I've had a review of this chilis in the drafts but since I went back last night I figured it was time to post. This Chili's feels a lot newer than my usual establishment, so the ambiance is a little different. It's still Chilis, but this one is a lot more open concept and modern. But despite a different atmosphere, one can still get the Chili's food that they're coming here for. My main issue with this Chili's is the parking lot is too small. You could park across the street at the other big stores, but the dedicated Chili's lot is tiny. Anthem you have to walk around the front of the building to the main entrance, which does not face the parking lot. So just a little awkward. Anyways, on both visit I was seated right away after finding parking. My first visit was just me and a friend but my most recent visit was my family. Chilis is truly good for both situations, even if my parents did not approve of me ordering the $6 margarita of the month- the shark attack! It was pretty good, too. Our waiter had the drinks out pretty quickly and came with the chips, but it took a second to get our guac. I'm pretty sure I had the same waiter on both visits, and he was definitely new the first time. I'm happy to report that he has gotten the hang of Chili's!! We felt bad for him however as the table behind us was complaining to the manager about the food. They looked like the type to do this everywhere they go and they got some of their food comped. Come on people, don't bring your trashiness to Chili's. Leave that at the door!! We are family here. Anyways! The cups and guac were great, my triple dipper was fantastic. I stuck with honey chipotle and regular chicken crispers, and I tried the Nashville hot mozzarella. All of it was so good! I am already looking forward to my next Chili's visit. It's just the perfect background to have a great time with good food, family, and friends! read more

This visit was a mixed bag. I ordered a smokehouse combo for pickup. I must say I am not a fan of today's tip in advance when you pay online mantra. If you don't put a tip in order to do it upon arrival to assess the service you may not get the best service since they will have seen there is no tip. But when you tip online, where they prompt you to start the tip at a minimum 18% even though a pickup work is remarkably less work than dining in where that amount is more warranted, you risk giving a great tip for subpar service. Alas, this dilemma ended up being my experience. The person who handed me my order was nice enough, but he didn't put my chicken crispers dipping sauce in the bag or any napkins or silverware. Napkins in particular was essential because I ordered the 1/2 rack of bbq ribs as a part of my 3 item combo! The ribs were good with fall off the bone meat by the way. So essentially, I feel like I was coerced a bit to overtip in this scenario. But I digress... I also got the Nashville hot chicken crispers (way too salty) and the brisket quesadillas (pretty tasty but a tad light on the brisket). The Texas toast was a bit soggy, but at least the Mexican street corn was pretty good. Overall this was a pretty mixed bag but tending on the not so great side. One cool thing to note is their parking lot has an EV station! That's not typical for a restaurant so kudos to them for doing their part to promote environmentally friendly transportation! For that I'll up them to three stars for an otherwise uninspiring experience. read more

We come often because it's super close to home. Decent prices for the amount of food you get and they have a large menu. Usually we have servers that are well attentive and quick but occasionally have someone that is less attentive than desired. Never had a major problem with the food, steaks have come out cooked always as requested and aside from forgetting a side here or there the service is overall satisfying. recently visited This chili's , and I have to say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness and service were not priorities here. First, the tables were visibly dirty, with crumbs and smudges left behind from previous customers. When we asked for our table to be wiped down, the staff seemed annoyed and half-heartedly ran a damp cloth over it, leaving it just as grimy as before. The cups we were given were no better--water spots and a general lack of cleanliness made it impossible to feel comfortable drinking from them. Service was a nightmare. Despite the restaurant being half-empty, it took an eternity for anyone to greet us, let alone take our order. The staff seemed disinterested, distracted, and completely untrained. When our food finally arrived, it was sloppily presented, and no one came by to check on us or refill our drinks. To top it off, the general atmosphere of the place was chaotic and unorganized. I couldn't wait to leave and frankly regretted even stepping foot inside. If you value clean dining spaces and decent service, avoid this place at all costs. read more

I would NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant, its gone downhill immensely. It seems like they hire young individuals (which is fine) but they're too busy speaking with their friends that pop in to care about you and your order. Additionally - I usually just do salads when I'm there and it's all lettuce for 9 plus dollars-this is a side salad mind you - which they tell you you'll get cucumbers, tomatoes etc. Seems like that don't care what they serve anymore or who they hire. Had a great experience at this Chili's which is what makes me surprised when seeing the overall rating. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. Always came over at the perfect time and made sure we were happy. The Habanero Chicken Crispers with corn on the cob, fries and a salad for $11 was an outstanding deal. Lively and very noisy Tuesday night due to quiz and well attended , also event at Foxborough for Tom Brady. I had chicken tenders and they were OK. The chile dipping sauce was horribly sweet and no heat. Service was slow and nonchalant. Only benefit was proximity to hotel and late opening. Stopped in after my bar shift at a country club I was starvin. It was 10:30 bam home run Chilis about 4 miles from my house and on the way from work. Chillin at the bar and the service was excellent. I've ordered takeout several times from Chili's. They used to have someone bring your food out to the car. Now you have to go in and pick it up. The last two times I ordered, my order was ready before they texted me to tell me it was ready. In fact, both times I got a text that my food was ready AFTER I had already picked it up and went home. This was a good Chili's! We stopped in for late lunch on a road trip to Cape Cod. The place seemed clean. Our server was pleasant and efficient. The food was filling - no complaints here. There was a problem with our check where we were also charged for the people who sat at the table before us, but our server quickly fixed it. Maybe it's a new system? We went here last night because I was craving their spinach queso dip and chips. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. No more of those tile tables, probably because you can't get them really clean. They practiced social distancing and staff wore masks. You are able to take your masks off at your table but if you need to use the bathroom or move around for any reason you must wear a mask. I ordered the thick cut Ribeye steak medium it came back well done, flavorless and was not a thick cut. No salt and pepper on the tables or even those little packets. Hubby ordered the chicken and waffles also flavorless just wicked sweet with no other flavors; so basically candied chicken. We also ordered the fried pickles which were really good. The food came out pretty fast, but wasn't really hot. I took the chance against my better judgment to order the steak, I mean they're not really known for their steak. Next time I'm craving queso dip I'll stick to their basics. read more

