The food was pretty good but the service was absolutely horrendous. The waitress was so rude and snotty and treated us like we were a burden. I went to the bathroom when I arrived and the waitress asked my friend "I don't supposed you would know what your friend wants?" all rude and impatient. We waited 15 minutes for chips and guacamole while the waitress stood at the computer laughing with her coworkers and standing around while other waitresses brought out their appetizers. Lied about having runners for the food while we watched her bring everyone else their food- no runner in sight. Then after being treated like a problem the whole visit I was completing the online survey at the ziosk and she looks over my shoulder and got in my face about why I was dissatisfied with my visit. She proceeds to tell me that if I have a problem that I should say something to her - not asking if there is anything she could do to make our visit better. I told her I would prefer not to tell her and that I would leave a comment for her in the survey she proceeded to roll her eyes and walk away. My family and I went there for later dinner on New Year. The waitress apparently wasn't happy to be there, but we didn't let it to bother us. Since my daughter ordered kid meal, she refilled her drink 2 times. The last time she requested, the waitress waited like 10 seconds before she acknowledged. When she came back with the drink, she implied we all drank from my daughter's cup because we didn't drink our water! She was very rude. Still we tipped her 15% as courtesy. After i made payment in kiosk at the table, it followed with survey. As i was half way filling out the survey, the waitress marched in and yanked it out of my hands and walked away.
