It was our First time going to Chili in Newburgh and the place the Food, the Drinks and service was excellent

Greeted soon as I walked in..chilis always gets a plus for that! Seated near the bar area, which they have different televisions of sports going on. It was well lit inside as well. Our server was attentive & she was running the bar as well-Job well done! Food came in a timely manner,hot & delicious! I actually saved room for dessert (which I usually don't). Chilis should expand their dessert menu but the cookie skillet was decent,served hot & usually the ice cream comes ontop but I asked for mines to be on the side.You definitely need to share with someone with this sized cookie. read more

We stopped in Upstate New York for a late lunch early dinner at Chili's! Calliope had the Chicken fingers with fries aka Potatoes with ice water! Tony and I split the Trio Appetizer with Nashville Hot Mozarrella Sticks, Cheeseburger Sliders and Southwestern Egg Rolls with Ranch! Noki went with a Trio Platter also of Regular Mozarrella Sticks The Cheeseburger Sliders and Nashville Hot Chicken Fingers! She had Root Beer and I had a Non-Alcoholic Arnold Palmer Iced Tea and Tony had a large draft beer The waitress was extremely nice and attentive! I can't speak for everyone else, but 9/10x the food slaps. The 1x is more so for the sides, to be honest and that's depending on whoever is making them at the time I order. For example, the Mac and cheese was watery once, but outside of that it's been consistent. Nonetheless, I usually order the tenders hot honey and I don't know what sauce they use but it is AMAZING. The tenders are actually very big and juicy (sometimes they give you a half more tender than the number you order, which I like about them). They're not stingy on the portions. That sauce is crazy. The perfect moisture/wetness and sweetness with the hot kick. Will you pay an arm and leg? YES. Is it worth it? Honestly I'd rather it be cheaper (We trying to save money lmao) but I can't complain, the food slaps You definitely gotta get the hot honey chicken tenders. They're goated. The Mexican street corn (Again, depending on who is cooking the day) is fire too. I've already ordered it tons of times and I will again. I actually like their tenders (and the sauce) way better than Wingstop. Wingstop just got better ranch. If Chili's can do that, we in motion baby (Plus, yall gotta fill the ranch to the TOP. Came here after all the tiktok hype for the triple dipper. And the hype remains true. The honey chipotle crispers were phenomenal. Mozzarella sticks were humongous, more like a slab than a stick. And the big mouth bites were great sliders. That plus a $5 margarita, what could possibly go wrong. Service was great, waitress came around filling my soda every time I finished it. Was chugging my Diet Coke after a day swimming. We got seated quickly and food was served very quickly as well. Vibes were what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. I called them to let them know that they gave me raw chicken wings. The manager claimed that they fried them twice clearly didn't happen here. I noticed something was wrong when I ate one and I noticed it was very slimy so then I opened a couple and this is what I see, since the manager didn't want to help me I just wanted to come on here and like tell everybody to double check your wings before you end up getting them from here because well I just ate raw chicken! The server i had was fantastic i believe his name was Jonathan. He was super friendly and just overall provided great energy. However, the food i had was just bland and not really appealing at all. I dont know if the recipe changed for the grilled chicken I had but I just could not eat it. On top of that when it was brought up Jon was trying his best to make my experience a bit better, even asking if I wanted to speak to a manager about my food. I kindly declined. Things ive noticed is that it seems only a few people actually care about their work. There was a young lady sleeping at the corner by the bathrooms on her phone and not paying attention to her tables. Then I gentle that looked like he was the manager was just on his phone majority of the time. I would also like to add that I never really saw a manager float around. I was disappointed in the quality of food at this location. This reminded me of applebees or olive garden. All frozen microwave food!. What did I expect?!?!?! But When your hungry and with limited time and no where else to eat this is where we ended up. All restaurants in Newburgh that I've looked on Yelp is a travels away so I have to settle at times. (Sigh) The waitress (nicole) I believe her name was, she was very nice and pleasant. We ordered appetizers at first and it wasn't bad, the sliders was actually ok! The Mexican corn was ok as well but the bottom of the corn was hot and when eating the top of it. It seemed cold, I was confused why the whole corn was not hot. My salad, it was called "quesadilla explosion" was horrible. My lettuce was old and the grilled chicken was stale, I politely asked her to take it back. A disappointment all around. The hostess couldn't figure out where to seat us and just left her station to hide in the back. A waiter came over and seated us in the bar. Clearly they need help at this location. The food was nothing special. I had a quesadilla solid with chicken. I looked like they took a bag of salad and dumped some chicken and sauce on it. Some of the salad was brown. My partner had the brisket quesadillas which sounded wonderful but presented on the plate like someone slapped together the food and threw it on the plate. Nothing special On the bright side the server was attentive and tried his best to make the experience enjoyable. If I could give zero stars then I would. I had to send my food back twice. The first time, they forgot three main ingredients from my burger and then the burger was well done instead of medium rare. So I sent it back and switched my order to a chicken sandwich. We waited a half hour for my food to never come out because the kitchen "forgot" about it. Mind you there was only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time. I also found a piece of metal from the top of a container inside of our guac. This place is the grossest restaurant I have even been in my life. We got to the table and it was stick liquid on the floor right under our table. I went to the bathroom and there was when I told my husband we needed to leave. That bathroom I would never use, even if I couldn't hold any longer. Wow. Just wow. Sat in the front for five minutes with multiple employees around and no one seated us. We had to ask a waitress passing by if we could get a table. Once seated, we saw all the employees in the back messing around. Still, no one came to our table so we got up and left. Don't order at this location. They don't read what's coming in and the quality is embarrassing to say the least. One order of smoked chicken wings looks like is close to raw than is to being smoked. The ugly looking buffalo wings was supposed to have the sauce on the side but the genious at the restaurant is too stupid to read what is coming in. As usually you call the store and nobody cares. Before I trash this place, because that's what it was trash let me say that the service was top notch during my visit. My family and I received really exceptional service from our waitress as she was attentive, helpful and really on top of things. Now the food is another question because it was an utter disaster! Our order of fried cheese (aka, mozzarella sticks) tasted like microwaved frozen food. My wife ordered the Nacho Cheese appetizer and it was topped with melted cheese and guacamole which had olives that were dried up appearing as if the entire dish sat in the fridge until it was "heated". Appetizers tasted like complete crap (I'm sorry there really is no other way to put it). Main courses were below average with my youngest kid's mac & cheese that looked really terrible that I didn't let my kids eat the mac & cheese. Based on this experience I will NEVER step foot in any Chili's franchise ever again in my life; not even if it were free! read more

