We were finally able to try this incredible restaurant last night with 2 other couples and we already made reservations for next Friday. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile and then whisked away to your table. Our waitress Nashley(I hope I spelled her name correctly) was super attentive, provided incredible drinks and appetizers recommendations and got the night started right! We all had steak, but different ones and our plates were clean by the end of our meals. Simply delicious food, and this place is a must try. read more

Best Nachos in the area hands down..Usually when I order Nachos its only meat and everything is at the top. Tulum actually layer the Nachos so your getting everything on every bite. read more

As I mentioned in my last post Tulum has really good food ! I went there 2x times in one week lol. If you are new to this page I love tacos ! Their tacos are amazing! I had the steak and shrimp tacos, and would love to try the other options they had on the menu when I return. The ambiance, food and Service of the place is 5 stars. I Always wanted to go to Tulum, my first impression was very spacious! We opted for a table to the right side away from the bar. The bar seems very lively with a wide variety of patrons coming and going along wiith good music. The drinks were absolutely amazing, the food in my opinion not as good, but still enjoyable. The deserts were also so good, those churros were so yummy. Our waitress was nice. I enjoyed out visit to Tulum and definitely a place to visit if you are looking for a lively Bar. read more

So we went to Tulum Mexican Restaurant on a recommendation from my son who wanted a new and different experience. I've driven by it many times and never knew it was there. We went not knowing what to expect, but even from the parking lot the restaurant looked fresh, exciting, and upscale. We went in and right away we knew it was probably going to be good. Great music playing, killer bar/lounge area (that had a big congregation), and a really friendly staff (that was easy on the eyes too! ). The decor is updated, classy, and comfortable. The food was great!, the drinks were just as great and had a good amount of alcohol in them (unlike other places who skimp on the good stuff.) But don't get too full because the desserts are bangin' too !! We had a great visit. The service, the food, the staff, all were amazing and friendly. We're a family of Gringos that love Mexican food. So to find another restaurant that has great Gringo style Mexican food is like getting a gift. We walked away with a smile, a good feeling of going again, and a full stomach. We went here for my friend's birthday and we had a reservation. The inside was nice and they had a menu with her name on it and the preset menu. However, that was the extent of the good for this review. The service was extremely slowwwww, we waited almost 50 minutes for food, even for a preset menu and when i mentioned this the server stated they also had another party to tend to. If they cannot accommodate more than once party at a time that should be advised. I didn't order more than the calamari because the wait was so long. But i tasted the steak taco a day it was under seasoned on a very bland tortilla. When the bill came gratuity was already applied and it was way more than our server deserved since we barely saw her and she did not try to keep us up to speed on the wait. They can use some additional training on customer service adequate. The least she could have done was be present and provide updates on the food. Ordered to go for lunch here, since its new and am like it's interesting. It was pretty quick to order here and had wait bit. staff is pretty friendly and nice. So, the food, the steak tacos were great, steak was tender and juicy and seasoned well, tortilla were soft and salsa Roja and salsa verde sauces were very fresh and well-seasoned as well. wish I ordered more tacos. Now the shrimp burrito, was pretty large, well stuffed with beans, rice cheese and lettuce, wish it was bit more generous with the shrimp since a few pieces here and there, with mostly bites of beans and rice, definitely different that here top it with salsa and cheese. The burrito was alright but compared to tacos really felt flat. Side of street corn was amazing, its rare find a place that actually grills the street corn, rather than just topping it with cheese and seasonings, I did really enjoy it. overall, a great meal and it is nice of this place that even in to go boxes they made looked presentable. read more

After months of hearing about this place, I decided my birthday meal tonight 9/17/23 would be food from Tulum. I was sadly mistaken. The steak burrito was bland and the meat inside tasted sour (turned) and so much cilantro. The fried plantains were burnt. The tostones were super dry and flavorless. My children's father ordered some shrimp thing that was disgusting and the rice side was again over seasoned with cilantro. I have NEVER had food so flavorless and then food that tasted like soap. I wound up throwing out everything but the chicken tenders my kids ate. Find a better place. read more

We went as large group of 23 guests for a Celebration . It took over an hour and half for our food to come out. One person was serving all the food and taking the orders . Mind you this was a planned event with a pre-set menu . Not only were they short staffed but didn't follow a typical pre-set menu . Typically everyone at the table gets everything on the menu and you are to choose one main course . We all got chips & salsa but you had to ask for the salad or dessert if you wanted it . The food was good but not worth the wait . They do not accommodate large groups very well ! This is a place for a solo date or even just a few friends but they are not staffed for large GROUPS. We eat a lot of Mexican food. And we were in the area for a baseball game so we ate here. WOW!!!! Sooooo Good. From the salsa and guacamole. To the fresh chips. So spacious inside, and complimentary quesadilla! We got the nachos it was fantastic, and so big we couldn't finish. My son got the enchiladas and the portion size was so large and again delicious. We wished we live closer to go back more often. But if we ever pass through, we will go back!! read more