This is a great chili's- the bar service is where it's at. The bartenders are super nice and great for a late night dinner. I love their chips and salsa- obviously. They have a decent draft list and good options for kids. I have gotten the Tex fresh chicken bowl a few times- it's really good in house or takeout. They have easy curbside pickup for takeout with takeout drinks too. It's a typical chain restaurant but the staff is really nice and it's easy to take the kids to. read more

Went out for lunch with my honey because we had gift cards. The food was amazing with the service was exceptional the server was out of this world really understanding and flexible for you. Her name was Michelle we were sitting in the bar area very accommodating we had a luncheon specials I had a chicken bacon quesadilla with onion strings . She offered me these as an alternative even though across a little bit extra because he already gotten a free chips and salsa which normally comes with the quesadilla. This is a deconstructed blooming onion for a dollar more other luncheon specials are eight dollars and is at least a variety of 10 things that you can get. My honey got the double cheeseburger as well as the french fries that also came with a choice of Cesar salad,regular salad, chowder or their famous chili.I got the chili but I had so much food I ended up getting the chili to go. We also got the free chips and salsa which comes with the chilies member passport it's a free item that you receive each time you come in. You could also get a free beverage instead. You also get a present on your birthday and sometimes give you free desserts for free trials of items in the course of the year. I could not finish my bacon cheese and chicken quesadilla I'll be taking the rest home. Definitely worth popping in for for under $20 we got lunch. He also got a draft and I got the margarita of the month. Food was average, The chicken tenders and wings were so hard like a rock. They sure were not freshly made but felt like just badly thawed in microwave. We were seated so closely in a booth adjacent to another party that we could almost feel their shoulders while most of the restaurant was almost half-empty. When requested to be seated elsewhere with some spacing, we were told that there are no strict regulations for spacing currently and no other seating was available! The restrooms was nasty. Chili's has gone from a fun Tex-Mex restaurant years ago to a almost sub standard basically fast food restaurant. I have not been to a Chili's in several years based on the last time I went in Orlando, but recently saw an ad on TV and decided to go get the chicken quesadilla explosion salad near home. This location in Plainville (?) is being renovated so it was like eating in a construction zone. I was alone, and sat at a booth in the bar area. There were a few people/couples at the bar and a few in booths like myself. The server was very personable, and was quick to bring over water and take my order. I looked at the menu and thought about changing my mind but did end up ordering the Quesadilla Explosion Salad (grilled chicken, cheese, tomatoes, corn & black bean salsa, tortilla strips with citrus-balsamic dressing. Served with cheese quesadillas for $11.39) ) The salad was just not good. Very little lettuce (and some of it had brown spots on it - gross) compared to the tons of corn and black bean salsa, and tortilla strips added. A small grilled boneless chicken breast was the standard already grilled chicken that waits to be cut up and put in things in the kitchen, so it was cold and a bit tough to chew. The cheese quesadillas were oily and hard as if they had been pre-made and then heated up in the microwave just before bringing out on the salad. The dressing was very acidic and I asked for avocado ranch to bring it down a bit, and that helped. But overall, it was pretty bad. I ended up with a stomach ache after about 30 minutes and decided my days at Chili's are over. I would probably still stop in another Chili's for a Margarita if it were hot enough, but my eating days are done. As a chain, they expanded too fast and then kept lowering the price point on their food, which meant they had to downgrade the quality - and it shows. However, Applebees , Road House Grille and all the big chains have done the same in the past few years. I guess ti's just a sign of the times. read more

I absolutely LOVE this chili's location - I'm almost afraid to write this review as it might change my luck with it all together. Lol. We live close by this location and it by far my favorite restaurant in town. They are never busy, we can always get right in to a table and are served almost immediately every time. The servers are always friendly and on their game. The food has never taken more than 15 mins max to get to our table. We've been here probably 10 times since we moved here last year and every time it's awesome. It's clean, fast & hot food, delicious. Being from Texas (where chilis is from) I can say I absolutely hate every experience at every chilis I've ever been to in Texas. Totally different story here. This is definitely my family's go-to for comfort home style food that's consistent. read more

The food is OK and that's all I have to say about it....NOW- let's talk about the Alcoholic Beverages.......Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! The same Bartender is always working in the evenings whenever we go to get our food and drinks. I don't know what her name is but she is TERRIBLE!!!!! She is SO stingy with her ALCOHOL in her drinks!!!!! The Margaritas are sooo watered down with everything else besides the PATRON!!!! We are not from this area but that shouldn't matter. Cinco De Mayo was even more TERRIBLE I specifically had an email from Chili's about the drink specials for May 5, 2022. THEY DID NOT honor the email that I showed our waitress. She said that the email with the drink specials was NOT in Massachusetts???? I don't have any idea what that means. I was going to wrap my review up UNTIL the waitress brought our bill to us....It was totally wrong I don't have anything else to say about this LOCATION. The MANAGER had a big argument with another customer for some reason and we thought they were going to fight about it!!! The upset customer left upset about something. A few minutes later the local police arrived at the restaurant??? So here we are now sitting here waiting to get our bill corrected so we can pay and go back home!!! We will NOT be back here again. Providence, RI is closer for us which is awesome I was going to give them a ZERO star review but it wouldn't allow me to do it. That's the only reason why I had to give them a one star.