First time for me to patronize a Chili's anywhere. The menu was pretty what I expected and I appreciated calories listed for their food. The server staff was incredible. Warm, friendly, attentive to the children and efficient. The guacamole was quite good as were the chips which were fresh and warm. I ordered the sirloin steak dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I was quite happy to see the generous portion of broccoli that I was served and was happy that it had not been overcooked to mush. However it was not cooked enough and was at that point of not enough to make it rubbery. My steak was ordered medium and it was mostly well done with a couple first bites showing only the slightest of blush. Thus it was pretty dry and chewy. The mashed potatoes were topped with a few bacon bits and just a little cheese. The issue I had with them is that they tasted totally artificial and chemically to a point of being displeasing. I had two bites and opted to not finish them. The servers we had I would give 4 stars for the type of restaurant Chili's is. The food I would give 1.5 stars because the guac and chips were good but my dinner reminded me of economy class airplane food. Thus I arrive at 2 stars. read more

I went to Chili's in Newburgh quite a few times when it just opened...back in 2008 and 2009! I absolutely loved this place...always good food and service. In my opinion this is the best Chili's of the all locations. However I look at other reviews and I noticed one thing. This place USED TO be great. They got a few nice reviews earlier and now I get an impression that it is like a hell hole. (Again I went there back in 2008 and 2009,,,haven't been there so long so I cannot speak for how it is now). Usually have a good time here. This visit not so much. I ordered the smoke house combo and the food I received was barely warm. Street corn that came with it was cold as well as the ribs and brisket. Very disappointed because the server (Holly) was Excellent. She had a very positive attitude and was attentive. I didn't complete my meal and sent it back, however.
